Altinersan Hotel had major renovation. In all rooms bathrooms are newly tiled and furnished with shower cubicles,free wifi connectivity in Rooms and all areas is improved. Room furniture and beds are replaced. Hot water system fully replaced. New Boilers, new panels and new pressesure tanks installed. Hotel is Centrally located in a side street 150 m away from the main beach. This holiday hotel is just a few minutes away from a spectacular sandy beach. Shops, restaurants and bars are in the surroundings, the resort centre of Altinkum is just 5 minutes away. The Temple of Apollo is within a 10-minute drive, other famous attractions such as Ephesus, Miletus, Didyma or Hierapolis are within easy reach. The international airport of Milas-Bodrum is about 65 km away.

Happy with what we got
The Altinersan is clean and the staff are unobtrusive. Turkish Breakfast is in with the price. The rooms are not big but are adequate. Strangely for Turkey, the shower is quite large and hot water seems plentiful! We didn't spend much time in the hotel as we were out most days but were largely happy with what we got.
Negative points: the covers on the beds were harsh and no sheet; we had a kettle but no cups or tea spoons. Hand soap was provided and very small bottles of shower gel which we did not use.
The location was good and convenient for the sea front with a small supermarket stocking most things you would need almost opposite. There was a small fridge without an ice compartment. The balcony had an airer (could have done with a clean) and table chairs. Air conditioning for two weeks cost £140. WiFi was free - but we found would disconnect quite often on the balcony.

Altinersan hotel
Altinersan is a fantastic hotel. Staff can’t do enough for you Breakfast is good Turkish but boiled eggs and menu is very well priced. Rooms cleaned every day Going back in August for another 2 weeks well worth the price

Transfer drop off
Good value hotel large shower hot water all day staff very good breakfast ok hotel in centre of Didim.PROBLEM mini bus drop off long way off Hotel hard to drag suitcase on rough road have seen other mini bus drop of outside of hotel example Iona transfer plenty of room for bus to park Jet 2 TAKE NOTICE we have cancelled our transfer back to airport

Stan and Jo review
We had a fabulous couple of days in September at the Altinersan Hotel and it's our 3rd stay for a short break. For us, the friendly proprietor Yumit and extremely pleasant wife, family and team and the lovely clean environment and delicious breakfast and lunches are just perfect. We will stay again and I would write more positives but want to be able to have availability. Thank you Team Altinersan:) just perfect and so relaxing.
