Titanic Mardan Palace

We are a family from London, and this was our first stay at the Mardan Palace. I use the word first very deliberately because it certainly won’t be our last. We will definitely be back.

I’m not someone who usually writes hotel reviews, but I was so incredibly impressed by every aspect of our stay that I felt it was only right to write one and thank everyone who made our holiday so memorable.

First of all, I’d like to say a thank you to Melissa from the Reservations team. She was in touch with us on WhatsApp every day, making sure everything was going well and always on hand if we needed any help or support.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, professional and eager to help. It quickly became clear that guest experience is at the heart of everything this hotel does.

During our stay, we decided to book a private cabana by the pool, and it was one of the best decisions we made. The team looking after the cabanas were exceptional throughout. Whether it was bringing food and drinks, fresh towels, keeping everything spotless or simply checking that we had everything we needed, nothing was ever too much trouble. Their attention to detail and service were first class.

The food throughout the resort was outstanding. The main restaurant offered an incredible variety every single day, with something for everyone, and the staff were always attentive despite how busy it was. We also absolutely loved the Turkish à la carte restaurant. The food was excellent, but what made the evening so memorable was the atmosphere. The traditional dancers, live music and fantastic service gave us a wonderful insight into Turkish culture.

The pool itself is enormous. Despite the hotel being busy, it never once felt crowded because there is so much space. Whether you wanted a lively atmosphere or somewhere peaceful to relax, there was always room.

One of the biggest highlights of our holiday was the Rino Club. The shows, mini discos, face painting, games, crafts, activities and, of course, the endless ice creams were all fantastic. More importantly, the staff were outstanding. I’m sure I’ve forgotten plenty of names, for which I apologise, but every single member of the team worked incredibly hard from morning until night. Looking after so many excited children every day is not be easy, yet they did it with endless energy, patience and smiles on their faces. They genuinely went above and beyond to keep every child entertained, safe and happy.

There is, however, one person I simply have to mention. Seyra – thank you.

From the very first day, your warmth, professionalism and genuine enthusiasm stood out. No matter how busy things were, you always had a smile on your face and made everyone feel welcome. It’s clear that you genuinely love what you do, and it shows in every interaction. Your warmth and professionalism are the kind of service people travel to the Maldives hope to experience! So a big thank you for your help.

We’ve been fortunate enough to stay in some wonderful hotels over the years, but the Mardan Palace is genuinely one of the very best. The stunning surroundings, exceptional food and luxurious facilities are exactly what you’d expect from a hotel of this calibre, but it’s the people who make this place truly special. I don’t know how another hotel could top off the experience we had so I am already looking to come back again next year.
