Ok Hotel

Good clean spacious hotel with friendly ish staff. Great size rooms & lots of room around the pools for loungers. The major problem is the food which is pretty bad. If you like eating the same old food every day then your ok & the layout of the buffet restraunt just turns it into a nightmare trying to find your food. Location isnt great either as its right at the wrong end of the strip so its a good walk to go & eat out anywhere if you dont want to pay for taxis. For what we paid i feel like ive been done over as its not at the standard that its given online

Nice holiday, but 50/50 about going back for another holiday

I went on this holiday on my own with my 11yrs old daughter who is Severely Autistic. Lets starts with the wrongs because these are far less then then the rights. Front of house expierence at this hotel is really worse. I checked in late night after coming from the airport. The check inn was fine, been greeted nicely and checked in very friendly with alot of information given about the hotel and its facilities, Bell Boy taking my stuff upstairs to my room was also very nice and friendly and helpfull, he also helped me connecting to the Wifi and explained how to keep using it as after the first 2 hrs its will then ask for your dob to stay on during your full stay. BUT THIS WAS EVRYTHING THAT WAS GOOD ABOUT THE FRONT OF HOUSE, because evrything else in my opinion was not good and makes me question: shell I ever go back to this holiday? The DAY reception staff are rude, and full of attitude. The hotel itself has no respect fof its guest in terms of disabilities or mental impairments. ROYAL SEGINUS THESE ARE YOUR COSTUMERS, THIS ARE THE ONCES WHO WILL COME BACK TO YOUR HOTEL BECAUSE OF THEIR DISABILITIES AND THEIR NEEDS, not their parents they do not care and they can use any other hotel. Its all about the person with the disability who gets treated right, understood and respected for another time coming back to use your hotel !! If the person with the disability for who these holidays are booked in the first place due to their needs to enjoy is not valued there is a high chance of no returning back to Seginus. This is what puts the reputation of Seginus down. There was no care and no understanding for the person with disabilities, dont know how others got on with there family members who are limited? My flight returning back to Uk was late and since arrival I explained the hotel about my daughters health issues and her needs and the need for a late check out. Evryday come back close to departe we will sort something out. The last evening of departure it was plz come back in the morning we will try and sort something out (which should be the check out morning) On the check out morning, it was not possible to have a late check out due to the hotel being fully booked and no rooms being available…? But if I would £65 the hotel was had our current room available to use till 18.00. I payed it because my daughters needs are so Severe that there was no way to just spend the day on the Resort without having a room for changing Nappies, Clothes etc. This I did not liked at all, as this clearly displays NO understanding, NO value and NO care towards people with disabilities and special needs. Already payed a big amount to go this hotel with repetitive food on a daily basis in its Main Restaurant. Which is also a minus and not much choice for children with Autism and food texture issues. And the restaurant being crammed, no place to sit and after somebody gets up hou often sit on a dirty table as your food is getting cold by holding it waiting for a table, there should be more table if you have such a big hotel and more waiters to serve faster and clean the tables faster as the curreng waiters running the live out of themselves working really hard. I really wanted to come back to this hotel with my family this time for a 14 nights holiday but after this experience from the Front of House it made me question to do it or not to do it as I been other resorts on Lara Beach where I just got a late checkout without issues, and excellent food in the main restaurant with enough seating options.

Lets go to the goods, starting from the Guest Relations who are the actual persons to make people stay pleasant. The Guest Relations are really friendly all of them, very helpful and spend as much as time you need from them untill your questions are resolved, This team that sits at the Guest Relations desk is absolutely AMAZING !!! Thumbs up 👍 for the Guest Relations and a 5* for the Guest Relations service.

Waiters- are all very nice and hardworking, they make you feel welcomed at ease and serve you as fast as they can. There has been no single staff member of waiters, kitchen, chefs or anybody who has been rude or unhelpful all of the staff working in food department deserve a big appreciation for their effort, and Eyub is I think a chef or assistant chef very polite, friendly and helpful person. All the outside food staff (Food Court and Stella Bar) also very hardworking very friendly and make you feel comfortable when going there to eat. The outside food is much more better then the inside food, with alot of choices.

Housekeeping- the hotel is very clean and the Housekeeping are delivering good work on a daily basis, they work really hard to clean this big massiv rooms. And the mini bar also stocked up on a daily basis.

Evrybody speaking about Can and a animation team? No any single day did I seen a animation team in this hotel?

Would NOT Recommend

Sadly I would not recommend this hotel. Having such a great holiday here in June 25’ we returned without hesitation late June 26’ and immediately felt a huge difference. The hotel was at full capacity and it was immediately apparent there was insufficient staff to cover the 2000 guests. Continuous long queues at pool bar with only 2-3 staff serving became tedious and the hotel evening buffet restaurant was the worst I’ve ever experienced anywhere. It was like feeding time at the zoo! Cluttered, unclean tables with food debris on the floor making it difficult to find somewhere to sit with waiters only interested in you if they thought they’d get a tip. Trying to get some food on your plate was not for the faint hearted either. Again large queues for the popular items such as donner kebabs with a 30 min wait, with masses of people everywhere.. I say queues, however Russian speaking guests, which made up the larger percentage of guests, did not wait their turn for anything - bar/buffet restaurant/lifts/beach bus transport. You can only put up with the rudeness for so long before it starts impacting your holiday. I know the hotel is not responsible for guests behaviour but I felt staff did nothing to make things fairer for ALL paying guests. The atmosphere around the outdoor larger waterslides shifted as our week went on where the lifeguards would not even permit you to put a foot on the steps in the water when waiting for our grandson to come down the slides. The constant shrill whistle sound is still ringing in my ears. Whether there’s been a change in management coupled with severe staff shortages I don’t know but I’ve never been so relieved to be leaving a hotel and happy to be heading home.

We all had a great experience in general

Everything was great and the team at night shows were amazing but live music shows could get a little boring some night but other than that everything else was pretty good and to be honest the food quality could be better for a great hotel like this.

Nice rooms but better service

We came back yesterday from this hotel. We moved there from Royal Holiday Palace after two days. Rooms are very nice, modern, cleaned, family room was with two bedrooms and big bathroom. I realle appreciate that in the second bedroom was a balcony acces on the key, so I knew, that my children cannot go there alone. Room service was average. But we didnt miss anything there. Lunapark and aquapark were allright, Cobra tobogan was top. Miniclub was OK. Food was good, but nothing special. Still the same food, service was little bit lazy. When you wanted to come later than was opening, you had to catch somebody to clean your table and bring you drinks. What I missed was a service by the pool, nobody came to us in this 5 days to ask us if we want something to drink. And queues at the pool bar were crazy. Pools were nice and small pool for children and area with splashing water was perfect. Hotel is not at the beach, but for all the day there were two shuttle buses and when you walked, it was nice three minute walk through nice green way full od flowers. So I didnt mind, it was nice.
