Eftalia Ocean Resort and Spa

Staff super friendly, clean hotel....NOT all inclusive, worst hotel we have ever been too and spent almost half of what we paid to stay there! No idea creams or snacks for kids or adults unless its between 12 and 2. Slides only open at strict times. This place is NOT all inclusive...do not be fooled. We had a swim up room which we spent most of the time in as the main pool was like a cattle market, beds so close together and allowing people to put towels down at silly o'clock. The room was the best part about it. Definitely will not be going back, been to alot better places for the cost with my family.

So we arrived Monday evening they asked us if we want to upgrade to a swim up room £500 or £50 for a pool view! We paid the £50 which should never of been a charge! The next day we went down to the pool side my daughter went to get some chips charged her £5! Absolute disgrace! Went for a cocktail £9 ! On an all inclusive resort this is disgusting! And what makes it worse is that you have people going round the pool trying to sell stuff!!! So on the evening we went to look for the entertainment couldn’t find it anywhere as none of the staff understood the word “entertainment” seen as though it’s 90 percent English their language barrier is poor!!! So we eventually found the entertainment and it starts at 21:00 hours!!! When family have young children why the hell put it on at that time? I couldn’t catch my breath! The beer we can drink for free was awful it was reused from the spillages underneath the tray where the excess beer goes! The vodka awful!! I was on the toilet all day everyday with belly pains and the runs. I had to stick to eating jacket potatoe for the remainder 4 days! The day before we left I had a bad case of food poisoning! I’ve had to go to hospital this morning in the uk! That’s how bad it is! The pool is so small for the amount of people there! Oh and they shut the pool for the day for apparently someone pooping in the pool! Which nobody seen! Apparently they do it often! So we sat in the blazing sun all day under a brolly at time all because they must be short staffed! For kids and adults the day times are poor the staff are moody 24/7 they do one bit of exercise in the morning and that’s awful!

I have never written a review in my life as I am not a Karen but trust me do not ever book this hotel!!!
