Dam Hotel Lara has been serving our local and foreign visitors with 30 rooms in Lara – Barınaklar region, one of the most beautiful districts of Antalya, since May 2021. The motto of our hotel, which was designed with the Aegean and Alaçatı architecture and visual concept, is to make all our domestic and foreign guests feel the Turkish hospitality and family warmth and to provide a clean, high quality, hygienic and sustainable service. Our hotel concept is in the form of bed and breakfast, and it is maintained with continuous improvements to provide the best service to our guests. All the staff of our hotel receive Covid-19 trainings and serve in accordance with the measures related to the current health legislation. In our Hotel, where we bring together the colors of the Aegean and Alaçatı in Lara Barınaklar, our experienced staff await you with their friendly and warm services.

Positive experience
We would like to express our thanks with the entire staff team during our week long stay at the Dam Hotel. The reception staff, Atakan and Seren were more than helpful and accommodating to us ensuring our stay was satisfactory. A special thank you to the manager Kayra, who is very much a "people's person", happy to please when he can. Breakfast was a little disappointing as cereal was not available 4 mornings out of 7. Moreover, while varied, it was mostly Turkish cuisine. All in all, I would recommend the Dam Hotel to those seeking a budget Hotel in Antalya.
Visit
Very disappointed. The breakfast buffet does not cater for many of the guests who are mainly there to have medical treatment. No food to cater for guests with dental issues ie no yoghurt and cereal is hard wheat flakes. If you want an omelette you have to pay extra! Juice is not always provided. No satellite TV as there was an aerial problem which is an ongoing issue. No issues with the cleanliness and the cleaners do a good job. The rooms in the main building are not well maintained with filler throughout holding much of the electric cabling in place especially the air conditioner over the door. They have a fire door however there are large gaps - never pass a UK fire inspection. So very disappointed and will not return!
Terrible
There are so many bad points for this accommodation. The room was tiny nowhere to unpack anything. The 1 sheet on the bed didn’t cover the whole bed so had to huddle together to get any covers. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and there was a foul smell after using. Consistently did not replace the towels one towel between 2! The pool was little more than a giant bath, clearly not cleaned black tide mark all the way around and full of insects. Breakfast was poor hardly anything there and when I asked for more coffee got grunted at by staff. One day after cleaning they left our room door open and unattended so anybody could have walked in and taken our belongings. As I say the list is endless would not recommend or go back

Terrible stay
We stayed at this hotel whilst my husband was receiving surgery. Our first impressions were positive.. gentleman on reception on the evening very friendly and our room although small appeared clean and ample. Due to arriving late evening we were unaware of the location of the hotel and we were woken by the calling of prayers from the Mosque opposite the hotel at 530am! The breakfast although a turkish breakfast was very poor… nothing available for those receiving dental treatment and only one carton of juice out at a time and when asked for more the waiter appeared very rude. Omelettes are available but you are told to pay extra. I asked for some water with my breakfast and was told this was also extra!! . There is a coffee machine behind the bar only and these are also extra cost. There is a pool but it is very small and in a shaded area… so not much point really. We were then told near the end of the stay that we were being charged for a pillow case.. when I asked why they stated there was blood on it… Strange how all the visitors are hospital patients and this cannot be helped! Beds are also very uncomfy with just one small sheet and lumpy pillows. Whilst we stayed there was also a flood on the 2nd floor and peoples rooms had inches of water! The cleaners work hard to keep up with everyday tasks and probably dont get the appreciation they deserve. We are now home and feel like I have been in a prison stay for 7 days, if we do have to return I will be requesting or booking our own hotel

Pleasant stay
After reading some of the reviews we were really apprehensive about staying here.
We have found the room clean, bathroom lovely (shower pressure great), the outdoor pool is small, but the area is pleasant enough.
We got the bus into old town Antalya - easy trip, 35 mins up the road - google maps tells you the stop & bus number, cheap - around 70p - bargain!
The only downside I would say was indeed the breakfast, pretty limited (I miss toast 🤣).
Staff (reception and housekeeping) have been helpful & pleasant.
