- Tuntas Beach Hotel Altinkum

Located next to a small beach to one end of the resort town of Altinkum, there are shops, café bars and restaurants close by, though the centre of resort is only a 10-15 minute walk away. This hotel comprises a total of 134 rooms and features a lobby lounge with 24-hour reception, an outdoor pool and sun-bathing terrace. Dining options include a snack bar and an air-conditioned restaurant as well as a terrace bar. Guests might also wish to visit the magnificent Temple of Apollo, which is a just 15-minute journey by public transport.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Location was ok, about 30min walk from main seafront. The atmosphere around the hotel was relaxed although people were reserving sun loungers the night before and very bargy at lunch and dinner. Food wasn't great, nearly the same every night. Was told water was provided in the room everyday but this did not happen. Good size rooms with shower, water was only Luke warm and did not drain very well.
Great location, nice beach and smallish pool, the reception staff are very friendly and helpful, but I found most of the other staff to be quite miserable. The WiFi is rubbish, and if you are English, you will be completely outnumbered by locals. I think we were only 2 English families there. The food is very much the same, but if you like salad, the salad bar is very good. The hot food isn’t even hot, it’s look warm. We travel a lot and I personally wouldn’t come back to this hotel.
The hotel was really nice, everything was very clean, the only negative thing was that the WI-Fi connection was very bad in the rooms. The food was also very good.
Location is brilliant nd right next to the sea lovely beach. Rooms basic beds are very hard shower is good. Food not brilliant but we managed to find something to eat everyday. Staff lovely and cleaners came in nearly everyday. Entertainment wasn’t for us but it was on for an hour or so. Pool very small didn’t use it so can’t comment on heat of it but beach is right outside. Booked 2 trips one on ferry to cos that was great day booked through rep at hotel.
The hotel is very nice and the staff are really friendly and helpful, the only negative about the hotel is that the floors are not easy to access as every floor you have to climb stairs especially if you have a room facing the sea. When you leave the reception it doesn’t matter what way you go you will have some stairs to climb or go down. The entertainment is pretty disappointing, during the day you have some music that I’ve never heard before and in the evening all we had was some gents playing a guitar and singing but every song was a Turkish song🥴 I know I am in turkey but in the end even the Turkish holiday makers weren’t clapping. Me being a Brit I would say the percentage of English tourists is about 10% as the hotel is more geared up and attracts more Turkish tourists than any other.
