An Unforgettable Getaway!
We recently returned from a wonderful stay at this hotel, and we couldn’t have asked for a better holiday experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always eager to help with a smile. The room was clean and provided a comfortable retreat throughout our trip. One of the biggest highlights was definitely the food—it was exceptionally good with fantastic variety every day and plenty of local cuisine to try. The views are simply breathtaking. There are plenty of different shared spaces around the resort where you can sit back, relax, and take in the beautiful surroundings. We spent long, glorious days basking in the sun on the seafront, enjoying the soothing atmosphere and crystal-clear scenery. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with outstanding hospitality, delicious food, and unforgettable ocean views, this is the place to be. We can't wait to return!

Hotel located right on a private beach (with a water taxi service to the center of Bodrum). Friendly and helpful staff (a big thank you to Pelin 🙂 – excellent service!). Outstanding food (there’s something for everyone); the waiters are attentive, helpful, and always prompt.
The poolside and beach bars are fantastic.
The rooms are clean and equipped with a minibar, safe, TV, Wi-Fi, and a kettle with a coffee/tea set. The bathroom is clean, spacious, and stocked with toiletries. The spa area, hammam, and massages are excellent. The pool and beach areas are great, with plenty of sun loungers available. 100% satisfied—we will definitely be back!
Wonderful stay with outstanding service
I had a wonderful holiday at Agaya Bodrum. What stood out most was the staff: everyone was friendly, attentive and genuinely caring. Every request was handled quickly and with a smile, which made the stay completely stress-free. The all-inclusive experience was great and I felt truly looked after from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I hope to come back next year!
Good but not great
This hotel did not live up to my expectations. The food was ok but nothing like the reviews describe. Talking to other guests, the food quality had tailed off, so It seems they are winding down to end of season. Staff are very friendly and attentive, but the service itself is hit and miss. Some bar staff can mix a great cocktail whilst others need to keep to the recipes. Cleanliness was my biggest concern. Not in the restaurants or communal areas, but rooms. They are not cleaned well and outside areas are lacking. The pool was a bit grubby. Lots of debris on the bottom deep end looked like it has been there a long time. Overflow grills around the pool are black with grime. Generally areas are presented well, but beneath the immediate surface there is maintenance needed in many places. The gym needs a complete equipment refit, most of it is broken and it looks like the gym is rarely cleaned. Overall I wouldn't say don't come here, far from it, we had a nice few days, but 4* plus it isn't, not at the end of the season anyway.

For a fly and flop its great
Just returned from a two week stay at the Agaya as a party of 4, 2 x 2 couples. I didn’t book sea view rooms which I should of in hindsight as our rooms faced a corridor with more rooms on the facing side which made the rooms really dark (room 215), there are a lot of stairs to navigate so if you are less mobile it could be an issue, however there are lifts. Staff in the restaurants were very pleasant and very accommodating with Naz going above and beyond in the al a carte.
PROS:
- Always managed to get a pool bed without having to be up at ridiculous o’clock
- Spa was amazing
- Gym was very good
- Patisserie & coffee was very good
- A la carte – garlic prawns were stunning
- Cocktails were good
- Views from the terrace across the bay were beautiful – sunrise was lovely
- Water taxi over to Bodrum centre (4 euro p/p one-way) – make sure you give the right money or he thinks the change is tip for him!
- 20 minute walk into town downhill – taxi back cost roughly 5 euros
- Water / soft drinks topped up in fridge every other day
- Always fresh beach towels to take and as many as you wish each day
- Pool waiter was extremely attentive, bringing us our regular drinks without asking and you can order from a QR code so no need to leave your sunbed at the pool or the beach
- View of the castle
CONS:
- Asked to upgrade our room on arrival but nothing available apparently
- Evening entertainment not so great, started at 10pm through to midnight.
- Neighbouring entertainment was very loud
- Rooms are dated and in needs of some TLC
- Toaster at breakfast needs adjusting – 5 x through the toaster was a joke! Dials had been removed for some reason
- Firestick didn’t work in TV (issue for the husband – certainly not me!)
- Wet swim gear is on a hanger outside your front door for everyone to walk past
- Music at the pool bar was so repetitive, I think they only had 1 playlist
- The amount of cats and kittens looking for food
- No beach, ladder from walkway down to the water which appeared very stoney
Once you have done the castle and the shops there really wasn’t much else to do (2 of our party doesn’t like boats!) so it was very much a relaxing and doing not much kind of a holiday which for me was a bit of a struggle. The hotel was genuinely nice, and the customer service was excellent. Would I go back – probably not as there wasn’t much going at the hotel or in the area for my liking.
