Imperial Turkiz Resort Hotel

A very disappointing experience that did not meet our expectations for a five-star hotel.

From check-in, the reception staff seemed unwelcoming. The worker didn’t smile and was cold.

We were moved between three rooms during our stay. In the first room, the shower was not working, there was a dark stain on the bed linen, and we noticed what appeared to be mold in the bathroom and hallway. The second room had a broken air conditioner and a very strong, unpleasant smell. We asked to move again but were told we would need to wait until the following day. Because of the heat and odor, we could not sleep until approximately 5 a.m. That night, both my partner and I also developed skin irritation on our arms and legs.

In the third room, some damaged furniture had been repaired with tape. We also noticed a dark substance resembling mold inside the hairdryer. We requested a replacement three times before receiving one. We observed similar dark patches in parts of the spa area as well.

We also had concerns about the food and cleanliness. We found ants in one of the desserts, and the replacement fork we received was dirty. And in the meat, there was a metal thing. During our stay, only one restaurant appeared to be operating, and the menu offered very little variety. Although dinner was advertised as available until 21:00, staff began removing food at approximately 20:30.

Basic service was also difficult to obtain. Towels were not consistently provided, and on several occasions we received only one towel for two guests. At one point, we waited more than three hours for additional towels. Because of the room changes and repeated visits to reception, we spent several hours each day trying to resolve problems instead of enjoying our vacation.

The facilities also differed from what we expected based on the hotel’s advertising. The entertainment program was extremely limited during our stay. The beach was accessible to people who were not hotel guests, and some of the better sunbeds required an additional payment. The pier also appeared to be in poor condition, and one of its boards moved beneath my foot, causing me to nearly lose my balance.

Based on our personal experience, the hotel’s condition, service, and available facilities did not reflect what we expected from its five-star rating or price. I have stayed in many hotels, including three-star properties, and this was unfortunately one of my most disappointing hotel experiences ever.

Honestly this hotel is just a safety hazard, truly a health nightmare. Mold, smell (probably some dead animal in the ventilation system). By the looks of some other reviews it seems like im not the only one.

It is a nasty hotel, and the worst part is that the employees dont take it seriously (refusing to address the issue or change rooms). Im from Denmark and this would NEVER be accepted over here. Terrible stay

Everything is dirty, and broken - looks like they hosted UFC mma event inside of the room
