Bodrum Beach Resort

We have had a wonderful time at BBR with lots of Choice for breakfast and excellent service around the pool from Ibrahim and his team. His welcoming nature and sense of humour was awesome. It will be a holiday we never forget ! There are a couple of things that do need to be mentioned though.

1. The Room fridge does not stay on when you take the card out which we wasn’t aware of and we had milk and chocolate in the fridge that quickly spoiled. When you are staying Bed and breakfast you should really have a fully working fridge all of the time.
2. The food around the pool bar was reasonably priced for food and some soft drinks however. Efes was 400tl which was double everywhere else it meant we didn’t buy any round the pool. Also the ice creams were very expensive compared to else where and with 3 children it got expensive quickly . Apart from that it was awesome with the added benefit of the water slides it kept the children entertained for hours .

We’ve just returned home from our 8th stay at Bodrum Beach Resort Hotel (since 2023), and there’s a reason we keep coming back twice every year. Every time we visit, the hotel gets even better, but what truly makes this place so special is the incredible staff.

Every single member of the team works so hard to make guests feel welcome, relaxed and looked after from the moment they arrive. They genuinely care about making your holiday the best it can.

A special thank you goes to Bahadır, who checks in with us every day to make sure everything is perfect and that we’re enjoying our stay. Ilkay is always so friendly, helpful and welcoming, making sure we have everything we need from day one. Ibrahim, who manages the pool area, does an amazing job keeping everything running smoothly while always taking the time to chat with guests and ensure everyone is well looked after throughout the day. And finally, Ardem, who we’ve known since our very first visit. He works across breakfast, the pool and the bar, is always smiling, friendly and brilliant with the children.

The hotel itself is great. The rooms are always clean, the breakfast offers a good selection (it gets busiest between 9:30 and 10:00), and the food served around the pool is delicious and very reasonably priced. The pool has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and, as a parent, one of my favourite things is that you can relax on your sunbed while still being able to see your children wherever they are in the pool area. The slides are a huge hit too, they are usually on 11-1pm and 3-5pm in July. Slightly shorter times earlier in the year.

The location is excellent too. It’s just a short walk to the shops, bars and restaurants in Gumbet, with easy access by taxi or bus to both Bitez and Bodrum. There are also markets just behind the hotel near the beach, and the airport transfer is usually only around 30–40 minutes, depending on the number of drop-offs.

I honestly can’t recommend Bodrum Beach Resort Hotel enough. We return twice a year for a reason, and over the years we’ve met so many other guests who do exactly the same. Once you’ve stayed here, it’s easy to understand why so many people keep coming back.
