This attractive beach hotel lies directly beside the long sandy beach of Antalya-Lara, and 14km from the city centre. Established in 2005, the luxury hotel built on 110,000sqm of land, comprises a total of 427 rooms located in a main building and annexe. Culinary options here include a range of bars, a patisserie, and several air-conditioned restaurants. The many entertainment amenities include a beautiful spa, a multi-purpose court, aqua pool, Thalaso Bath and cinema. There is also a kiosk, some shops, a hairdressing salon, a nightclub and free Internet access.

Book it , you won’t regret it .
We had a wonderful stay at Lara Barut Collection . The staff all work hard to make sure you get the best service .Even though we came as a couple , there is something for all age groups here . There is a good variety of food here . We managed to get in most of the à la cartes whilst we were here . Special thanks to Orkun , we couldn’t get a booking in the restaurant of our choice for my partners birthday but Orkun managed to get us booked in to another one and we had a lovely surprise as they had made a birthday cake . If you can’t get in to the à la cartes, it is not a problem as the food is great in the main restaurant anyway . The rooms are nice , plenty of space and mini bar topped up daily . No problem getting a sun bed by the pool or beach . The grounds are immaculate. There is a good variety of entertainment to please all ages .The grounds are immaculate . The resort lived up to its worthy reputation and we wouldn’t hesitate in coming back.

Extremely disappointing – freezing pools ruined what should have been a luxury holiday
We chose Lara Barut Collection expecting a luxury family holiday, but the temperature of the pools has been a huge disappointment.
The pools are freezing cold, to the point where our 6-month-old baby simply cannot go in them. We have a young family and one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel was to be able to enjoy the excellent pool facilities together. Unfortunately, the water is so cold that it just isn’t practical with a baby.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that we have raised the issue with the hotel and were told that the pools would not be heated / they would not turn the heating on. When you’re paying a significant amount of money for a supposedly luxury 5-star family resort, this is simply not what you expect.
I completely understand that outdoor pools may not be heated to tropical temperatures, but there needs to be a reasonable balance. These pools are genuinely too cold for a young baby to use, which means a major part of the holiday experience is effectively unavailable to our family.
What is most disappointing is the attitude towards the issue. We have paid a premium to stay at Lara Barut Collection and expected the hotel to at least listen to the concerns of guests, particularly when it comes to families with very young children. Instead, we’ve essentially been told that nothing will be done.
For a hotel positioning itself as a luxury family resort, I find this unacceptable. The facilities may look fantastic on paper, but if the pools are too cold to actually use, especially with young children, that significantly affects the experience.
Lara Barut Collection needs to seriously reconsider its approach to pool temperatures, particularly during the shoulder seasons. Guests should not have to pay luxury-resort prices only to discover that one of the main facilities cannot realistically be used by their children.
Very disappointing and certainly something I would want other families with young children to know before booking.

We’re currently staying at Lara Barut and, while there are lots of things we like about the hotel, we’re really disappointed by the temperature of the pools.
We have a 6-month-old baby and a 4-year-old, and the pools are simply too cold for our children to use. Our baby can’t go in at all, and even our 4-year-old needs a wetsuit and is still shivering after being in the water.
We’re not the only guests saying this. We’ve spoken to other families who are also avoiding the pools altogether and choosing to go to the beach instead, as the sea is actually warmer. Unfortunately, that isn’t really what you expect when you’ve paid a significant amount to stay at a hotel with such extensive pool facilities.
What is particularly frustrating is that guests are raising this with the hotel, but it doesn’t feel like the concern is being listened to or acted upon. We completely appreciate that the weather in late September can be changeable, but the pools being this cold means a major part of the facilities simply isn’t usable for many families.
We chose Lara Barut in part because of the facilities for families and children, so it’s really disappointing to be here and not feel able to use the pools. We would genuinely appreciate the hotel taking the feedback from guests seriously and looking at whether the pool temperatures can be addressed.
Above and beyond our expectations - excellent
Really one of the best hotel/resort experiences of our lives. The food was lovely, the pools and the entire environment were absolutely neat and clean. Service was really top-class: Shout out to Mehmet at the restaurant, Orkun & Karina from the helpdesk. The room was comfortable, quiet, and fully equipped with everything we could wish for. And a special mention for the kids club - from kid sized toilets to the friendly personnel - just perfect.

Fantastic luxury stay
We had such a wonderful stay and were genuinely impressed by the whole experience. A special mention has to go to Ebru at Reception, who was incredibly helpful and went the extra mile to make sure we had a lovely room. The communication from the hotel was excellent from the moment we booked, both in the lead-up to our visit and throughout our stay. The Relations Team were also brilliant and made arranging the à la carte restaurants completely hassle-free. There was an amazing choice of food across the resort, with everything feeling fresh, plentiful and well presented. One of our favourite things about the hotel was the atmosphere. Although it is a large resort, it never felt crowded or hectic. We particularly appreciated not having to get up early to secure a sunbed — there always seemed to be plenty available. For families, the water slides, playgrounds and activities are excellent and kept our little one entertained. The resort itself is beautifully looked after, and the staff are a real credit to the hotel. Everyone we encountered was warm, friendly and genuinely keen to help. If we had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the air-conditioning controls, which we found could be a little better. Overall, we had an excellent stay from beginning to end. Great food, fantastic facilities, lovely surroundings and, above all, wonderful staff made it a really memorable holiday. We would happily recommend this hotel and would definitely return.
