The hotel also organises an entertainment programme for adults and children.
We have stayed in hotels all over the world, from 3-star upwards, and although we always enjoy trying somewhere new, there is only one hotel we return to year after year Limak Lara is always our main family holiday. Nowhere else comes close to the feeling of being part of a family that we experience here. From the moment we arrive at reception until the moment we leave, we are made to feel genuinely welcomed, cared for and remembered. Our son has grown up coming to Limak Lara and now brings his girlfriend with him. That says everything about how special this place has become to our family. The hotel's greatest asset is undoubtedly its staff. Elif from Guest Relations is a truly beautiful human being. She simply cannot do enough for anyone who visits the hotel. She has the perfect balance of kindness and professionalism and has become a genuinely valued member of our family. Aru, also from Guest Relations, is warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful. Mehmet and the reception team give us such a warm welcome every time we arrive. They remember repeat guests and make you feel that you are coming back to friends rather than simply checking into a hotel. Sommelier Basri, he is an absolute gem, always there with a warm smile and is definitely the person to see for à la carte restaurant reservations and cabanas. His knowledge of speciality wines and champagne is fantastic, and he is always happy to recommend something or help with whatever you need. We also want to give a special mention to: Onur in the main restaurant — always waiting with a warm smile, remembering us every year and even remembering our drinks. Ramazan from the restaurants, Erhan from the à la carte restaurants, Gülten from the Lobby Bar, Serdar the chef, Ali from the Tea House and Sports Bar, Ramazan and Ayşegül from the Lobby Bar, and Idris at the Towel Desk. Every one of you contributes to what makes this hotel so special. And to all the staff whose names we haven't mentioned - thank you. You work incredibly hard, and it doesn't go unnoticed. The food is excellent, the main Chef Ibrahim is a diamond of a human, and the hospitality is exceptional. There is genuinely something for everyone. For me, all-inclusive is about switching off from reality and taking time to focus on wellness. Limak Lara gives me everything I need to do that. I eat well, enjoy yoga, relax and unwind. The spa is wonderful, and we always look forward to our massages. We would definitely recommend them. The hotel also provides so many thoughtful extras. The rooms have everything you could need, from shampoo and shower gel to dressing gowns, nail files, combs and all those little details that make a difference. The minibar is replenished, and housekeeping in room 1752 Songul Sezar was fabulous, she was available as much or as little as we needed and always gave us extra special touches on the beds with swans and flowers. There is also so much going on throughout the day and evening including pool parties, foam parties, beach parties, themed events and entertainment for the children. Ibrahim, your incredible dancing has entertained us so much this year! 😂 And our absolute favourite has to be The Un4gettables. They are incredibly talented and their voices are simply out of this world. We look forward to seeing them every year. The wonderful thing about Limak Lara is that you genuinely don't need to leave the hotel unless you want to. Everything you could possibly need is here. But ultimately, it isn't the food, facilities, entertainment or beautiful surroundings that keep bringing us back. It is the people. The staff are the heart of Limak Lara. They work so hard to make guests feel valued, cared for and remembered, and they have created something that is very difficult to achieve in a hotel — a genuine sense of family. Nowhere gives us the family feeling that Limak Lara does. For us, this isn't simply a hotel we visit every year. Limak Lara feels like coming home. ❤️ Thank you to every single member of the Limak Lara family for making our holidays so special. We will keep coming back, and we can't wait to see you all again next year. ❤️
Had to spend 3 nights here due to first hotel cancellation What a downgrade Outdated , unhelpful and rude staff ,penny pinching in everything they do Been Lara area 6 times by far the worst hotel
Stay from 28/08/26 - 04/09-2026 9th time in Limak Lara
For the 9th time at limak lara. Still a very nice hotel and all friendly staff members who are working one by one and every day a lot. Always with a smile en very friendly and helpfull.
Animation: Nice program with things to do during day and evening time. Special thanks to Ibrahim, Diana & Berkay for making a nice holiday. Ibrahim takes the time to speak and dance with all the guests, good interaction. Berkay, great presentation on stage.
Live bands are very good. Alcatraz party: less techno music, people are going away early beacause of the same music all the time. Decoration is great! Pool party, foam party, beach party all super and great music! Clubdances are really nice to follow and engaging the public directly to dance! Well done!
Michael jackson show, WAUW! Mr. Limak Lara, very funny! Circus show/Extreme show: good but long and same things. We have seen better shows before at this hotel.
Rayan, great manager for his team.
Suggestions:
-More variation in pool games, in a week we saw 4x the air floatable as game or surfboard game. -Short clubdance after poolgame to close morning program?
