Delphin Imperial

Fantastic hotel. We had such a lovely holiday here and couldn’t fault a thing. Staff were very good. Food amazing. Hotel room lovely - we had a sea side view with a view also to the mountains. Beach clean and loungers comfortable. Sea lovely and warm. Pier is huge. Endless choices for food. Wish we were back there.

Back home again after another wonderful holiday at the Imperial. 11 visits here and 15 to all the Delphins. We keep coming back year after year. The main reason is the staff. So many we can call good friends. Always there to make your holiday special. We had a lovely room overlooking the pools. Thankyou to the staff on reception for helping us with our choice. We had the usual 14 nights again and spent most of our time at the large Aqua pool. Looked after by a team of great lads and girls including Ali, Abdu and Gokce. Thankyou all for the special iced coffees and Abdu for keeping everything organised. 😊 We love the à la cartes and visited the Mexican, Turkish, Fish, Italian, Chinese and Greek. All including in your all inclusive. No extra charge. The food in the main restaurant was beautiful and thankyou to all the chefs and helpers that fed us well everyday We were lucky to see 2 Beerfests and a gala night in the fortnight and plenty of entertainment at the Aqua bar and new serenity bar. We aren’t ones for shows but could see a variety of entertainment while we were passing to visit the pier for our first evening drink. A great place to sit when it’s dark where all the hotels along the beach are lit up. Fireworks and drones shows light up the sky. Many thanks to the four lovely ladies Kezia Aubrey, Violette and Natalie of the guest relations team who made us smile, plus of course all the others on the team who work hard to keep everyone happy. Special thanks go to the waiters and staff that looked after us including Selami, Murat (1 and 2), Abdu, Memhet, Ahmet, Sakir, Abdullah (1 and2) Cebaile, Kerman, Ibrahim and all those whose names I forget.A special mention to Oguzhan at the sports bar and Ismail at the main reception bar who ran their bars impeccably. Not forgetting all the waiters and waitresses of all the bars and the staff at the chocolate shop and patisserie. A thankyou to all the cleaning staff from the rooms to all the hotel areas which are kept so clean. A special mention for the coffee and towel ladies Ummu and Derya and the towel lady at the beach who always had a beaming smile. Looking forward to the new renovations happening this winter and already looking to book again for next year.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel and overall, it really is an amazing place. The hotel was exceptionally clean, well laid out, and the staff were lovely throughout our stay. They made a real effort with my son, which made the holiday even more special. A special mention to the young lady in the ice cream parlour, whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, but she was wonderful with him!

We paid extra for an upgraded room, but unfortunately, the only noticeable difference was the sea view. The room itself was quite basic, and the lighting running around the bed was quite thick and impractical. It made sitting up comfortably in bed difficult, and my little boy kept banging his head on it during the night. This was disappointing when we had paid extra for an upgrade.

The food in the main buffet was nice, with plenty of choice and everything kept very clean and organised. We also paid an extra €100 for the steak restaurant, which was lovely and definitely worth it. We tried the Chinese restaurant too, but unfortunately, we weren’t impressed. The crab soup contained no noticeable crab meat, and the main course was very dry.

My biggest concern, however, was the amount of single-use plastic throughout the hotel. Plastic cups, straws individually wrapped in plastic, plastic bottles, plastic plates, and even high chairs wrapped in plastic. There were recycling points available, but they didn’t appear to be used correctly, if at all. For such a fantastic hotel, it would be great to see some small changes towards reducing plastic waste and improving recycling.

Despite these few negatives, we had a brilliant holiday. The cleanliness, lovely staff, facilities and overall experience made our stay memorable. We will absolutely be returning next year, and I hope the hotel takes on board the small improvements that could make an already amazing experience even better! ❤️
