From the moment we arrived in the middle of the night, we were treated like the most important guests at the hotel. The reception staff were wonderful. As this was our first holiday of this kind, they took the time to explain everything, from our room to the facilities and dining options. The porter who brought our luggage to our room also explained how to use the air conditioning and the in-room safe.

The housekeeping team left towel sculptures on our beds each day, which was a lovely touch. Whenever we passed them in the corridors, they always greeted us with a smile.

The food was superb, with such a huge variety that we couldn’t possibly try everything. There was something for everyone and every palate, so we never felt the need to visit the à la carte restaurants.

The beach was clean, and the attentive bar staff made sure we never went thirsty. The loungers were the perfect place to settle down with a book and escape from the world for a while. The pools were equally inviting—ideal for cooling down and simply floating your cares away.

The drinks and cocktails flowed, and the bar staff were always happy to accommodate special requests, using branded spirits and soft drinks. They even remembered what we’d enjoyed the day before and offered it when we returned.

The staff around the hotel grounds were equally friendly, taking the time to chat and remembering little things we’d told them previously. Those personal touches made us feel truly welcome.

The evening entertainment was fantastic, with live shows that kept us enthralled.

Definitely a holiday to remember! In the words of the evening entertainment MC, the whole experience gets a “BIG UP” from us!

We had a lovely stay, the highlights were the beach pier and food trucks as well as the activity offering. However, for a 5* hotel we found the guest experience staff and overall guest experience lacking. The room cleanliness and F&D inconsistencies were disappointing at this level. You will have a fab visit to this hotel, but we personally would not return.

• Staff - staff are generally friendly, particularly those doing pool and beach service and a few restaurant staff. However, reception/guest relations do not seem to do anything to actually improve your experience. We weren’t even greeted nicely upon checkout, just told what our extra charges were - no smile, no “how was your stay” etc. Very different to other hotels we’ve stayed at, staff do not greet you around the hotel or see if you need anything. This isn’t to discredit the wait and bar staff who work incredibly hard. The activity staff are wonderful and super fun!
• Money - it feels like hotel management / guest relations are out to make a quick buck where possible. For example, the hotel’s website clearly states late checkout is €20 an hour. The staff will tell you €25 for the same room. When we challenged this, we were miraculously told for €20, we would have to move rooms to next door … when we asked why this couldn’t be given to someone else, we were told it was because it was an accessible room - despite the fact they were going to give it to us, who didn’t need an accessible room … We felt the same with the cabana, with a different price depending on the day and person you ask. Our cabana day also rained (expected) and the cabana next to us was the only one with a heated jacuzzi. This was totally empty. We asked if we could swap cabanas in the afternoon to use the heated jacuzzi as the cabanas were all empty (we knew this one was €100 more) - we were told no as it was booked… except it wasn’t as we could see it was empty all day. All of the things involving extra charges just felt iffy and disingenuous.
• Cabanas - worth the money if there is 4 of you. Probably not if there were 2. Special menu food isn’t great quality and the food truck food is better. Butlers are super lovely though.
• Room - the rooms are fairly basic and small and the cleanliness was lacking - there was a cigarette and used plaster on our balcony when we arrived and the shower needed a further clean by us to be clean. The rest of the resort was very well presented. Housekeeping staff were wonderful. Our TV didn’t work, we did ask that this was looked at and we were told someone would come and fix but this never happened. Not a huge issue for us as it was a novelty to have it on in the background but not a necessity.
• Facilities - the hotel is beautiful, it isn’t so big it’s overwhelming or hard to navigate but there is still a lot to do and see. The pier and cabana areas are beautiful in the day and at night. Lots of places to grab a drink and hang out.
• Loungers - we are “out of season”-ish but we never struggled to get loungers either around the pool or beach. So this is a huge plus! There is a rule against reserving for longer than 45 mins but we didn’t see this enforced.
• Entertainment - generally a band or show every evening and then DJs across the hotel. This was quite repetitive after a few nights but full of very talented entertainers. We really liked that there was a separate games area too. Even when it rained the hotel put out more chairs and tables inside so we never struggled to get space anywhere in the hotel. The fitness and sports activities were really varied and fun, the staff as mentioned were fab.
• Food - the food trucks are a standout. This is the single best thing about the hotel’s F&D offering. The general buffet otherwise is pretty repetitive and the quality varies a great deal from dish to dish and night to night. We didn’t struggle to find things to eat, but would recommend filling up on lunch first! The night buffet is a miss, it’s generally just mash and beef stew. More snack type foods, sandwiches, quick bites would be much more preferable. Wait staff are understandably busy but very friendly.
• Drink - on paper a fab cocktail selection but we found this varied massively by bar and server. You could order the same cocktail with different people at different locations and it would be completely different each time - I.e tasting like pure juice or syrup, different alcohol put in etc. we loved trying the roller skate waiters drinks offerings though.

We have had a truly wonderful holiday and are extremely satisfied with our entire experience. The location is excellent, with the city centre within easy reach. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is fantastic, and the rooms are comfortable, spotless, and well maintained. The hotel offers excellent value for money. What really makes this place special is the outstanding service. Every member of staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Any questions or requests are handled quickly and efficiently, making guests feel genuinely cared for. There is honestly nothing negative we could say about our stay. Our only small suggestion would be to provide hand sanitiser dispensers at the entrance to the main restaurant for guests' convenience and hygiene. Overall, we have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our holiday. We would definitely consider returning to this hotel in the future.
