YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS IF YOU STAYED HERE ....
THE WORST HOLIDAY EVER!!
All I can say is thank the Lord for the Citizens Advice Bureau. We looked at the travel app and liked what was described and visited this resort, if you want to call it that for our wedding anniversary.
I concur with all the negative reviews about this place and to all the negative reviewers if you did complain to management and your tour operator whilst on resort and have proof of this, check out "The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. The C.A.B told me about it!
I don't like to have money taken from me under false pretences and wrote the following, please feel free to copy and paste, just change the details!
To whom it may concern,
I have returned from a holiday at The Sunrise Queen Resort Hotel, NO 7 SULEYMAN DEMIREL BLV. MANAVGAT, SIDE MAH, ANTALYA, TURKEY which was most disappointing. I went with my wife.
Please find below a list of my complaints:
- Inadequate fire protection
- Inadequate room security
- Unsafe electrical points 4. Room décor not as advertised
- Locations advertised not available
- Services advertised not available
We contacted you on 3rd September 2024 whilst on resort, with our grievances but you were unable to resolve the matter, and we were advised that as we had raised these issues whilst on site without resolution to now complain upon our return home.
Under The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 you have a responsibility to provide all the elements of the package contracted for as they were described. We are legally entitled to receive compensation from you for loss of value, consequential losses and for the disappointment and loss of enjoyment we suffered.
As you failed to provide us with the holiday we booked we are seeking a full refund for the accommodation value associated with this package which is £2464:00 and compensation of £1000 for the problems we encountered, for the distress and disappointment we suffered.
In absence of a full response within 14 days, I reserve the right to issue and serve proceedings without further notice.
I reserve all my rights, arising out of or in connection with the matters stated above.

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM CUSTOMER SERVICES AND WE SETTLED FOR A REFUND OF £2464:00 IN FULL & FINAL SETTLEMENT.....AND WAS TOLD THIS HOTEL HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THEIR 2025 BROSHURE......result!!!

Don’t go
It should stay closed. Not the advertised hotel. Reception staff rude made false promises. Room tired. No i e. Ream at all on site. Kept running out of drinks. Holes in ceilings everywhere water dripping o to corridors. Algae on side of pools. Most services advertised were shut and just building sites. Astonishing bad.😬😔
Parrot abandoned here!!!
Why is there a parrot abandoned behind bars at this hotel? With hardly any water or food? Dirty should I say also cage is filthy!
Lovely hotel
This hotel is outstanding with many la carte restaurants you do not need to book just walk in food is so much choice in the buffet staff are warm and friendly rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels beach shuttle is operated 9 am 1230 and 1 pm to 6 pm where you will find beach bar restaurant free umbrellas life saver guard the hotel is right opposite shops and easy access to side centres via Dolmus free tea and coffee in room free mini bar with choice of drinks daily in room
Awful don't go it's terrible.
The hotel was awful no orange juice most days no ice no ice cream no English tea I had to buy some. Towels nor changed lifts not working drink served in plastic cups this is not 5 star hotel but price is. Food cold and boring.
