Barut Hemera

Just got back from a week at Barut Hemera. 2 families with young kids. Very multi national, lots of different nationalities staying. Lovely lovely hotel. Lovely helpful staff, can’t do enough for you. Rooms clean and tidy. Facilities excellent. You can order drinks via a QR code poolside and have them delivered to you , not between 12pm-3pm though. WiFi is a bit sketchy throughout the day, not a big deal though. All the drinks are top branded labels too. Killer darts is a good activity to do each day at 11am and 4pm

If you need to change currency you can’t do onsite, there’s a western union across from the hotel however. A taxi into the old town SIDE is about 10 euros. Euros are pretty much accepted Everyhere.

Overall great time and highly recommend for couples and families.

We have just returned from an incredible stay at the Barut Hemera Side, Antalya and it exceeded every single expectation. This was our first stay at this hotel and it is stunning with beautifully kept lush gardens and a direct path to the gorgeous sandy beach. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff - everyone was so warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. The ultra- all - inclusive concept is top tier; the food at the buffet style restaurant is amazing and the Patisserie is a must visit for afternoon treats. A special thank you to Haul and Gaye in the restaurant and the beach bar staff for their excellent service. Our room was modern spotless, and comfortable. Maybe the only slight fault we could find was the room walls tended to be a little thin ! We loved walking down the coastal promenade into Side old town. All in all, a fantastic hotel and location and we are already planning our return trip.

Our first holiday in Turkey has been nothing short of incredible, and Barut Hemera has exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. We were greeted at the entrance with warm smiles and refreshing drinks while we checked in, which was such a lovely touch after travelling. The level of hospitality throughout our stay has been exceptional. We stayed in one of the swim-up rooms, and it was absolutely worth it. Having the QR code to order drinks directly to our room was such a convenient feature and a really special touch that made our holiday feel even more luxurious. It's little details like this that set Barut Hemera apart. Every single member of staff is friendly, attentive and goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best possible experience. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and it's clear they take real pride in providing outstanding service. A special mention has to go to Ramazan in the Hemera Restaurant, who remembered our drinks every single day without us even having to ask. That level of personal service made us feel so valued and really stood out. The lovely housekeeping ladies who cleaned our room every day also deserve a special mention. They were always so sweet, warm and pleasant, and our room was kept absolutely spotless throughout our stay. Their smiles and friendliness never went unnoticed and added to the wonderful atmosphere of the hotel. As we were celebrating my birthday, the hotel made the occasion even more memorable. We were delighted to receive a surprise delivery of fresh fruit and a bottle of fizz in our room as an early birthday treat, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The team also arranged a beautiful birthday cake for me during our meal at the Italian à la carte restaurant, making the evening feel truly special. We also used the hair salon to have my daughter's hair braided, and not only did they do a fantastic job, but we found the prices to be very reasonable too. The on-site supermarket was very convenient, and the gentleman working there was always so friendly. My son especially loved the complimentary lollipops he handed out each time we visited. If you're looking for lower-priced souvenirs or essentials, there are plenty of shops immediately outside the hotel across the main road, so you have the best of both worlds. The hotel itself is beautiful, impeccably clean, and has everything you could want for a relaxing holiday. The food, facilities and atmosphere have all been outstanding, and we've enjoyed every single minute of our stay. Genuinely, there isn't a single negative point or anything I would change. Everything has been thoughtfully considered, and the whole experience has been faultless from start to finish. I honestly can't recommend Barut Hemera highly enough. If this is what holidays in Turkey are like, we'll definitely be back! Thank you to everyone at Barut Hemera for making our first visit to Turkey so memorable and for giving us memories we'll treasure forever. Wow!
