I think we need to speak about the hotel. It is not a safe hotel for anyone and especially for children like myself. There was so many issues. False advertising for start as it was nothing like what was shown. We all ended up with Gastrointestinal issues due to the unclean conditions provided by the hotel. The food was cold and served in horrendous conditions. Rooms were cleaned with unsanitary products leaving it more unhealthy than the condition it was in. Lifeguards left areas unattended where it was extremely necessary when you have children. We asked numerous times for help for example a cot for our 2 year old as it was unsafe to let him to sleep on a bed. After asking 6 to 7 times we got one 2 days after. Lifts stopped working so was taking a buggy a flight of stairs down to catch a lift. Asked numerous times but was told it will be looked into but never was. I’m sorry I understand you get what you pay for but if like in the UK we have trading standards. They would find sufficient evidence to see that this hotel is not up to standard. It is a matter of time before someone is really effected as it’ can be a danger to human life Whoever is writing the positive reviews I would definitely like to speak to
Stay away from this hotel. It’s nothing like the photos.
I really don’t know how this place is getting away with being advertised as a 4.5 or 5-star hotel. We booked our stay with Thomas Cook, and I wish we’d read the reviews beforehand. It was a complete disaster from start to finish, and we ended up cutting our holiday short because it was so bad.
Dirty Rooms & Poor Hygiene:
The room was absolutely filthy. When we walked in, we immediately noticed hair on the floor and dirt in the corners. There was even a big pile of hair in one spot. It was gross. The shower hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the whole place had a musty, neglected feel. It looked NOTHING like the photos. The current status of the hotel is really outdated.
Dining Disaster:
Now, let’s talk about the restaurant. It was just as bad. There were flies everywhere—buzzing around the tables and landing on the food. The buffet was a joke; half of the dishes looked old, like they'd been sitting out for hours. The plates were dirty, and it was just so unhygienic. Honestly, we couldn’t bring ourselves to eat there. We ended up skipping meals most of the time. It’s not the kind of place where you feel safe eating anything.
Bad Service & Zero Communication:
To make matters worse, Thomas Cook didn’t help us at all. We tried reaching out to them for assistance and never got a timely response. After a long and exhausting trip, we thought we’d finally arrived at our dream vacation spot, only to find out it was a nightmare. The hotel was a mess, and we felt totally let down by both the place and the travel agency.
Cutting Our Holiday Short:
We couldn’t stay there anymore, so we packed up and left early. It was such a huge disappointment. This was supposed to be a relaxing holiday for our family, but instead, it turned into a stressful, gross experience. We were all just relieved to get out of there.
Don’t make the same mistake we did.
Please, don’t waste your money on this hotel. It’s nowhere near the standard they claim. If you want a relaxing holiday, find somewhere else. We definitely regret booking this place, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, everything was a disappointment. The staff were unhelpful and unfriendly, the room was dirty and poorly maintained, and nothing looked like the photos advertised. The bed was uncomfortable, the bathroom smelled terrible, and basic amenities were either broken or missing. On top of that, the noise level made it impossible to rest, and the overall atmosphere felt unsafe and unwelcoming.
Honestly, this hotel should not even be open to guests. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid staying here – it was a complete waste of money and ruined part of my trip.
The saying "a picture is worth a thousand words" does not hold true in this case. The images of this so-called "5-star" resort were far from reality.
The resort predominantly caters to Russian tourists, which is why we selected it to spend time with my Russian family. From the outset, my sisters, who booked a room with two separate beds, were given a room with one bed. When they inquired, they were told such an option never existed and would need to pay extra for separate beds. During our stay, many guests shared similar experiences, complaining about being charged additional fees upon arrival to receive the rooms they had initially booked and paid for.
Our "family suite" room had only two double beds and lacked basic amenities such as a table, chairs, body towels, toilet paper, and shampoo—elements expected from a "5-star" establishment. Wi-Fi required an extra fee. For body towels, we were informed only two were provided per room, regardless of the number of occupants—a baffling policy. The beds were uncomfortable, the bedding was filthy, and I doubt the sheets or towels had been properly washed. Around the property, plastic sewer pipes were scattered, emitting an unbearable stench. It was unclear if repairs were underway or if this was standard practice.
The food was acceptable for the first two days, but I then noticed leftovers from prior meals being reused. The vegetables and greens seemed unwashed. Ultimately, all nine members of our group contracted gastroenteritis.
Many staff members were rude and unprofessional, particularly one young lady purportedly serving as the reception desk manager. When I asked her about obtaining two room keys, she began yelling at me, insisting only one key was allowed.
There is much more to recount, but I believe this illustrates the overall experience adequately.
This hotel was the worst experience ever. • Terrible food, no taste and very poor quality. • Staff was rude and unfriendly. • Rooms were dirty, never cleaned, smelled awful and had no towels. • The whole hotel had a disgusting odor. • Internet was not free – I had to pay $20 just to get online.
This place is not worth visiting even for free. Avoid it at all costs – worst holiday of my life!
