Who are we? A Scandinavian family; Mom, dad, our two kids (2 and 4 years old) and grandmother. For us this is just paradise!

In details:
We really appreciated the beautiful and lush environment of well kept gardens with palm trees, banana plants, Bougan villa flowers and a very tasteful touch to everything, every detail. Rustic, Mediterranian, Ottoman and Greek style, in a perfect mix. The outlook of the Didim Marina is just breath taking!
The food is just amazing! We could not believe it was all included, even the A La Carte Meny. Normally fish and sea food is not included but we we were spoilt with the most amazing fresh grilled fish (even tuna filets and sea schrimps!) night after night. Where was also a great selection of vegan, vegetarian food which is normally hard to find among the more common selection of BBQ, meat and chicken selection. It is a great selection of cheese and fresh baked bread and pasteries that looked amazing to both the eye and the tastebuds.
Icecream for the kids and kids meny (french fries, chicken nuggets etc)
The pools had something to offer everybody, mini kids pools with elephant slides and water sprinkles, bigger slides for order kids/teenagers, relaxing infinity pool for adults only and family pools aswell. And a lovely beach!
The bars had an amazing sortiment of cocktails and drinks, even imported expensive ones, also all included, even the Champagne and colorful cocktails for kids. Yüksel, Hakan and the bartenders in the bar were very skilled with making cocktails!
The staff at the hotel was very professional, hard working, well dressed and happy to assist every guest with a smile on their lips. Absolutelly no hazzling, just relaxing customer meetings.
There was a great selection of activities, animations, acrobatic shows, motorcycle shows and an amazing kids club/mini club!! Kids club staff were truely engaged in the children and put up great shows and mini disco fun.
For younger people here was a great selection of music, water sports, surfing and adrenaline activities aswell.
There were daily yoga lessons included and the yoga teacher was the most friendly, lovely person, allways keen to adjust the lessons to different levels and great with guest relationships aswell, informing the guests at the hotel about the variety of entertainment. Here is also a peaceful wellness center, hair cut, nail saloon and minimarket.
We allways felt very safe, with the security personel at the hotel.
Unlike most 5 star hotels Laur hotel is not an isolated island in the middle of nowhere, it is just 15 minuter walk to Altinkum beach or the Marina. 5-10 minuter walk to the amusementpark/tivoli/Luna park.
It is very hard to find a single thing to impove, but it could have been a daily activity information at the reception, but we did not miss any occasion since the staff was very keen to inform every guest about the daily activities in a more personal way.
We find it strange not more Scandinavian Guests discovered this paradise yet since it is so tasteful and has so much to offer families, couples, youth and retired.
We have been to many different parts of Türkiye, even had an apartment in Didim. We tried different 5 star hotels since that, but Laur hotels is the best hotel without comparison!
We will definetelly come back!

The hotel grounds are beautiful and everything looks nice. However, the service from the staff could be better. The food and alcohol are of a low standard.
