A holiday destination that is truly a "Hilton." Peace and quiet, a beautiful beach, cleanliness, impressive food, and curated entertainment. Naturally, the cherry on top is the hostesses, Merve and Nadide.
We like very much here we will come back again Unforgettable Stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Kemer – Exceptional Service by Zhazira! We had an incredible vacation at DoubleTree by Hilton Antalya Kemer. The location is breathtaking, nestled right between the Taurus Mountains and the clear Mediterranean Sea. The food selection was exceptional, especially the unique street food market concept and the fantastic à la carte dining options. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the outstanding hospitality. A very special thank you to Zhazira (Shakira) from the Guest Relations team! From the moment we arrived, she took amazing care of us. She was always smiling, warm, exceptionally helpful, and handled all of our restaurant reservations and special requests effortlessly. Her genuine hospitality and attention to detail made us feel truly valued as guests. Clean rooms, excellent facilities, and world-class staff. We will definitely be back, and we hope to see Zhazira again! Zhazira-Shakira
We are leaving after spending two weeks at the hotel. On arrival we were not allocated the deluxe duplex we booked and paid for so advised not to unpack but would be moved rooms the next day. No welcome cookies or orientation but there was a hot supper available which we found out about via Facebook group.
The following day other guests told us about a whatsapp messaging service. Daily I received messages about entertainment and dinner theme which I passed on to others in our group.
Suitcases were moved and able to unpack- delayed start to holiday but no apology or explanation.
The view from the duplex was great. The view from the double bedroom was ground floor car park so afforded limited privacy for sitting out.
Food was standard all inclusive fare. It’s our 6th trip to Turkiye and standard similar to others in Belek etc. Breakfast fresh juices are included. Lunch trucks were different and recommend shawarma but ask for extra sauce. Queues for burger van, recommend smash burger but not chicken. Lunch trucks were different and recommend shawarma but ask for extra sauce. Queues for burger van, recommend smash burger but not chicken. Tornado potato is novel and very nice. Ketchup and mayonnaise are available via waiting staff if you ask. After the male staff member left, the Korean chicken was always undercooked but staff didn’t understand. The gozleme was worth the wait on most days. After 10 mins wait one day, ordered gozleme was handed out to printed shirt staff to give to VIP guests. VIP guests also had reserved tables at dinner and entertainment area.
Witnessed several near misses with a young person on an electric scooter - not a good mix with wet floors and risk to other guests.
A couple of evenings we struggled to get a table in the evening and ate outside.
The jet2 à la carte is Turkish which coincides with the same food being served on theme night on Wednesdays.
There is a steak à la carte at 30 euros each but you pay extra for actual steak.
Mexican night has good churros outside but they stop before end of dinner service so get them early
There are lots of places to eat in the town, some offering pick up services via Facebook but bear in mind prices are much higher than previous years. There is a McDonald’s Burger King, Starbucks, Subway etc in town near the marina about 20-25 mins walk from the hotel or 350 lira in a taxi.
Mini fridges in rooms are replenished daily with soft drinks and a couple of cans of lager but the mini fridge wasn’t cool at all.
The tv didn’t work in one of our rooms and this was fixed after we reported it. But very limited English channels and no facility to screen mirror or stream. No English premiership channels, no YouTube or similar.
Hairdryer available and we found out via other guests that we could order an iron and ironing table. There were about 8 hangers for a two week stay so much of our stuff was left unpacked. Showers worked well, including peak times and there were toiletries available.
The deluxe duplex was occupied by 3 and after we raised the issue of only having provisions like cups chairs etc for two - this was not rectified as promised. The 2 dressing gowns present in deluxe were removed and not replaced.
The gym was small and would benefit from more equipment and also had no cold water.
We tipped daily as the staff work very hard especially Funda Muhammad and others. Entertainment would recommend Michael Jackson show but you need to be at the arena 1.5 hours earlier. The arena is limited for the number of guests.
Day time animation is very limited compared to other hotels and the animation team weren’t really visible during the day.
The pizza making and cake baking were enjoyed by our kids. We made a lot of friends by the pool and there wasn’t much for younger kids to do. The kids club and the mini disco wasn’t as good as other hotels.
Both the coffee shops are great and recommend the banana bread and cheesecake. The waiters on wheels are very good natured and work hard. The ice cream range and opening times is great and the staff members ( Yusuf and a young woman) there are chatty.
Sheesha is available at 30 euros but not tried. The padel was also available as a paid service but it was too hot to play.
There’s no poster showing management details for help and no meet and greet at mealtimes which we have seen in other hotels. These would help the hotel pick up and address guest concerns.
There is one pool which does have some in-pool seating spaces . The beach is very stony so water shoes are a must.
Check out is at 12pm with 30 Euros an hour charged to retain the room. Option to shower in spa room shower but the door was broken/missing earlier this week.
The hotel has a very good mix of English, European and Turkish guests.
We ventured outside the hotel on several nights. There are some shops after the hotels on the left including a carrefour supermarket and lc wakiki. There’s also a pharmacy if you turn out right . The change in economy is evident in prices but also behaviour outside the hotel. We were subject to 11000 lira being typed into a cash machine instead of 1100, deposits demanded before entering facilities and also a fake police scam.
Warning - Our friends left their iPad in the hotel safe and we made several trips to Guest relations but it wasn’t found.
Having stayed in many high-quality hotels over the years, I can honestly say this is one of the best experiences we've ever had as a family (2 adults, 7 year old child + grandparents for this trip).
The standout feature is undoubtedly the customer service. Every single member of staff was friendly, professional and genuinely committed to ensuring guests had an amazing holiday. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the level of care and attention was exceptional from start to finish.
The food was simply incredible. This was by far the highest standard all-inclusive dining we've experienced anywhere. The quality and variety were outstanding throughout our stay and every meal felt like dining in a premium restaurant rather than an all-inclusive resort.
The drinks selection was equally impressive, with premium branded spirits, excellent cocktails and a wide range of options available. It was refreshing to see a hotel offering genuinely premium beverages rather than lower-quality alternatives.
The pool area was excellent and well maintained, with plenty of sun loungers available. Slides are brilliant for the kids and adults alike.
Housekeeping also deserves special recognition. The rooms were maintained to an exceptionally high standard and were spotless every day.
If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the air conditioning in the communal areas. While the air conditioning in the bedroom worked perfectly and could be adjusted to a cool temperature, the centralised air conditioning in the public spaces felt a little too warm during the peak summer heat. Lowering the temperature in these areas would make an already amazing experience even better.
Entertainment in the evening was great, we watched a couple of outstanding shows (the motorbikes and the illusion show). Regarding daytime entrainment it would be great if children were allowed to join in with the daytime pool activities such as the bounce class and the floating class - our child isn't interested in kids club but would have loved to do this had he been allowed.
Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in almost every way. Outstanding service, incredible staff, exceptional food and drinks, excellent facilities, and immaculate housekeeping. We would not hesitate to return and would highly recommend it to anyone.
Staying at this hotel at the moment and after reading a few negative reviews I was a bit apprehensive as I am quite fussy and like good hotels I didn’t have to be concerned this hotel is amazing the staff cannot do enough for you everyone is really happy the hotel is so clean the food options are great lots and lots of variety ice cream parlour fabulous branded sprits wine is more than drinkable some sites advertised this hotel as 4 star some as 5 star it’s definitely a 5 star will definitely return its super usually stay in antalaya at same hotel but have now found new best
