This amazingly decorated hotel is located 25 minutes away by car from Antalya, Turkey. The airport is conveniently close, just about 15 minutes by car. In the surroundings, guests may find various restaurants ideal to have a lovely meal. The beach, which is at a walking distance, will be every visitor's favourite spot since they can relax and enjoy the sun while listening to sound of the waves of the Mediterranean Sea. There are also many shopping opportunities for the ones who look for the best souvenirs. The property is perfect for both business and leisure travellers alike. Well oiled machine
Honest and impartial Review. Not posting anonymously so you know its real! We stayed at Aska Lara for 7 nights from 30th August with our daughter, SIL and grandchildren aged 10 & 14. My husband and I are well travelled and as our kids are all grown this is not the normal choice of holiday type for us. The hotel has had a mixed bag or reviews but here is ours. Room, Double, Pool view 1st floor: spotless, cleaned every day, comfortable bed and pillows, fridge filled every day. Sound proofing not great. Food: something for everyone, huge buffet, varied selection, clean, staff very efficient including drinks service. Snacks between meals always available. Pools: clean, plenty of beds both at the hotel pools and water park, dangerous flooring, very slippery so be careful. Some people putting towels down but not a big issue like some hotels. Beach: very quiet, loads of empty beds, gorgeous pier if you want some quite time. Dark sand so gets hot, bring swim shoes and its gravelly getting into the sea. Bars: good selection of alcohol and non alcohol, nuts and crisps available, decent cocktails, plenty of top shelf spirits if you ask. Decent table service in the lounge areas, plenty of seating. Spa & Gym: lovely staff and treatments and decent gym facilities, couldn't fault it. Area: Only the usual fake goods shops/malls and a few super expensive bars ( £8 for a pint and £8 for a can of coke) Antalya town is 40 minutes away by car/taxi but beautify Belek is only 20/25 mins away. Please watch the taxis, they refuse to use the metre even though it is illegal, they don't care, but they're not too expensive. The hotel is run like a well oiled machine, bearing in mind it is a big, busy, complex they do a great job. Downsides: Disappointedly, noisy and inconsiderate neighbours. We had young children running the corridors most nights till gone 1am, shouting, banging on each others doors, playing knock-a-door run, letting doors slam etc. Not their fault, just no parental supervision and/or control (all nationalities I must add). Adults talking loudly on their balcony till the early hours and also being really loud on the corridor till gone 1am ( again all nationalities). People dragging furniture around their room, screeching along the floors at like 07:30 ( come on people!!) Parents not supervising very small children in the main restaurant, letting them play chase, catch or play with footballs (really, in a restaurant?) terrifying when you're carrying hot black tea/coffee and they're running into you. I've seen a lot of people complaining about the food but this is the most muti-cultural hotel we have even stayed in so we must understand that food needs cater for every nationality and culture, not just us Brits. People keep saying this is not a 5 star hotel and it's not by our standards but Türkiye rate their hotels differently. Facilities are good though and I'd say 4*.

A Very Enjoyable Week!
Spent a week at end of August with my son and 6 year old granddaughter, weather very hot and humid so very glad to make use of the waterpark which was great fun. We had a very good time, I had mentioned a birthday was being celebrated to guest relations and the room was nicely decorated when we returned from our day out and a cake left as well which was nice. Staff very friendly but not always enough at peak times at the bars resulting in a slow service. As many people are asking for a beer or soft drink it may be an idea to have some self service to help reduce the queues as only water is available to help yourself to. The food was very good, plenty of choice and some tasty dishes. Special mention to Korhan for cooking the tastiest and spiciest buffalo wings!! One observation is that there is nowhere for a child to play when the kids club is closed as the shaded play park is within the kids club area and therefore closed off. Bearing in mind the kids club is closed around lunchtime when the water slides are also shut you either have to find somewhere to eat or go on the pool which isn’t ideal bearing in mind the sun is pretty much at its strongest. It would be really helpful if access was allowed to the play park at all times, not just during kids club hours. Overall though we had a lovely time, thanks to Murhat for always making a fuss of my granddaughter whenever he saw her and also Rana in guest relations who was really helpful with some queries before our visit.

