Titan Select Hotel

We came here for 5 nights 14-19th.

We arrived at 11.15pm. When we were checking in we were told there was no family room available for us 2 adults 3 children. We got told we would have to separate into 2 rooms. I asked if we could stay in the same rooms as we wasn’t staying for long and it’s a lot to move with 5 of us. He told us we could check the next day. When we checked in we was told no information what so ever , no that there was soup available that night , no times for breakfast. Normally this would be ok but there wasn’t any information in the room regarding any of this either.

The next day we was told to go to reception and we would have to move rooms as the rooms they given us was needed. After asking not to they allowed us to stay in the room another night as we was going out for the day. The manager wasn’t the best. Didn’t even apologise for the problem. Said to me ‘ did I just want money is that what I wanted ?’ Told me I was making it trouble for her. We had 2 nights left by this point and emptying two rooms and with 3 children’s / floats ext wasn’t an easy task. They did say they would get someone to help us pack but I didn’t really want that. In the end we agreed to move - we did get a fruit basket , offered a massage. I kept telling them I didn’t want money I just wanted to stay.

As a British family I would steer clear from here. The food is very oriented around other cultures which is fine but I wish I realised this before going. It wasn’t a problem for adults but for the kids it was hard. we ended up eating out a lot more than we actually would have liked. The juice in the machines are watered down and warm. The staff in the restaurant area look very tired 🙁 with no enthusiasm towards guests.

Very little staff speak English. Happy on the animation team made an effort with us which we appreciated.

The rooms are very dated.

The gentleman across the road in the shop was surprised we came from this hotel as he said no British people stay there which I wish I had known as there was a lot of other RUDE guests.

The poolside is lovely and clean. The area is good and with shops across the road and burgeoning / McDonald’s / town a 10 minute walk.

We spent a lot more than anticipated due to the food here. This isn’t a slander or the restaurant I just wish I realised they don’t cater for British guests. Just a review I wish I seen myself before booking.

I would say this is a 3* at best.

The hotel is nice with friendly staff, however you will get told you have a “urgent” meeting with a man in reception who you should not buy any experiences from as he will mislead you and scam you. We were promised a “relaxing day out” which turned into an absolute nightmare of a day as the experience wasn’t remotely close to what was described so please please do not buy anything from this man as they do not give refunds and I promise you won’t be happy. Furthermore we booked a restaurant with him and he showed us the menu which was the completely wrong menu with much cheaper food than reality and just wasn’t good food. The food at the hotel was okay and I would say the hotel is a 3 star and absolutely not a 5 or even 4 star hotel. The holiday was good but the experience with this hotel guide completely ruined the hotel for me.
