- Jasmin Beach Hotel

The hotel is located in Gumbet, approximately 800 metres from the centre and just 30 metres from the beach. The cosmopolitan resort of Bodrum, with its castle and the Museum of Underwater Archaeology, is approximately 3 km away. Guests will find shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife around 400 metres from the hotel. The complex consists of 2- and 3-storey white cube blocks, typical of the local style, set amidst well-maintained gardens. Pretty, brightly-coloured bougainvillea creep up the sides of the buildings in this popular apartment hotel. With 259 rooms in total, the establishment offers a rich variety of services and facilities. There is a choice of 3 outdoor pools and the hotel also has its own section of the sandy beach approximately 30 metres away where sun loungers and parasols can be hired. Guests are welcome to pamper themselves with a massage or SPA treatment.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We stayed at the Jasmin Bach hotel. The hotel is all-inclusive, but the food was terrible and inedible, and the cleanliness was awful. There's a terrace restaurant within the hotel grounds; we went there, the food was stale and expensive, and the staff were very rude. I suffered from stomach aches for two days because of what I ate. I do not recommend it.
We tagged along with another couple who had booked, so when I read reviews on here before the holiday I was a little worried. There are lots of good points so I don't think some of the lower star reviews are fair. Here is my honest review.
The good...
Breakfast - plenty variety with eggs, pancakes, chips, beans etc. Yoghurt, cereals, salads, fruit, turkish pastries, cold meats and cheeses. Nice bread with toaster and toasty maker available to use. Just dont unreasonably expect a full traditional English breakfast & you'll be happy. Coffee machine, juice machine (dilute), Turkish tea and english breakfast teabags. Lunch - Always happy, ate there 5 out of 7 days, plenty of meat and vegetable dish options. Some beige kids foods. Some 'diet' options which were basic steamed meats and veg. Plentiful salads and cold foods, lots of dressings and sauces. Soup. Good desserts and fresh fruit. Tea (dinner) - Plenty different options to lunch which isnt always a given at buffets. Good variety and they didnt get too repetitive either. Again, ate 5 out of 7 days. We aren't a couple who eat at the hotel in an evening just because it is all inclusive, we often eat out, even at 5 star hotels, so I think this says a lot about the food. Staff were fantastic in the restaurant, great clearing tables quickly, always polite, replenished foods quickly (only exception could be the grill but I saw some very greedy people taking full pides etc so I dont think this is their fault). Soup service late on for an hour or so, we didnt use (visited the kebab cafe on the beach!). Snacks - usually nuggets, burger, chips, basic salad items. No complaints. Ice cream - 2 ice cream lollies from freezer in snack bar. Coffee & cake - basic small selection of cake, cookies and biscuits which were nice enough.
3 slides - open in morning for an hour and afternoon for an hour. Good fun. Slides just go down into a small separate pool. Kids pool looked clean too.
Staff happy to help with any problems, requests or questions.
The not so good...
We went here as a family paid all Inc not cheap either and the food was terrible really all catered for the Turkish and Eastern European tourists. .Our grandchildren were hungry whilst staying here so we had to eat out just to get a decent meal and only food wasn't edible in the main resturaunt.Up in the al la carte resturaunt were u are allowed to dine in there once a week free that food was very good and tasty and choice means and Oscar Jimmy Gerald the owner of that resturaunt and made our holiday with their hospitality ..The evening entertainment is non existent except for the belly dancer .bar closes 11pm for all Inc but you can still drink up on the terrace bar but pay for your drinks and you can order any food up there which is very nice but again have to pay extra for it . The rooms we had were ok beds not comfy and my daughter asked for 3 single beds in the room for her and older daughters but they only allowed 2 singles and one hard small sofa bed . There are family club rooms if you want two rooms for families . The location of the hotel is lovely beach outside the hotel and the strip 2.50 in a taxi we went to the Atlantis bar were the waiter dance and great for families and lots of other bars and shops galore on the strip .the Pools are the hotel are lovely but we Def didn't get our monies worth on the all Inc deal aving to buy food every day for us 7 .the food was a real let down and holiday cost us twice as much .We wouldn't stay here again sorry
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and really enjoyed our holiday. The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and there was always something to enjoy. A special mention has to go to Biray from the entertainment team. His energy, friendliness and enthusiasm were amazing, and he always made sure everyone was having a good time. He went above and beyond to make people feel included and entertained, and he definitely made our stay even more memorable. I’d also like to mention Fayik at reception, who was always so friendly, welcoming and helpful whenever we saw him. His warm and positive attitude really stood out and made us feel well looked after throughout our stay. Thank you to the whole team for making our holiday so enjoyable. We would happily come back again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Just arrived for third year for anniversary. Just wanted to say a massive thanks to Anne, customers service manager. Ask for her help and as usual she went above and beyond. Would not be the same without her.
