This club resort is situated approximately 8 km from the centre of Lara and is close to the sea and a private beach on Turkey's Mediterranean coast. Antalya is 25 km from the club resort and Antalya Airport is around 13 km away. The hotel consists of 448 rooms. Each room features an en-suite bathroom. Accommodation units also feature an electronic keylock system, as well as a fire alarm and centrally regulated air-conditioning. Guests may take advantage of the Internet access in the lobby. There are many leisure activities offered to guests, such as squash, tennis, table tennis, billiards, basketball, volleyball, beach volleyball, bowling, minigolf, aerobics, canoeing and pedal boating. Other water sports include waterskiing, jet skiing, diving, surfing, windsurfing, motor boating, banana boating and sailing. We had a lovely five-night family stay. Clean hotel, tidy rooms, friendly staff, good food, fun entertainment, welcoming
During a five-night family stay, we found this hotel to be a comfortable and enjoyable choice. Key highlights included the hotel’s cleanliness and upkeep, with rooms regularly and thoroughly serviced by the housekeeping team. The entertainment facilities and bar provided good options for relaxation, while the restaurant offered a reasonably varied selection of food to suit different tastes. Another standout feature was the staff, who were consistently friendly and welcoming. In particular, the Turkish employees were exceptionally polite, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. Overall, this hotel delivered a positive experience for our family. With its clean facilities, good amenities, and excellent service, we would confidently recommend it to other travelers looking for a pleasant and reliable place to stay.

GREAT HOTEL - 10/10
I also read the bad reviews - we went last month (July) 2 kids aged 3 and 6.
The people that write these bad reviews must be either fake, only write bad reviews or their standards are very high.
We had absolutely nothing to complain about! It’s the only holiday we’ve been too and struggled to spend any money! We could have easily not spent a penny.
The hotel was clean, the food was very good and the beers/alcohol/drinks were great.
All the branded drinks are available (jack Daniel’s etc)
You can get bottled beers, they do the trick!
The shows were good, kids were happy. Slides were good for the kids, pools are really good for all ages.
There is no ‘sun bed wars’ there is plenty
You get cards issued for you to collect towels (so you don’t need to pack beach towels)
The beach is great, beach bar is good. And the peer is good, you can jump off and they have a fridge that contains beers and pop.
There is loads of bars to choose from throughout the day and night, feels like your in a restaurant.
Lunch food is great, kebabs, pizzas burgers salad cheese pancakes fruit yogurt - more bars
Entertainment is good they are there if you want them to entertain you or if you’re happy entertaining yourself and the kids then they’ll leave you too it!
I would 100% go back there every year, it’s exactly what you want. There’s no need to leave the hotel and get robbed.
Good clothes shop just outside if you want a few T-shirts and kids clothes.. going from previous turkey trips, the clothes in there are reasonably priced and good quality (called clothes factory) or something.

We Loved Our Stay at Limak Lara
This was my first time in Turkey, and my whole family really enjoyed our stay at Limak Lara. We had a fantastic holiday there. Yes, the hotel could do with some updates, but it did not affect our holiday at all. We stayed in a Family Room, which was nice, spacious and cleaned every day. The minibar was refilled daily with drinks and snacks. The food was delicious with plenty of choice. There were lots of bars around the hotel, drinking water was available everywhere, and the waiters on roller skates serving drinks by the pools were great.
The hotel is huge and has everything you need for a great holiday. There are several pools, so everyone can find a spot that suits them. The beach is beautiful, large and sandy, and there is also a pier with sun loungers where you can relax and enjoy the sea views.
We really enjoyed the entertainment team. They were friendly, energetic and made the hotel feel lively and fun every day. The pool activities and evening shows were great, and the Beach Party was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and made some great family memories. Limak Lara is a fantastic choice for a family holiday, and we would happily recommend it to others.
Poor customer service and support
Our stay at this hotel was very disappointing, mainly because of the poor customer service and lack of flexibility.
Before our arrival, it was almost impossible to get any assistance. We sent WhatsApp messages and other inquiries to clarify a few things before check-in, but received no response.
One of the biggest frustrations was the pricing. We booked well in advance, only to see the room rates drop significantly closer to our travel date. We ended up paying around £400 (€300+) more than guests booking just a couple of days before arrival. When we politely asked if they could adjust the price or offer a room upgrade as a goodwill gesture, we were simply told that their pricing works “like airline tickets” and that nothing could be done.
Communication was another issue. There were very few staff members who spoke English, and on several occasions, when local staff didn’t understand our questions, they simply walked away instead of trying to help.
I was also surprised that this is the first hotel I’ve stayed at that does not provide an iron or ironing board in the room. We were told it was a safety hazard and that if we wanted our clothes ironed, we had to use the laundry service at a cost of €4 per item. This felt like an unnecessary way to charge guests for a basic amenity.
The dining experience was inconsistent as well. On multiple occasions, the restaurant ran out of noodle sauce and simply served plain boiled noodles instead, without offering a suitable alternative.
Another misleading point is the babysitting service. The hotel advertises that babysitting is available, but only after arrival do you find out it is limited to children aged 4 years and older. This important restriction is not clearly mentioned on the website.
What disappointed us the most was the lack of care from the staff. My child suffered an injury during our stay, and when I asked reception for some ice to help reduce the swelling, they were unable or unwilling to provide any assistance. It was a simple request during a stressful moment, and the lack of support was very disappointing.
To make matters worse, room service also comes with an additional charge, making the overall experience feel poor value for money.
Overall, this hotel fell far short of the level of hospitality we expected. Good hotels are not just about the facilities—they are about making guests feel welcomed, supported, and cared for. Unfortunately, that was not our experience, and we would not choose to stay here again.

Our vacation at this hotel was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the warm and professional staff, who made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The food exceeded our expectations. There was an impressive variety of dishes every day, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The restaurants offered something for every taste, and the service was always attentive and friendly.
We also really enjoyed spending time at the bars. The selection of drinks and cocktails was excellent, and the bartenders were always smiling, helpful, and happy to prepare anything we asked for.
The entertainment team deserves special recognition. Their evening shows, themed events, and parties were well organized and full of energy, making every night exciting and memorable.
Our children had an amazing time at the Mini Club. The staff were kind, patient, and creative, organizing fun games and activities that kept the kids happy throughout our stay.
Another highlight was the live music in the evenings. It created a relaxing and elegant atmosphere, and the talented musicians made every performance enjoyable.
We would like to thank the entire hotel team for their outstanding hospitality and dedication. This holiday was a wonderful experience, and we look forward to returning in the future. We would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect vacation.