Restaurant: The food is good and delicous but less variation then the years before. More often the same things instead of changing some high dishes. 10 years ago it was much better. Chairs at the restaurant are not always clean.
At the pools we miss the pizza from before and fresh fish. All is at the main restaurant now. But its nicer to stay around the pool during day time. Apart that, very much respect for the bar and restaurant staff who are making delicious things.
General overview: Beautiful gardening, toilets are clean, rooms are clean but they are getting older, especially the bathroom. Changing some silicone could be small details to make it look better.
Laila bar is ready for some renovations I think. It's getting older. Tea House is very beautiful renovated! Congratulations.
Massage at SPA was fabulous! Boat tour & wake board at the watersports was very nice and worth the money.
It is still a very good hotel. Especially if it will be your 1st time!
For repeat guests, it's differtent. Some things are changing in a good way, other things changed in a less good way. We have a chance to compare with preview years ofcourse.. If you want to keep your repeat guests, you should stay on the same level like the old years I think. At this moment, the hotel is not worth his 5 stars any more.
But keep up the good work because it is an amazing hotel with all the potential and competitions off the people who are working there.
Location: Perfect! Not far from the airport, shops nearby and close enough to Land of Legends Atmosphere: 10/10 Couldn't have asked for much more. They're was always something going on, the timetable is visible for activities including kids club, you don't get harassed to go, just turn up at the time and you're welcome to join in. There are pool games and pool parties most days, which is great if you're looking for fun, but there are also quieter pools. Rooms: Our room was great, it was cleaned daily so we couldn't fault that. Shows: These were ok, they become repetitive if you stay longer than 1 week. Beach party was fantastic! Limi Kids club: Wow, these girls deserve a special mention. Alona & Alena we're incredible. They made my daughters holiday so special ❤️ activities are great and varied, and the mini disco each evening was a favourite of my daughters. Food: wonderful, could not fault it, so much variety and great flavours. Drinks: The mixolagist was incredible, however other cocktails were very sweet and rushed. The service was variable depending on which bar you was at. The staff on roller skates are great however it would seem they are told to take as many orders as possible which causes long delays in getting your drinks and often missed drinks off the order. You don't get given branded drinks unless you ask, they keep it under the sink so it's not on show. You've got to know to ask if you want branded alcohol. The only beer is local beer. Our main issues (which is small but got worse as the holiday went on) was the mini bar. On the Jet 2 website it states this is topped up daily however we found after day 3 it was no longer topped up. We thought it was a mistake at first so we didn't mention anything, on day 5 we called reception who apologised and sent someone up. He shouted we needed to pay extra. I went to reception who apologised and said there was no charge and it had been a mix up. However the same thing happened again, no beer or Pepsi or water. Long story short this continued for the next 7 days. One day we had got our own beers from the bar to keep in the fridge, only to find out these were REMOVED?! Not only were they but topping it up they were taking stuff out of the fridge! It just become awkward when we had to have the same conversation day in day out. Asking for water, Pepsi and 2 beers was not a huge ask (considering it should have been included). The air con works great in the room (despite other reviews) The dining room is chaos. If you want a clean table and good food, be there first when it opens at 6.30pm. Not much choice for children, my daughter ate chicken and chips for 2 weeks!! Overall we had a great stay but I struggle to rate this as 5*. 3 or 4, given the drinks and overall service. There are 3 watersides which are fun but both my husband and daughter hurt themselves on these.
The highlight for us was Limi Kids Club, who genuinely care for the children and their experiences.
Honestly we wouldn't return but did have a good stay.
Just got back from a weeks holiday
The place is absolutely huge, lots of pools, shops on site and plenty of bars, it’s much bigger than it looks and is basically a small village, you don’t really need to leave, the beach is on site with watersports
The bars serve branded Coca Cola, Sprite glass bottles, branded Bailey’s etc under all inclusive which is the first all inclusive holiday I’ve been on to do this
The staff were friendly enough and rooms were cleaned well daily
Entertainment is brilliant with something going on every evening, beach party was very good
There’s a nurse on site which as a family we had to visit twice, a doctor is called within an hour (even at night) exceptional service
The queuing at bars does get slightly difficult where the locals/regulars try and push to the front, the staff did try and stop this and told them to go to the back
All in all it’s clean, the food is good (albeit a little repetitive but all inclusive always is) plenty of food for vegans and vegetarians (they have their own section) and the staff are helpful enough, the place is buzzing and always something to do
A very good holiday and would return, thanks Limak Lara
