Business and leisure travellers are sure to enjoy a truly memorable stay at this hotel.
We travelled with our two children (11 and 14) and stayed in a swim up room 1016. This hotel and every single member of staff are absolutely fantastic. Honestly, by far, the best family all inclusive we have ever stayed at.
Pros; Beautiful grounds. Very clean. Rooms modern and have everything you need. Food was varied (only suggestion is to better label gluten free and vegetarian food please!). Cocktails were great and the bar staff came around to take orders from swim up rooms and pool side. The games room man was great fun and very nice to our daughters. Mini bar re stocked daily. Turkish bath and hot stone massage was fab!! The therapist was so lovely too!
Two members of staff really stood out for us; Mustafa on reception and Sefa in the Olive bar. They worked so hard, was so pleasant and helpful!! Please do recognise them as they really made a difference every time we saw them.
This was the first time we had visited Turkey and honestly we could not have asked for any more!
There was only one negative for the whole stay.... the man selling photoshoots outside of the main resturant got very grumpy when we said no thank you......
We’ve just come back from an amazing family holiday at Akra Sorgun, and it’s honestly one of the best all-inclusive resorts we’ve ever stayed at.
We booked the Swim-Up Two Bedroom Family Room (1020), and it was worth every penny. The room was spacious, modern and beautifully finished, with plenty of room for all of us. The complimentary mini bar was restocked daily, there were luxury toiletries, beach towels and even a lovely beach bag to use during our stay. Having direct access to the shared pool from our terrace was a real highlight and made the whole experience feel that bit more luxurious.
The food was outstanding from start to finish. I've stayed at plenty of all-inclusive hotels over the years, but this was easily one of the best buffet restaurants I've experienced. Everything was fresh, well presented and there was so much choice that we never got bored. What really stood out was how well they catered for different dietary requirements as part of their normal service, rather than making it feel like an extra request.
There are also three à la carte restaurants, and each one was excellent. Every meal felt like eating in a proper restaurant rather than part of an all-inclusive package. The settings were beautiful, the views were lovely and the food was consistently fantastic. During the day you can also order from the snack menus at the à la carte restaurants, and we genuinely didn't have a bad meal all week.
The drinks were another pleasant surprise. Premium brands are included, with bottled beers like Carlsberg and Beck's, as well as spirits such as Smirnoff and Absolut Vodka. The cocktails were made fresh to order using branded spirits rather than pre-mixed ingredients, which made a huge difference. Our favourites were the Strawberry Daiquiri, Piña Colada, Pornstar Martini and Espresso Martini.
One thing we really appreciated was the hotel's approach to sunbeds. There was none of the usual early morning rush to reserve them with towels. If towels were left unattended for more than an hour, staff removed them, so there were always plenty of beds available around both the pools and the beach. It made the whole atmosphere much more relaxed.
If you enjoy good coffee, you'll love it here. There are two coffee shops serving freshly made coffees including cappuccinos, lattes and espresso, along with delicious pastries, chocolates and authentic Turkish delight. It became one of our favourite places to stop during the day.
The staff deserve a special mention because they really made our holiday. Every single person we met was friendly, welcoming and happy to help. I use a crutch to get around, and the staff regularly offered assistance without ever making me feel uncomfortable. Whether it was carrying drinks, helping with my food, pulling out a chair or simply checking if I needed anything, their kindness really stood out.
Accessibility is another area where Akra Sorgun excels. It's genuinely one of the most accessible resorts we've visited. Most areas are step-free with ramps or lifts, the swimming pools have chair lifts, and even the beach is accessible thanks to wooden boardwalks and a beach wheelchair. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into making the resort welcoming for everyone.
It's also a fantastic choice for families. There are plenty of facilities and activities for children, but the resort still manages to feel peaceful and luxurious rather than busy or chaotic. It's not often you find a hotel that caters so well for families while also being accessible and maintaining such a high standard throughout.
Overall
Akra Sorgun exceeded our expectations in every way. The beautiful rooms, excellent food, premium drinks, fantastic facilities and genuinely caring staff all made for a brilliant holiday.
If you're looking for a luxury all-inclusive resort in Turkey that delivers on quality, service and accessibility, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
We came home with some wonderful memories and are already looking at dates for our next visit.
This was by far the best holiday I have ever had! It may be an overstatement to some people but from the moment we walked in. We may have had the lows of lots of doctor visits and one overnight stay in the hospital but that couldn’t stop us. The location is considered to be a bit rubbish as it’s a 1 hr and 30 minute drive from the airport.
Thank you to the BLUE guide team for sending us that nice letter to our room (1112)
I still have 1 day left then it’s back home but it has been the best holiday ever
We had an amazing stay at Akra Sorgun, and it became even more special because we celebrated our wedding here.
From the very beginning, the hotel team was incredibly helpful and supportive with every detail of the wedding organization. Everything was well arranged, and we truly felt that the staff cared about making our day perfect.
We would especially like to thank Sid from the Guest Experience team. He went above and beyond to help us, always responded quickly, answered all our questions, and made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made a huge difference, and we are truly grateful.
The hotel itself is beautiful, the pool is big, the kids and adults zones are well separated, the food was excellent, the rooms were huge and comfortable, and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming.
Thank you, Akra Sorgun, for helping us create unforgettable memories. We hope to come back again!
This is an outstanding resort that exceeded my expectations in almost every way. The main restaurant offers an exceptional variety of nutritious and delicious food, with something to suit every taste. Drinks and tasty snacks are available throughout the day, making the all-inclusive experience feel generous and of a very high standard.
The rooms are large, spacious, modern, and beautifully appointed, with high-end furnishings, intuitive room controls, and luxurious bathrooms that make for a truly comfortable stay. The swimming pools were wonderfully warm thanks to the ambient temperature and were kept impeccably clean by the hardworking staff. The beach is pristine and less than a minute's walk away, making it effortless to enjoy both the sea and the pools.
There is an endless choice of activities throughout the day, including golf, football, yoga, fitness sessions, functional training, water polo, and much more. If relaxation is more your style, you can simply unwind by the pool while attentive staff bring your food and drinks directly to your sunbed.
The entertainment team deserves enormous praise for their energy and enthusiasm, catering brilliantly for both adults and children. A particularly special mention goes to the children's team, who clearly invest so much love, care, and dedication into making every child's holiday unforgettable.
The true jewel in the crown, however, is the staff. Every member of the team was attentive, caring, professional, and genuinely enthusiastic. Their warmth and kindness were the highlight of my holiday. My stay had a rocky start as I became unwell shortly after arriving, but I always felt safe, cared for, and looked after with genuine compassion. That level of hospitality is something I will always remember. In my opinion, this makes or breaks the holiday and I feel the pride, gentle enthusiasm and care from the staff is authentic and what makes this resort sparkle amongst other fine contenders on this coast.
If I had one small area for improvement, it would be that some aspects of the evening entertainment could be a little more lively, although Live Victoria and many of the other performers were excellent. You can hear some of the evening entertainment from the rooms if you choose to retire early, but I didn't find it disruptive. Families with young children should have no difficulty if they request a quieter room location.
The resort's app is an excellent idea and offers great convenience, although it can occasionally be a little glitchy. However, the staff are always more than happy to assist, so it never became more than a minor inconvenience.
I don't usually choose all-inclusive holidays, but this resort has genuinely changed my perspective. I wouldn't hesitate to return and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional facilities, fantastic food, endless activities, and, above all, outstanding hospitality.
