- Titanic Deluxe Lara
Located on Antalya's Lara Beach, some 15km from the city centre and 12km from the airport, this is a modern, large and spacious hotel built as the name suggests with a nautical theme and cruise concept, consisting of 589 rooms on 9 levels with an annexe family room building. The large, marble floored lobby with glass-sided lifts and potted palms offers an impressive welcome. There are four pools, a spa and fitness centre, lots of sports on offer, a kids club and a water park with slides and a playground with a fun galleon to play in.
Great activities, Sumiali is a legend!
I have visited Antalya several times over the years and stayed at different all-inclusive resorts, and until now I had never had a bad experience. Unfortunately, my stay at Titanic Deluxe Lara has completely changed that. I am writing this review while I am still staying at the hotel because I genuinely hope the management takes this seriously. The biggest issue is not that one of my child's belongings went missing after being left outside our room overnight. Things can occasionally go missing anywhere. The real disappointment was how the hotel handled the situation.Instead of showing empathy, investigating the incident, or trying to help us find a solution, the guest relations staff immediately became defensive. Rather than listening to our concerns, they shifted the blame onto my son and repeatedly implied that he was not telling the truth. As a parent, it was extremely upsetting to watch hotel staff treat a child this way instead of handling the complaint professionally and respectfully. This was not the level of service I expected from a hotel that markets itself as a luxury resort. Professionalism, courtesy, empathy, and problem-solving were completely missing from our interaction. Instead of feeling supported, we were made to feel embarrassed and blamed. What makes this even more disappointing is that I am still staying at the hotel, yet no meaningful effort has been made to restore our confidence or resolve the situation. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves to be shared because customer service is tested when something goes wrong—not when everything is perfect. Unfortunately, Titanic Deluxe Lara failed that test. Unless the management genuinely addresses this issue and improves the way guest complaints are handled, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. This has been, by far, the worst hotel experience I have had in Antalya.
My husband booked this for my 50th and it did not dissapoint,
Overall this was a great place we really enjoyed our stay and never left the hotel although we could as straight outside is more shops and food places but the bars we were told are pretty expensive. We would definitely return again thank you for a great stay
Bodam was an amazing member of staff whether it be in the cobana or in the reatuaramt at night he works so hard 10/10. The whole experience of the titanic did not disappoint as I was here before and I remembered how good it was. Would totally recommend for families or couple it caters for all.
We are currently stating at Titanic Deluxe Lara as a family with children, and while we are having an ok holiday overall, there are definitely areas where the hotel excelled and others that really need improving.
The positives:
The swimming pools are fantasticu. There is plenty of space, the splash park is brilliant for children, and we always felt they could have fun safely. The adult games and activities in the Olympic pool were also a great addition and kept the atmosphere lively during the day.
The kids’ club deserves a special mention. The staff were great with the children, there were plenty of activities, and our kids genuinely looked forward to going each day.
The evening entertainment was mixed. The Michael Jackson tribute and Beetlejuice shows were excellent and really stood out. Unfortunately, the rest of the entertainment felt quite average, and on many evenings there wasn’t much happening to keep everyone engaged.
The negatives:
The biggest concern was safety. We reported our balcony door as broken on day 2 (1667) Reception noted it down, but throughout our stay nobody has came to repair it or even update us. Travelling with children, knowing the balcony door was broken this should have been treated as a priority.
The housekeeping also lacked attention to detail. Our bathroom conditioner was never replaced during the stay, despite it running out.
The food was probably the biggest disappointment. The first night was impressive, but after that it was almost the same dishes at both lunch and dinner every day with very little variation. For an all-inclusive resort of this standard, we expected much more choice. There were also several occasions where tables weren’t set with cutlery, meaning guests had to go searching for it themselves.
Daytime food options were heavily focused on sweet treats, with very little variety for those wanting something savoury. If you have fussy children, you’ll probably find the choices quite limited.
We also booked an à la carte restaurant expecting something special. The adult steak was nice, but the children’s meals were exactly the same as the buffet. It felt disappointing to pay extra (circa £200) for what was essentially the same food and service we could have had downstairs.
We hired a cabana for the day, but the service was very slow. We also had a strange experience where a few friends briefly swam over to chat to us and we were told they would have to leave or we would be charged extra. Charged for what? They weren’t using the cabana, just saying hello. It felt unnecessary and left a bad impression.
Customer service was inconsistent. Some staff members were lovely and genuinely friendly, but others seemed unhappy and unapproachable, which isn’t what you’d expect from a five-star resort.
Another odd policy was only being allowed one bottle of Miller beer at a time from the lobby bar. With an all-inclusive package, this restriction felt unnecessary.
One final disappointment happened before we even arrived. We emailed the hotel explaining that we’d previously stayed at Concorde Deluxe, had loved it, and were deciding whether to return there or try Titanic Deluxe. We simply asked if there was anything they could offer to encourage us to choose their hotel. The response was a flat “no,” which wasn’t the warm welcome we’d hoped for.
Overall:
There are some genuinely great things about Titanic Deluxe Lara especially the pools, splash park, and kids’ club which made it an enjoyable family holiday. However, for a hotel marketed as a luxury five-star all-inclusive resort, there are too many areas that fall short. Better food variety, more attentive customer service, quicker maintenance responses, and more consistent attention to guests would make a huge difference.
Would we return? A BIG NO . We enjoyed our holiday, but based on our experience, we preferred our previous stay at Concorde Deluxe.
