as an always bored and on their phone teenage girl, this hotel was THE BEST! there is honestly always so much to do! this is the best hotel if your looking to stay inside the hotel for most of the time as there are many many things to get up to!
the service was amazing. check in staff, bar staff, you name it! they were all so lovely to us and we never had a problem with how they treated
around the hotel there are many shopping centres and supermarkets.
cleanliness was great too. barely anything we saw was dirty.
the rooms were lovely, great value for money although we did have to keep asking the staff to restock the minifridges. the bathroom was great aswell. our shower was HUGE! and it wasnt hard to figure out how to use which was really important for us because we were in the pools all day long so a shower was always needed. and thank you to the staff who put towels into cute shapes for us, it made our day :)
talking about the pools, that is the main reason i loved this hotel so so much! there were a couple of big pools to swim in and LOADS of waterslides! even the kiddy waterslides were amazing :D. the big waterslides were fun aswell. some of the lifeguards were abit dismissive but whatever. surrounding the pool there were loads of food stalls which were delicious! the outdoor bars have minifridges so if you wanted a drink you are able to get one from the fridge and walk away instead of ordering.
me and my family are foodies so obviously we were expecting great scran everyday, and we got exactly that! everyday there was fresh meat, chicken, fish, salad, cake you name it! the restraunt here is also semi picky eater friendly. the desserts were 10/10 because what do you mean every breakfast, lunch and dinner there are fresh cakes, macarons, fruits... i could go on and on honestly
evening entertainment was.. intriguing. i would say the best one was probably the alice in wonderland one. im not saying the rest were bad but from what i can remember it wasnt the most fun thing ever. the dance club they did at the start for the kids aswell was lovely. i used to do it when i was younger but it became more and more and more boring as the staff were less energetic so seeing this hotels dance club being different was honestly amazing to see that the staff here were so joyful.
so yeah overall this hotel was amazing! we all had so much fun here and we would definetly come here again one day.
special shoutout to the bar staff near reception. they were the people that made us feel like we were the only people and they made the best drinks :))
1st Delpin Experience
- Fantastic looking hotel from the entrance and once inside not disappointed. Amazing decor and spacious.
- Was given a 1st floor disabled room, which tbh smelt bed, wasnt at all what after but amazingly with £220 we got a sea view 8th floor room, fancy that.
- Great 2nd room that met all needs. Bed comfortable, fridge well stocked, great view (get what pay extra for)
- Food very good in large area with various seating areas off.
- Drinks generally very good, being all-inc try some and not great. Wasnt a fan of some of cocktails with carrot, blackberry, cherry, etc in.
- Steak house wonderful for special anniversary just too filling
- Beach great but is Lara Beach so you know what your getting
- Soft drinks and alcohol bottles in fridges all over and really cold so enjoyed them
- Entertainment - young adults/ children teams - not very inspiring tbh, needed a bit of an injection of energy or something
- Entertainment - shows - having been to Turkey many times you know your getting dancers, acrobats, light shows, etc.
- Service - hotel bars usually very good and great service when sat down in very nice cool internal seated areas
- Show service - not so great unless you line their pockets with purple type paper euros - witnessed great service of ice buckets, drinks every 5mins, waters, etc. Money talks!
- Weather was slightly unbearable towards end, so hot in day and night, pool like a bath, sea not much better, but is middle of summer.
- Didnt try the slides but looked great
- Overall a very good holiday
