IC Green Palace Hotel

We have to give a huge shout-out to Muhammed, one of the pool waiters at IC Green Palace!

From day one, he has been fantastic. Somehow, before we’ve even realised we’re thirsty, Muhammed is already appearing on his roller skates with our usual drinks! 😂 We honestly don’t know how he does it, he seems to know what we want before we do!

He is always smiling, friendly and genuinely happy to chat, and nothing ever seems like too much trouble. But what really makes him special is how lovely he is with our two kids. He always takes the time to interact with them, make them laugh and have a bit of fun. They absolutely love seeing him coming around the pool and get excited when they spot the roller skates! 😂

It’s people like Muhammed who make a holiday memorable. His energy, kindness and attention to detail have made our days around the pool even better.

Muhammed, thank you for looking after us, remembering our drinks and entertaining the kids, you’ve been brilliant! 👏

IC Green Palace should definitely keep hold of this guy! ⭐️

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were very satisfied with the overall service. The Guest Relations team was very friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any request.

The hotel has beautiful green areas that are very well maintained, and the swimming pools were clean and enjoyable. We also really appreciated the excellent service at the à la carte restaurants, with attentive staff and a pleasant dining experience.

Overall, we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay and would be happy to come back again. Highly recommended🩵

We recently stayed at IC Green Palace as a party of 12 and overall had an enjoyable holiday. There were definitely some highlights, but also a few areas where we felt the hotel could improve.

The positives: The Italian and Mexican à la carte restaurants were outstanding. The food was delicious and the service was perfect definitely a highlight of our stay.

We also had spa treatments during our stay and they were amazing. The treatments were excellent and it was a lovely experience definitely worth doing if you stay here.

The staff throughout the hotel were lovely, friendly and helpful. The buffet was also nice with a great choice and plenty of space.

The snack bar was another favourite of ours. The food was lovely and, again, the staff were brilliant.

The pool areas and slides were great. There was a good selection of slides, including larger ones for older children/adults and smaller ones for younger children.

One thing we really appreciated was that there were always sunbeds available, so there was no need to get up ridiculously early to reserve one.

The negatives: For us, the biggest downside was the lack of atmosphere and entertainment during the day. Having stayed at five other hotels in Lara Beach, we felt the daytime entertainment at those hotels was much more active and engaging.

The rooms we had as a group of 12 were quite dated. Interestingly, we walked past a room that had its door open and could see that it had been beautifully renovated, so unfortunately it seemed we just weren’t allocated one of the refurbished rooms.

The children’s evening entertainment was probably the biggest disappointment. It was very repetitive and seemed to be the same each night. It was also held in quite a small, cramped area with the characters, which made it difficult to find somewhere to sit. We only went twice during the week as our children didn’t really enjoy it.

The kids’ club also wasn’t the best for our 8-year-old. He popped in but there didn’t seem to be a huge amount for his age group to do.

We also never managed to see the fair operating during our stay. We did see it running one evening at around 10pm when we were walking back to our room, but by then the kids were already asleep.

Overall, we enjoyed our holiday, particularly the food, staff, spa, pools, slides and the fact that sunbeds were always available. For us, though, the hotel could really benefit from improving the daytime atmosphere and providing better and more varied entertainment for children in the evenings.