Aska Lara Resort&Spa 8Hotel
We stayed at Aska Lara Hotel last year and had an excellent experience. We were very happy with the food, atmosphere, cleanliness and quality of our room. We enjoyed our holiday so much that I recommended the hotel to my daughter, and we decided to return again this year.
Unfortunately, our experience this time was very disappointing, and it was very different from our previous stay.
On arrival, we were allocated a room without a balcony. As we were staying for seven days, this was a significant issue for us. We raised our concerns with the staff, but unfortunately the matter was not resolved, and we had to remain in the same room for the entire seven-night stay. This was particularly disappointing because we had specifically chosen to return to the hotel based on our very positive experience the previous year.
We also found the facilities around the swimming pool inconvenient. After swimming, there was very limited space to dry our towels and belongings, which made things difficult, particularly when travelling with a child.
Another issue was the availability of sunbeds at the beach. The beach became extremely busy, and guests seemed to need to wake up very early to reserve a sunbed. If you arrived later, it was often very difficult to find a suitable space. This took away from the relaxing experience we expected from our holiday.
The biggest disappointment, however, was the food. Compared with our stay last year, we felt that the quality and variety had declined considerably. We were particularly disappointed with the children's food. My daughter is quite selective with food, and we found it very difficult to find suitable meals for her. There were very limited options that she was able to eat and enjoy.
I would like to highlight that not everything was disappointing. Some members of staff were excellent and deserve recognition. The team working at the beach and the staff organising the activities were friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the morning fitness activities and the dancing, and the girls at the kids' club were absolutely amazing. Their effort and attitude made a positive difference to our holiday.
Overall, it is very disappointing to see such a difference between our experience this year and our stay last year. We returned because we genuinely loved the hotel previously and had recommended it to my daughter, but unfortunately this year's experience did not meet the standard we had expected.
For these reasons, I am very disappointed to say that we would not choose to return to Aska Lara Hotel in the future. I hope the management will take this feedback seriously and consider improving the areas mentioned above, particularly the room allocation, food quality and children's food options, and the availability of sunbeds.
I want to live there
This is a truly amazing hotel. We booked a last minute (the day before) our trip when we unexpectedly had a long weekend off work and we were not disappointed despite many facilities being closed as it was out of season. The room was huge with a massive Queen size (6 foot wide) bed, which was really comfortable and loads of space throughout. the inclusive minibar (fridge with a range of soft drinks and a couple of bottles of beer) was replenished daily and when we returned to the room after our first day there, there was a vase of fresh flowers and a towel sculpture of swans and a love heart on the bed scattered with real rose petals. A really nice touch that shows just how much this resort goes above and beyond. The availability of food is, if i remeber correctly, is almost 24 hours a day. I think the pattiserie closed at 6.30am and the main restaurant opened at 7.00am for breakfast. At all other times there was at least one venue open for food, drinks and snacks the quality of which was the best I have ever had at an all-inclusive resort. Buffet restraunts are always a bit of a lottery as by their very nature, every dish cannot have been cooked immediately before you eat it but, my goodness, these guys are winning that lottery. The simple number of dishes availabe was staggering and many dishes were being individually cooked or in small batches. My wife is particularly fussy and even she was impressed and would have multiple plates. As I mentioned we went out of season so the neighbouring and included water park was closed and the shuttle service between the two was not running but there was still drinks available on the beach attached to the water park. For those who really cannot unplug from the matrix, there was even good quality WiFi on the beach. It would be a nice touch if the shuttle service would run possibly a reduced timetable out of season as the 800m walk is over quite uneven pavement. We didn't really partake in any of the entertainment as we just went for a short break and wanted to just chill and relax but I have no doubt it would be of the same quality as everything we did experience and we're not really drinkers so didn't spend much time in the bars or visit the onsite nightclub. There was a lot of indoor space to be able to relax in airconditioned comfort without having to hide in your room and an onsite and included Starbucks though they only served small drinks. If they offered the fullsized ones of a regular Starbucks then the queues might be smaller as many people seemed to be ordering multiple drinks or making repeated visits. While this hotel is simply amazing, it should be noted that it is located quite some distance from the bueatufil town Antalya town itself costing 40 Euro for a taxi there and 20 Euro for the one back. The staff were also amazing though that is something that seems to be standard in Turkiye. An amazing, beautiful country with incredibly hospitable and friendly people. Would we go again? Absolutely without a doubt though from a more recent visit, I would definately go in spring as the summer heat and humidity was just too much for us.

Worst hotel ever !!! DO NOT BOOK !
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL !!!!!! I don’t even know where to start with this hotel , If you have this hotel booked I would recommend you to change to any other hotel on Lara beach as I wouldn’t want anyone to go through the same experience as us !!! it was the worst hotel I have ever been to , terrible service , food was awful my partner was ill for 6 days due to the steak house , we then complained as we barley ate anything and the staff were very rude to us , the guest service manage was horrible she shouldn’t be a manager as she solved none of our problems all she done was threaten us with the police, All of the cups and plates we're dirty at the buffet barely any selection aswell , service was awful they advertise servers brining drinks on roller skates all over social media but not one person brings you brings on roller skates , I have never been more disappointed in a hotel in my life , the Starbucks is a joke aswell this was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel and there was crazy ques every morning as there was only one staff member on , none of the staff know any English so it is very hard to get through to the staff. Hotel was a joke I wouldn’t recommend anyone going here ! We are now home and my partner is unable to work due to the sickness he’s been given from this hotel! Honestly a joke !
