Modernly furnished and decorated throughout, the guest rooms are decorated in muted tones and include a double and single bed for guests' comfort.

Fantastic holiday
I honestly can’t not fault this hotel, everything and everyone were perfect! The animation team were brilliant throughout the day/night and work so hard to make sure you have the best time. Rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels provided, food and drink were also good. I would definitely return to this hotel again, just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the staff who work long hours every day to make your holiday the best! Until next time!
A wonderful stay from start to finish
We’ve had a fantastic stay at Port River Hotel & Spa and would definitely recommend it.
The hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean throughout. Our room was comfortable and cleaned every day, with the minibar regularly restocked. Everyone we came across was friendly and welcoming.
One thing we really appreciated was that there was never any stress about finding a sunbed around the pool. Even if we came down later in the morning, we were always able to find somewhere to sit without having to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve beds, which made the holiday much more relaxing.
The private beach was another highlight. It’s just a short walk from the hotel, although there’s also a shuttle if you prefer. The beach is clean, well looked after and has plenty of sunbeds available. The sea was lovely to swim in, and there was a beach bar where you could enjoy drinks and snacks throughout the day without having to return to the hotel.
There was a good variety of food, and we always found something to enjoy. The snack bars and drinks throughout the day were also excellent, so there was always something available if you felt hungry.
A special mention has to go to Mario and the rest of the entertainment team. They were absolutely brilliant with guests of all ages, always smiling, full of energy and never pushy. They made a real effort to get people involved in activities while respecting those who just wanted to relax. Their enthusiasm and friendliness created such a lovely atmosphere around the pool and in the evening, and they really are a credit to the hotel.
Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and felt the hotel offered excellent value for money. We’d happily return in the future. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable!
Not a 5* hotel
Our stay was disappointing overall. The reception staff were not particularly welcoming, the waiters were inattentive, and there were flies around the food as well as mosquitoes throughout the property. We were also surprised that no iron was available. In addition, although the hotel was aware that we are Muslim, a bottle of wine was sent for my husband’s birthday, which did not reflect sufficient consideration for our religious beliefs. The representatives from the excursion company were also rather persistent. Overall, the service was below expectations and attention to detail was lacking. We would not choose to stay here again. In our view, this hotel does not meet five-star standards and is closer to a three- or four-star property.
A nice Hotel would go again at some point
Got at the hotel latish evening went to book in and the receptionist told us go and eat first the book in...nice thought..The staff during our stay we very polite rooms cleaned everyday and fridge stocked up with drinks... Food not for everyone but plenty to eat and drink ice coffee ice cream and water stocked up so no problems there grandson more than happy Excursions where ok some an hour away but bottled water available to take with you plus fruit as well.. The only we were disappointed with is the Shopping at Side the shop was related to the rep paid twice as much as we should have. Took the bus which is only a couple of pounds 2 and 11 to get there 10 back which drops you outside the Hotel. Green canyon worth a visit and if you go on the quad excursion take some old clothes as they will get dirty..... all in all a great holiday

FAKE 5 STAR HOTEL 3 AT ITS BEST
this is not a 5 star hotel food was repetitive no pork was served while we was there also cleaners just walk in you could not lock the door so we had to barricade with the chairs the astonishingly watched the cleaner fight to get in we ran out of soap in the dispensers and the cleaner would not replace unless a tip was given shame really as she was a nice lady the hotel gave my wifes mobile number to the reps who sell the trips and would not stop pestering her she had to barr them in the end but the hotel staff should not have given personnel information out i have complained about this to the owners of the hotel will not return we have lots of video and photos to verify all our claims along with the harassment from the trip reps who sit around the hotel lobby
