This hotel is situated on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Side, Turkey. The hotel is located near many of the attractions that draw visitors to the area. There is a beach within walking distance of the hotel. This property is approximately 11 km from Side, the ancient city also known for its golden-sand beaches and within 9 km of the city of Manavgat. This region is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful parts of the country, situated near to the sea and golden sandy beaches.

Salmonella and disappointing for a "4/5 star" all-inclusive — positive is great entertainment team.
We spent over £7,300 on 14 nights all-inclusive at Turan Prince World with TUI, booked as a Double Room with Gardenside and Balcony for our family of four. While our children had a wonderful time thanks to the entertainment team, the overall experience did not come close to matching what we've had with TUI at 4/5 star properties over the last 10 years and we wouldn't return or recommend it.
The room specification we booked was “technically” correct, but nowhere does TUI make clear how small the actual room and balcony are. Our balcony fit only two chairs (just!) a clear sign the room isn't set up for four people despite being sold as such. Our daughter's "sofa bed" was a pulled-out armchair (not a sofa bed). When we asked to change it, we were given a camp bed that collapsed when sat on, and had to request a third bed before finally getting something usable. Not the start we wanted after such a big spend. When we raised this the morning after we landed (already late in), we were simply told we could upgrade to a bigger room for £160/night extra. The camp bed then cuts you off from using the desk / vanity desk so you need to pull it out each time and slide across the double bed to get to the desk and stool to use (I used for hair and make up as the only place to sit with electrical points). The ‘wardrobe’ was an open rail with no doors that my clothes dragged on the floor as the space wasn’t high enough for dresses (I’m 5”5) We tried to spend as least time in the room as possible. Friends we made had complained and been moved (due to mould and damp issues) we complained and were told we could pay £160 a night to “upgrade”. I didn’t want to upgrade, I just wanted a room large enough for 4 people. The hotel does have villas and duplex and select room types at a premium price, the villas are probably where the 4 star rating comes into effect but for the price paid you would assume the standard of room would be adequate without needing to pay an additional £2,240 for a comfortable stay. It would not have been worth nearly 10k for a holiday.
The not complimentary à la carte restaurants are advertised by Tui in a way that reads as fully included when you are booking the holiday — it's only if you scroll right down the listing that you discover they're chargeable. The Tui rep on site told us this was new this year and that most guests raise the same complaint. We were separately offered a complimentary meal at the Asian restaurant due to repeated fire alarms going off, but at checkout — already unwell and trying to travel home — we were told we owed for that meal and it wasn’t until I was able to produce a WhatsApp message from guest relations and the TUI rep to prove otherwise. Not the checkout experience you want.
Guest relations and front desk gave us three different answers about the gym opening time (told 8am and 9am; the door itself said 6am) and guest relations didn't know where the gym was located and needed to ask someone?! The gym itself was well-equipped, though small children were sometimes brought in by other guests despite the posted age restriction.
The food was generally okay, and the effort from the kitchen and restaurant staff was clear and appreciated but unfortunately I've come home diagnosed with salmonella, having spent a full day on my return between the GP and hospital, and am now unable to work until this subsides. Which can take 7-14 days! So the environmental health will be notified and be in touch with me as they need to log all cases. Not what you want after a holiday. My children have also come home with multiple verrucas…
The entertainment team by the aqua park were fantastic — genuinely made the holiday for our children, who loved all the activities and slides and evening shows etc. They were all great, friendly, kept us in positive moods and are a credit to the hotel who are lucky to have them.
Overall, we made the best of it as a family, but for the price paid, this doesn't meet 4/5 star expectations and we wouldn't book again. I have made an official complaint to Tui and would advise you to book a different hotel if travelling to Turkey.

Very disappointing experience – first aid and room problems
I am currently staying at Club Hotel Turan Prince World with my family, and unfortunately we have had a very disappointing experience.
Tonight, at around 8 PM, dust got into my son’s eye while we were inside the hotel. We tried to rinse his eye with water, but he was still in pain. I went to reception to ask for basic first aid. Reception sent me to the hotel’s Guest Relations/Customer Relations department.
There I spoke with Tatiana, who spoke Russian. I explained that dust had entered my son’s eye, that he was in pain, and that I only needed something suitable to rinse his eye, such as sterile saline or an eye-wash solution.
I was told that they did not have anything suitable for this situation in their first-aid supplies. They only had basic items such as plasters/bandages. I was also told that the first-aid kit was incomplete and that I should go to a pharmacy outside the hotel to buy what was needed.
This is particularly concerning because this involved my child. I was not asking for medication or complicated medical treatment — just basic first aid to rinse his eye after dust entered it. The fact that the hotel acknowledged that its first-aid supplies were incomplete and then sent us outside to a pharmacy was very disappointing.
There is also an issue with our accommodation. We are staying in a duplex room, but the room has two bathrooms and one of them is closed/unavailable, meaning that our family effectively has only one functioning bathroom. This is a significant inconvenience in a family room and is not what we expected from a duplex accommodation.
For a large family resort, especially one with many children, I would expect proper first-aid supplies to be available and the accommodation to be fully functional.
This is not about the cost of a small bottle of saline. It is about guest safety, first-aid preparedness, and receiving the accommodation and facilities that guests are paying for.
I hope management takes these issues seriously and investigates both the incomplete first-aid supplies and the unavailable bathroom.
Amazing entertainment focused family resort
I went to Club Turan Prince with my husband and 3 children. Our stay was amazing. The hotel is beautiful, clean and has lovely big grounds. There were multiple pools and a big well equipped aquapark. There was also a little funfair that ran in the evening and really good daily entertainment.
The location is ok. There are shops close by, you can get anything you need without having to walk more than 5 minutes. The only thing i would say is that its a bit far from sightseeing areas, but if you're looking to just stay in a lovely resort, its perfect.
The food was really good. There was alot of variety, something for everyone. There was always food available, 24 hours a day. They had a good selection of drinks in the room aswell which were replenished free of charge.
We stayed in the duplex family room. It was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. The only thing i would say that could be changed is that i think the single beds for kids should be upstairs in the duplex and the larger bed for parents downstairs. I had no issues whatsoever but with the kids sleeping on the lower level with access to the balcony and the main room door.. there could be potential safety concerns
All in all we absolutely loved this hotel and cant wait to be back
Good poisoning
Returned from this holiday on Sunday 30thAUGUST, by Tuesday my husband was admitted to Derriford hospital with Salmonella poisoning!!! Clearly from his last meal at the hotel Saturday as the only thing my husband consumed after that meal was a bottle of water at the airport on way home, now, the hotel itself was lovely , our room was immaculate and most staff were wonderful, barely saw the entertainment team through the day but the evenings they were brilliant. Dont bother with the “zoo” nothing worth seeing or hiking to , more creatures in my back garden to be honest,didnt go to the pools with slides so cant comment on those but the other pools were lovely , we did go down to the sea to swim , wouldnt recommend for children as quite difficult to get out due to slopes-and the pebbles, and quick drop in depth .Huge choice of food if you like hot meals all through your the day, there is salad but even that becomes a tad boring after a while.. not the hotels fault as the choices is immense. We wont be returning due to the fact that it was just too big for us , great for families and large groups. If you want to venture out be sure to tell taxi drivers where you want to go and dont give in to them when they say the shopping centre in mangavat is better, it isn’t, we wanted to go to the harbour….we didnt get there and were to hot. And bothered to argue with them…so be firm with them.
