Dg Hotels Rose Resort

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel in September, and we were truly pleased with our experience. First of all, I would like to give special thanks to the reception team, who welcomed us warmly and took great care of us upon arrival. Their friendly and attentive service made us feel very comfortable. The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere, the food is delicious, and the garden is beautiful and relaxing. The beach and sandy shore were clean and well maintained. Another great advantage is the hotel's proximity to the city center. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

So.. where to start? I came here in June..room was awful, afyer asking before arrival if there was a balcony, I was told all rooms have balconies..low and behold, no balcony. And the room was falling to bits, hair on my pillows. Shower wasn't great.

Moved rooms. Put me on the ground floor(not very wise considering im a 22year old solo traveller) next to a generator that would go off like clockwork around 2am every night, could not sleep . During the day, because of where the room was situated it was dark, dingy and overall pretty depressing. The sink was vile, black all around the underseal. I complained about it and was met by the receptionist with a "well if you don't like it then leave" and he was just straight up rude and not pleasant at all.

My holiday rep was great, Orhan, and he was very helpful. Tried his best. They ended up showing me another room.. to my surprise it was literally 2 doors down from the room I was in which was also disgusting and dark , still miserably close to the generator. I rejected it. And was then also met with rudeness from the receptionist yet again.

I then did end up in another room, higher up and further away from the generator or whatever it was making the dreadful noise. It was at the front of the hotel so it actually had daylight and was dark all hours. I was much happier after this, but the room still wasn't up to much. They even charged me for this room. A supposed upgrade but the room was the same , just higher up.

Overall I had a pretty awful experience with the rooms and receptionist.

But, I cant fault the majority of the staff(just the receptionist was awful) Most of them were really sweet, kind and helpful. Doing their absolute best. The managers, head chef, the lady at the snack bar and the holiday rep were all great. I cant remember the names but as said previously only had a bad experience with the rooms and the receptionist.

The food was lovely, I cant comment on the pool as I didnt step foot in it .

The Turkish night was great fun.

It did upset me seeing the caged peacocks etc.

But Overall, I think the hotel just has a pretty bad design. Everyone i spoke to also had problems with their rooms (was not surprised by that in the slightest)

Its quite far from the town, not the best location although not awful either.

For some reason, it will not allow me to post any pictures, otherwise I would show what I mean about this room and show the noise (although it doesn't fo justice as to just how loud it really was)

2 star hotel at best. Definitely not a 4 star. Im not sure how they get away with this rating.
