In a superb location between Titreyen Lake and the turquoise coloured Manavgat River on Turkey's Mediterranean Coast, this luxurious, family-friendly hotel is well placed for exploring the many attractions in the area such as Manavgat Waterfalls and the magnificent Roman & Hellenistic ruins at Side 8 km away. Just a short distance to the beach, the property features a range of activities suitable for most ages with activities for those seeking entertainment and sport as well as more relaxing pastimes such as a rejuvenating massage and hammam in the spa centre. Modernly furnished and decorated throughout, the guest rooms are decorated in muted tones and include a double and single bed for guests' comfort.
Im especially happy with the staff and port river hotel is amazing best hotel ive stayed in by far pool amazing and the hotel has its own beach its brilliant recommend
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well organized. We truly enjoyed our holiday and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We would love to come back again
We stayed at this hotel from the 30th until the 6th September. 6 people 4 adults and 2 children. I hate to be negative but.. This hotel isn't great for English people....... food was Okay we managed to find something every day and most of it was lovely odd bits of chicken was dry and fish full of bones fyi. (I will note all 6 in our group did end up with diarrhea throughout the holiday) not sure if this was food or the aircon.
Drinks was awful the cocktails was made with cordial fruit juice none tasted nice at all beers was good though (given in small plastic cups lol so you will be constantly going bar does help get your steps in which is a bonus ) the entertainment and food is more aimed towards eastern Europeans that all push in front of cues which wasn't challenged, they are miserable and rude constantly staring as English people like they hated us there was maybe 10 English families in total. Suppose can't blame the hotel for this though .
Only one bar around the massive pool which is used for the entertainment stage it is quite a bit of distance from where you are seated. So you end up missing most of the entertainment if you need a drink mid way through. They only had one act on that lasted around 1 hour from 9pm (maybe we have been spoilt at previous hotels).
Most of the staff are dismissive unless you tipped them, although I would say for the size of hotel there should have been more staff as it took a while for tables to be cleared. You do get a lot of mithering from bird man and tattoo man.
Entertainment at the stage finished at 10pm and then everyone cleared out and went to the terrace where they played eastern European music I heard 1 English song on the very last night. We just took our speaker down and listened to our own music. Night club onsite was also just Eastern European music maybe the hotel should alternate music nights so you know when they are playing music you know.
Rooms was great we had a family room which was massive and 2 bathrooms this was a bonus and the mini bar is stocked each day with real bottles of coke and fanta.
Pools were good with some good big slides although they are only on from 10-12 and 2-5 sometimes 10-15 mins before they was shut. Beach was big and fun with bars you can use your all inclusive.
In a nutshell if you are English and happy with lack of entertainment and cocktails this hotel will be suffice for you hope this review will help people.
P.S don't book your excursions through the rep at the hotel if you walk 10-15 minutes to the right of the hotel is a little shack next to a market that is 10 euro pp per excursions hope this saves you some money.
We made the most of this holiday by doing lots of activities I don't think i will be visiting Turkey in a hurry, as it seems to have out priced its self.
great atmosphere, wonderful food
Upon arrival was well impressed was greeted by staff member who took our cases into lovely reception area.I payed extra for a seaview but was allocated room 4205 with three beds in one room for me my husband and adult son, we were overlooking the lovely pool area and you can see the pirate ships from room, only downside was the noisy music and you heard people chattering through night. We arrived late at night and was impressed we got pizza made at snack bar in the wee hours, also had a lovely hot chocolate.Welcome meeting next day we booked a trip to Green canyon and zoo(be prepared to get soaked on these buses),Land of legends and Manavgat market (which unfortunately couldn’t make as ended up Ill) booked a Turkish bath and massages €450 for 3 of us for three separate massages, again I missed out on one due to ill health, unfortunately had breakfast and had eaten cold egg so unsure if got food poisoning as was bedded for near three days with sickness and diarrhoea (wasn’t the only person to have this),hotel was beautiful, handy having the spa and some shops on site as hotel itself was a good bit away from anything.cant complain for what we paid but was unimpressed with the restaurant food thinking we’d booked a better hotel.Maid was in every day and topped up our fridge, only English tv channels were two kids ones or Al Jazeera English. My son had his tshirt taken from pool area went to reception to be told we will inform housekeeping and if they find it will take it to your room. All in all nice break if you want somewhere away from hustle and bustle
