The appointments was lovely clean and airy, air conditioning was the best, very comfortable, the pool was lovely and clean, all this i have no complaints about. A few things could have made it a 5* would have been if TV had an English channel, as lots of Russian, German, Turkish, Dutch channels, maybe a speaker situated around the pool with some nice background music, this would have been perfect, as for the Buffet bar one member of staff a young male with glasses wears a light blue polo shirt i think his parents would be shocked at how rude and bad mannered he is with guests more so with English people, he tells you he doesn't have change when paying in Lira and keeps the change and also he generates a bill and if item isn't available he still demands payment this happened to me when he chased me down reception desk saying I left without paying, I said I am not paying for something I didn't have. This had spoilt my night, but the place itself i would definitely stay again.
Hi. Returned here for the second part of my implant fitting at a local dentist. The hotel is still lovely and most of the staff wonderful. However the staff in the bar/bistro are unbelievably bad. Breakfast is beyond terrible.
The restaurant closes at 15.00. So no drinks or snacks after that. The staff in the bistro/bar are really bad at dealing with customer. Every time I go to the bar someone seems to be having problems with the bar staff. Example went for lunch at 12.20. Told no à la cart menu (ie menu with items such as chicken strips and spaghetti bolognaise on it). Offered yogurt soup(really) and three other item where he could not explain what these were. Also he had no menu to present .
Here is the killer while I was speak to the bar member the kitchen lady was taking some sauce from an oven/steamer to pour over some pasta and gave it to a staff member. Yet when I asked for spaghetti Bol it he said there was not any. So basically he lied to my face.
I picked this hotel because it had a restraunt with room service. That is not the case after 15.00. I have spoke to other people receiving dental care and they feel the level of support in relation to food is just not here. There is also no dessert menu. In the end I along with three other couples had to order take away food that was delivered to the hotel. The bar person I dealt with was called Fucon. Why is he working here? In my opion(43 years in the catering industry)I would shut this bistro and install a vending machine. It really is a waste of time having a bistro. Why have a chef when she is not cooking. If I had been told there was no food after 15.00 I would have gone elsewhere. The sad thing is the reception staff are lovely as are the cleaning and maintenance staff. I had problems with my shower. A maintenance man appeared 20 minutes later and fixed it.I was impressed. The hotel is clean and well maintained however the bistro is dragging your reputation down. Thank you to all the staff who do NOT work in the bistro.
Clean hotel, room was lovely pool was also cleaned everyday. But the fact you can't get food at the hotel after 3pm is not good we had to order food in as my husband had dental surgery and I did not want to leave him. Daytime around the pool is lovely but evenings you have to go out and catch a taxi as theres no one around at all.
This hotel was actually decent but breakfast wasn't great as not much selection but some nice fresh fruit, some bits at breakfast was very random but I could only eat scrabbled eggs due to dental work again would of been nice to have some beans or something with it, not much selection on dinner at the bistro either. We brought some bits for the small kitchen in our room but you get nothing in the kitchen but they did supply stuff when we asked. The hotel is a bit out the way so big tip download uber for taxis you’ll get them half the price they try to charge you, also download Yemeksepeti app which is there local uber eats again get food for same price as locals wish I knew about both these before I come the first time. Pools nice and most staff are friendly.
Here just now for dental work. Room is okay, comfortable enough and clean. There is no kitchen utensils (plates/cutlery etc) so if you’re bringing your own stuff to eat it would be worth bringing this. However the purpose of this review is for the breakfast offerings. Vile. There are 4 things in hot metal trays, chips (rock solid) onion rings (rock solid) what looks like someone has vomited up scrambled egg and cheese and then some hard boiled eggs. There is bread which is ok. There are some stale cheeses and sour yoghurt if you’d like that.
If you are coming over for dental work please bring your own stuff to eat or you will struggle. Bring noodles, cupasoups, protein shakes, yoghurts, stuff like that. Theres not much around the except a restaurant and a shop 10 mins away. I’ll be going here for breakfast lunch and dinner for the next 5 days.
Oh and the pool is just a hole in the ground with no water.
