Wonderful time
Hotel was really nice rooms could do with modernising though and would be great if we could order food by the pool. Food in the main restaurant was amazing by the way, breakfast lunch and dinner was 10/10.

Wonderful family holiday with outstanding staff
We stayed at Rixos Downtown Antalya for six nights with our two young children, and it was one of the most enjoyable family holidays we’ve had.
The location is fantastic, close enough to explore Antalya while still feeling peaceful with beautiful views of the Mediterranean and the park. Our room was spacious, very clean, and serviced perfectly every day. The food exceeded our expectations, especially breakfast, with plenty of fresh options for both adults and children.
As a mother, the swimming pool was naturally where I spent most of my time, so safety was always on my mind. One thing that made me feel much more comfortable was meeting an Iranian lifeguard, Hesam Hemmati. Being able to speak Persian with someone when I had questions was reassuring.
What impressed me most wasn’t just that he was watching the pool—it was how proactive he was. There is one section of the pool where the water becomes much deeper after only a few steps, which can easily surprise young children. I regularly saw him politely stopping children from entering that area without an adult and calmly explaining the reason to parents. His approach was always respectful, friendly and professional.
I also noticed that he communicated with international guests very naturally. He spoke excellent English and even used a few words in Arabic, Russian and Spanish to quickly get children’s attention when needed. It was obvious that he genuinely cared about preventing accidents rather than simply reacting to them.
The Guest Relations team also deserves special thanks. Everyone we spoke to was welcoming, professional and always willing to help.
If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be to provide complimentary arm floaties for families with young children at check-in and encourage their use in the deeper areas of the pool. I think it would make an already safe environment even safer.
Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and would happily return to Rixos Downtown Antalya. Thank you to the entire team for making our family feel so welcome.
