Natur Hotel

There is something to it, in my opinion the hotel is not three stars. The equipment is older. The hotel has a swimming pool. The food is excellent. The garden is fascinating, there are hotel cats running around the hotel.

I recently stayed at Natur Garden Hotel in Turkey on an all-inclusive package, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've had. Considering the price we paid, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, food, and customer service.

Check-in itself was fine, but the women in our group were told not to miss a "mandatory meeting" the following morning. We later discovered this was simply a sales presentation for excursions. When we asked the reception about it afterwards, they acted as though they knew nothing about it, which felt misleading.

When we entered our room, we found cockroaches in the bathroom. Throughout our stay, the room was never cleaned properly. The shower had mould, the bathroom remained dirty, the towels were stained, and the minibar was empty despite being told it would be stocked. There wasn't even a kettle in the room.

The food was another major disappointment. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were served buffet-style. However, there was very little variety, and if you aren't Russian, you may struggle to find meals that suit your tastes, and the menu was more catered to them. Much of the food and desserts were left uncovered, with flies landing on them throughout service. The food was often cold, and breakfast choices were very limited. On some mornings, there weren't even eggs available, and there was no cereal or yoghurt for children. Having chips (fries) for breakfast as one of the main options was surprising.

The "all-inclusive" drinks were also extremely limited. The only alcoholic options included basic drinks like rum and cola or wine. Cocktails were not included and had to be paid for separately, which isn't what most people expect from an all-inclusive holiday.

Customer service was disappointing. The manager appeared friendly and attentive towards other guests, but rarely acknowledged us, which made us feel unwelcome. Communication was also difficult because most staff spoke very little English or no English at all.

The hotel also advertises access to a private beach, but this was not our experience during our stay.

As a Black guest, I personally felt that I was treated differently from many of the other guests. The difference in how staff interacted with us left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Overall, this hotel did not deliver the quality or service that was advertised. Poor cleanliness, disappointing food, limited all-inclusive options, and an unwelcoming atmosphere made this a holiday I would not repeat.

I would not recommend Natur Garden Hotel, and I would certainly not stay here again.
