Located in the district of Alara, mid-way between Alanya and Manavgat, this resort-styled hotel is set in lush, spacious gardens leading down to a private beach. Antalya Airport is at 90 km away. Public transport runs within a few metres of the complex, enabling easy access to the many wonderful historical and sight-seeing attractions such as Alanya Castle and the ancient Roman and Hellenistic ruins at Side. Enjoying a laid-back atmosphere, families will feel at home with activities for children available and the convenience of connecting rooms. A range of amenities are provided for guests' entertainment and relaxation, whether sports, animation or a relaxing Turkish bath and massage. The rooms are modern and well equipped providing a comfortable resting place at the end of the day. Each room features a private bathroom.
I’ve always been sceptical about negative reviews because I feel like there are always going to be people who complain about things. However, staying at this hotel has completely changed my view on that.
When we arrived, the hotel was not what we expected at all. For the price you pay, I honestly expected so much more.
The food was horrendous. It was basically the same every day for the entire week, with very little variety, and we quickly got fed up with it. The bathrooms also looked like they really needed to be refreshed and updated.
Unfortunately, some of the staff were also quite rude and made inappropriate comments, and it felt as though they thought this behaviour was completely acceptable, which was very uncomfortable.
On the positive side, the pool by the beach was beautiful. The sun loungers were lovely, and the view of the beach from the pool was incredible. However, even the beach area had its issues. The wooden pier was visibly rotten, which made it quite worrying when walking out over the ocean.
Another major issue was the Wi-Fi. Don’t expect to have Wi-Fi in your room because you won’t. There was a group of people constantly sitting around the lobby and reception area on their phones because that seemed to be the only place where the Wi-Fi worked. For the amount of money you pay to stay here, I think having reliable Wi-Fi in your room is the bare minimum.
And the “balcony” — honestly, I’m not even sure what to call it. It certainly wasn’t what I would consider a proper balcony.
Overall, I feel this hotel could have been so much more, and we left feeling very disappointed. For what we paid, we expected a much higher standard.
If you are considering booking this hotel, I would seriously recommend looking at other options before making your decision. I genuinely wish I had paid more attention to the negative reviews before booking instead of dismissing them. Unfortunately, after staying here myself, I now understand exactly where those reviews were coming from.
I highly recommend this hotel. Clean rooms, wonderful attractions for children and adults. Animators kept the guests entertained - children were thrilled with Kasia, Ola and Julia and the other members of the team
We had a really nice and enjoyable holiday at Club Aqua Plaza. The atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. We were especially happy with the animation team. The activities during the day and the evening entertainment really added something special to our holiday. Their energy and friendliness were great, and they really know how to entertain people. 😊
All three of us got Food poisening on the 18th and still have i was in bed all day on the 18th could not go anywhere, we have stomach cramps, diarrhea, sickness and fever.
Rooms disgusting, undecorated, outdated Beds dirty, sofas look dated and old Mattresses flat and stiff and old.
Ants everywhere on the patio and a wasps nest on the roof by the light of the patio.
Waiters being inappropriate to my daughter asking her if she wants him to be her daddy and has said that a few times.
States that you are a 5 star but you are a 4 star which is false advertising.
Had to go to reception fpr toilet roll as no one was replenishing the bathroom.
Room full of mosquitos In the night.
Plug sockets hanging off the wall and loose. And taped wires.
Food disgusting and found it hard to eat.
Some of the toilets were disgusting, with baby wipes with poo on them just thrown on top of the bin instead of in the bin
Salt pool which is aimed at adults as they have a water park area was full of kids and it turned green which indicates lack of hygiene and needs cleaning as the chemicals are imbalanced.
Poor evening entertainment.
Sun loungers dirty and stained.
Not worthy of a 4 star maybe a 2 or a 3 at a push.
We had a lovely holiday with our friends at Club Aqua Plaza. The overall atmosphere of the hotel, the cleanliness, the food, and especially the aquapark were all very enjoyable. The staff were generally friendly and attentive, which made our holiday even more pleasant.
I would especially like to thank the animation team. The activities throughout the day, pool games, and evening entertainment were all really enjoyable. The team is energetic and very good at communicating with guests. They know how to get people involved and have fun without ever being pushy or intrusive.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Club Aqua Plaza to anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable holiday, especially families with children. Thank you to the whole team for all your hard work. It is a hotel we would be happy to visit again
