Kirman Leodikya Resort

The hotel is very cool, everything was on top, the food is very varied, the territory is clean and very cozy, the staff is excellent!! Special thanks to Alina from guest relations for her help and care for us! We recommend it to everyone!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, with a great variety of fresh and high-quality dishes every day. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Thank you for making our vacation so enjoyable and memorable. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect holiday in Turkey. Five stars are absolutely well deserved!

We really enjoyed our 11-night stay with our 4-year old daughter.

ROOM We had received an upgraded room to a garden wit jacuzzi, due to renovations of the room. We knew this before we arrived.

The room itself was spacious, comfortable bed, nice shower etc. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard we have no complaints at all here. The mini fridge was meant to be replenished daily by a separate staff member, but some days this hasn't been. It wasn't an issue for us, but some people may find that a problem.

About 3-days into our holiday there was a really bad odour coming from the bathroom. It seemed after everyone had showered, a smell appeared. I complained and someone came and the issue seemed sorted. However, the next day it was back. I went to reception and was informed the head of housekeeping was going to attend and should they not rectify the issue we would be moved rooms. When we went into the room you could smell they had worked on the shower and we had no issues the rest of the holiday - can't complain at all, there was an issue and it was sorted swiftly, great service!

Our one slight grumble with the room was the garden with jacuzzi had sun loungers. The garden only had sun from around 9-11.30/12. We presumed that these premium rooms would have sun all day. Now, we had this as a free upgrade but if we paid for the private area so we could sunbathe (which I believe was around £500 extra for the stay) I would have been annoyed. Equally, the vent (from the kitchen) pointed directly into the garden, so it constantly smelt very strongly of food. We didn't use the area very much for these 2 reasons, so it's worth keeping in mind if you're looking to book this standard of room.

HOTEL The hotel and grounds are simply stunning. A grand entrance/lobby, lovely pools, restaurants and bars, a private beach too. Everywhere is clean and tidy, there's staff everywhere who are happy to help. We were so pleased with the hotel it had everything we needed and wanted.

FOOD

We really enjoyed the food selection on offer.

BREAKFAST From freshly cooked omelettes, to croissants, yoghurts to pancakes, there was plenty and all delicious.

We did find breakfast our hardest meal of the day and that's our issue as English people and what we "expect" as staple options. On our first morning we found it strange that things like soup, broccoli, fries, salad etc were all there. Speaking to staff though, we found out it was more geared to Russian and German guests, who's their main bulk of guests (who were eating it, so they clearly know their audience).

One thing we noted was we would expect more fresh fruit for breakfast, where it was a lot of canned fruit it seemed.

LUNCH Lunch was our absolute favourite meal of the day!! Different kebabs, wraps, burgers, salads, pizza and more. All cooked to a high standard and changed daily. Lovely desserts, fruits, waffles etc.

DINNER We loved the dinner selections available in the buffet. Such a wide range of food types and all very tasty,

A LA CARTE This was a bit of a disappointment, unfortunately. The food was nice, but the service just wasn't great. We went twice and the first time we weren't givent the cold starters at the beginning, so everything came out at one. The second time, we waited so long for the food we'd gone past hungry (multiple tables were leaving we waited that long). The food was good, just the service needed to improve.

My one piece of advice is if you have fussy eaters then there isn't a huge selection. For example, there were chips and chicken nuggets every day but that was it, they didn't change it up at all. Luckily we were all not fussy and enjoyed the great selection of foods.

DRINKS The drinks were excellent, we really can't fault them. The alcoholic drinks were premium brands and you can tell. The cocktails were made superbly. The patisserie had excellent coffees.

POOLS The main pool is big and spacious. It's kept clean and enough loungers around so there wasn't any sunbed wars. The only improvement I would suggest is the whole pool is 1.5m deep (barring a small section of 1.2m depth, which is still big!). The pool is more than big enough to have had a gradient or shallower section for children and not so confident of swimming. There is a small paddling pool for children, but it's tiny and stuck in the corner, so not the most pleasant of places for children.

There is a children's splash pool which is usable by Leodikya guests, but is the adjacent hotels. This is excellent!! The splash pool and slides are perfect for all ages, really great.

WATERPARK The adult waterpark is a really great addition to the hotel! With 5 different types of slides, which are all well kept, it's a really fun release from the normal pool days.

BEACH The hotel has a private beach, with sun loungers and shading which are all included within the price. It's a nice beach with a mixture of sand and stone. There's volleyball here and you can book boat trips, parasailing etc.

SURROUNDING AREA There is a shop just outside the hotel which does trips etc. We booked to go to a dolphin show, which was excellent. It's about 15 mins away and cost €25 pp, which included travel. It was worth every penny.

Under a 10 minute walk from the hotel is Alara Grand Bazaar, which has 670 shops and sells a selection of replica clothes, bags, shoes etc. Some are better quality than others so you have to look through. You have to be prepared to haggle too. We thought that Dr Nikos (Block 9) and Delphin Boutique (Block 7 I think) were the best personally. The staff left us to browse, but helped with anything we needed. They also had the best quality products.

ACTIVITIES/ENTERTAINMENT There's activities every day, throughout the day. The entertainment team are always energetic and happy, without being pushy. The activities are the same daily though, so this doesn't change up.

The evening entertainment is good. The only thing we found was the acts were very similar. A lot of acrobatics, jumping, balancing etc. but this was every night. Which becomes a bit boring as there isn't any differences.

STAFF The staff are always around and attentive, they really work tirelessly to ensure the guests have what they need, clean and tidy. The guest relations assistance was fantastic, we had Erkan, who was always at hand and attentive. Nothing was too much for him and he's a credit to the hotel!
