Rox Royal Hotel

We arrived at night around 22:30, when we asked where to eat, they said that no one was working. Only from 23:00 will soup be served. Since we were with small children 2 years old and 4 years old, they gave us a free stroller, but it was dirty with mold stains. When we came to the room, we saw that the floor had not been cleaned, full of garbage and dust, the pillows were torn, a thin cotton blanket was put on the bed and only 3 beds. Although there were 4 of us, the cot was delivered only after midnight when we were already asleep. They knocked on the door, and then unlocked it and tried to enter. We left the cot unmade, because we were already asleep. When we woke up in the morning, we saw where we had arrived. The room was all dirty, full of dust everywhere, torn curtains, mold, a leaking refrigerator. After breakfast, we thought it would be better, but alas. The choice was poor, the juice from the machine resembled a yuppy, made from powder, coffee only from an old dirty machine in disposable cups. The dishes were not all heavy. In the morning, we met with the travel agent, when we told him that this is not a 5* hotel, he simply said, well, this is a subjective assessment. Then we went to the pools, the water was icy, the children didn't even get in, the adults didn't swim either because it was impossible to get in, and the kids club looked abandoned, the grass was overgrown, you couldn't see any children. When we went to the beach, all the sunbeds were taken, the condition of the sunbeds wasn't very good either, they were quite torn. Right next to the beach, we didn't see a bar working for 6 hours. When we went up the stairs, there was a snack bar, the food was always the same from my point of view - pizza, nougat, pasta, salad, burgers. But everything was dirty, the kitchen didn't look hygienic, the furniture was dirty. Access to the refuge is via an underpass, there is no wheelchair access. The a la carte restaurant is only available if you stay for 7 nights. It was the same for breakfast and lunch every day. Every other day something different was served for dinner. The children's eating area looked abandoned because no children were sitting there, and once burnt rice was left for the children to choose from. At the children's pool, they baked pita bread with meat every day, and the only drink they had was the same juice from the machine, although the menu also included smoothies and coffee. The kids' club appears to be working, but there are very few toys, it is also dirty and moldy. Every evening at 8:30 PM there was a kids club dance, every day the same dances and then there was a game of cola, fanta sprite where you had to stand up, turn around, sit down, and whoever did something wrong had to pretend to fall (fall out) after that at 9:30 PM there was evening entertainment and that was not everyday. The performances were also pretty ordinary, nothing impressive, dances/songs. Only the cocktails at the bar were good and there was a lot of choice. The only thing that was good was the Focus spa, because you could use the Turkish bath and sauna for free.

I stayed at the hotel in August 2025 and had a very bad experience. Money was stolen from our room, I reported it to the reception and spoke to the manager, but they couldn't do anything, and I was sure that after cleaning the room, the guy who came in searched my things. After two days, I saw the same guy cleaning other rooms and I set a "trap" for him in the room. It was Friday so I went to the mosque and when I came back I saw him searching the room again. I reported it again but the manager didn't believe me, but when I showed him the pictures and everything, the security came and reviewed the video. After 3 hours of waiting, they called me and said that he confessed everything and asked me not to call the police because of the other guests and that they would sort it out. If I didn't have evidence, nothing would have been solved. I wasted two days waiting and talking. This hotel is not safe and there is a lot of theft.

The hotel is located in a wonderful location, surrounded by beautiful nature. We really enjoyed the entertainment, including various games. I’d like to especially highlight Aruzhan, the animator — she was always very sociable, kind, and cheerful with everyone. The food at the hotel is delicious and varied. There's a water park on site, and each recreation area has its own bar.
