Hotel Review

We had a fantastic 10-day stay at Adalya Elite Lara and overall, I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for families with children.

Cleanliness: The hotel was exceptionally clean. Our room was always tidy, and the communal areas were kept spotless throughout our stay. In fact, I would say this was the cleanest hotel I have stayed in.

Entertainment: The entertainment was very good, with something different at the theatre every evening. There was plenty to keep us entertained throughout our stay. The kids' club was also good, although I would say it is more suitable for younger children, probably under 6 years old.

Pools: Our kids absolutely loved the pools and had a fantastic time. There are two separate children's pools — one more suitable for very young children, around under 3, and another for children over 3. There is also a wave pool and an adults-only pool, so there is something for everyone.

Check-in & Check-out: Both check-in and check-out were very easy and completely hassle-free. The staff were always welcoming, friendly and smiling, which made a great impression.

Food: The food was really good, with plenty of different options every day. There were different themed cuisine nights throughout our stay, including Asian, Mexican, Turkish and Italian. The food was never left sitting empty for long — the staff were constantly cooking and replenishing everything.

One area for improvement – drinks service: The only downside I experienced was the service from the drinks/skate team around the pool. We stayed for 10 days, and it wasn't until our 7th day that someone from the team came over to ask if we wanted anything. For most of the stay, we mainly saw the team around the pool collecting empty glasses rather than checking whether guests needed drinks.

I raised this concern with the hotel, and one of the managers came over personally to speak with us. She was very nice, listened to our concerns and was apologetic about the situation. After raising the issue, we did notice the team around the pool much more frequently, which I appreciated.

I would especially like to thank Mehmet and Görkem from the drinks/skate team, who were the ones who came around and made sure we had drinks.

Overall, despite the one issue with the pool drinks service, we had a great family holiday at Adalya Elite Lara. The cleanliness, food, pools, entertainment and friendly staff made it a very enjoyable stay, and we would definitely consider returning.

We have now had the pleasure of staying at the Adalya Elite Lara twice, first in March 2020 and then again in March 2025, and if anything, our second visit made us love the hotel even more.

There are plenty of hotels that are lovely for one visit, but when you choose to return five years later, that says everything. We were so excited to come back and it absolutely did not disappoint. In fact, we were already talking about when we could return before we'd even left!

🍹 The drinks are incredible!

If you enjoy your drinks, you are going to LOVE this hotel. The cocktails are genuinely out of this world. There is a fantastic choice and the quality is so much better than you normally expect from an all-inclusive. Whether you fancy something fruity, creamy, refreshing or a classic cocktail, there is always something tempting being served.

The drinks really are one of the things that sets Adalya apart for us. You don't feel like you're getting the usual watered-down all-inclusive drinks. Everything feels like it has been made properly, and the service is fantastic too.

🍽️ The food is amazing

The food is another huge highlight. There is so much choice and everything is plentiful. We never felt like there wasn't enough available, and there was always something that made us think, "I'll have to try that!"

The quality is fantastic, and whether you're looking for something quick or sitting down for a proper meal, there is plenty to choose from. We honestly looked forward to mealtimes every day.

We also visited the Mexican à la carte restaurant for my birthday, and it was such a lovely experience. The food was delicious, but what really made the evening special was the effort the staff made for my birthday. They had put up birthday banners, and gave me a little cake which was such a thoughtful touch and made the whole evening feel much more personal.

❤️ A special mention for Zarah

I have to give a massive special shout-out to Zarah, our waitress.

She was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, attentive and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. You can tell when someone is simply doing their job and when someone genuinely cares about making your holiday special, and Zarah was definitely the latter.

To top it all off, she even bought me a little birthday gift. I honestly wasn't expecting it at all and it was such a lovely, personal gesture. It might seem like a small thing, but those are exactly the moments that stay with you and make a holiday memorable.

Thank you, Zarah! ❤️ You were amazing and deserve a huge amount of credit.

🏊 March visits

Both of our visits have been in March, so obviously the hotel operates slightly differently compared with the peak summer months. During our March 2025 visit, only the Olympic pool was open, but this really wasn't an issue for us because it is heated and was absolutely fine.

We actually really enjoy visiting Turkey in March. The hotel is more relaxed and there is something lovely about being able to enjoy everything without the crowds you get during the height of summer.

For us, Adalya Elite has that perfect combination of amazing food, exceptional drinks, fantastic service and those little personal touches that make you feel genuinely looked after.

The fact that we returned after five years and loved it just as much, if not more, speaks volumes.

We have stayed in quite a few all-inclusive hotels and there are always things you could pick holes in, but honestly, we struggle to find anything negative to say about Adalya Elite. It is somewhere we would happily recommend to friends and family without hesitation.

If you're considering booking this hotel, DO IT! We genuinely don't think you'll regret it.

And to everyone at Adalya Elite, thank you for another fantastic holiday. We left feeling relaxed, very well fed and definitely very well watered! 😂🍹
