Club Hotel Sunbel is a seaside hotel located in the Beldibi area of Kemer, Turkey. This all-inclusive resort offers comfortable accommodations with rooms that feature air conditioning, balconies, and private bathrooms. The hotel boasts a range of amenities, including a private beach, outdoor swimming pool, children's pool, fitness center, and spa services. Guests can enjoy a variety of dining options at the on-site restaurant and drinks at the hotel bar. With its scenic mountain and sea views, Club Hotel Sunbel is ideal for travelers seeking a relaxing holiday by the Mediterranean.
So, 4 star in quality this hotel isn’t!! The rooms are basic, if a little tired, plug sockets covered by wall units! It was cleaned every day and the beds were very comfortable.
As an all inclusive you expect variation in food and drinks…. If you enjoy salad for breakfast lunch and dinner then this is the place for you, there was no distinction between meals! Dessert either fruit or the same syrup soaked sponges day in day out. The food wasn’t unpleasant just the same for every meal and very little choice for children.
The all inclusive bar was shameful probably the worst part of the hotel experience! No bar menu, no signature cocktails, choice only of red wine white wine, one lager and we learned after 3 days.. vodka and gin. The bar start didn’t understand requests for drinks… ask for a coke and they serve red wine. One tiny bar…… this needs a massive improvement. As it was we didn’t enjoy the drinks they served and ended up spending £150 on our own alcohol for the week!
The spa service, l was really looking forward to a massage and booked a thai massage, the spa had different ideas and tried to persuade us to have lymphatic massages as ‘they would help me loose weight!!!’ Offended!
The massage i received was a deep tissue very painful massage by a man who refused to leave the room when i was undressing, felt very uncomfortable and again no means of communicating! They took no information about health or wellbeing and didn’t take names just room number……. A spa that needs massive improvement, wouldn’t go back and advise caution to anyone considering using it!
The outdoor pool and sun beds were good, very clean, very enjoyable and the evening entertainment was good when guest acts were included, like Turkish dancers and belly dancers!
Overall a hotel in desperate need of upgrading in both rooms and services. Not somewhere i would return!
Poor hotel. Food was terrible and repetitive, nothing labeled in the restaurant. Very limited drinks selection.
Toilets by the pool had drainage problems so we couldn’t use them due to the bad smell.
Air conditioning in restaurant was poor and no air conditioning at all in some parts of the hotel.
4 out of 6 family members became poorly with upset stomachs. Not a great experience.
Also, too far from the centre of Kemer.
Let the photos speak for themselves. I don't know who allows people to be housed in such conditions... Dirt, black mold, and rust. The food selection at meals is limited. The service is nice, but that's normal here
I stayed at Club Hotel Sunbel from May 24-26, 2026. I am writing this detailed review as a warning, because my experience was not just disappointing—it was unacceptable.
The safety failure is the reason for this review. On the first night, a man in the adjacent room started screaming violently, making extreme threats, and I could clearly hear a woman crying and the sound of slapping. This terror lasted for over 1.5 hours, with him shouting he would "burn the hotel down." I immediately informed reception that a woman was at severe risk. The staff’s response was a brief and ineffective knock on the door, after which they told me "everything is fine" and walked away while the man continued his violent outbursts. Fearing for my own safety and receiving no support, I decided to leave the hotel.
The next day, Manager Serhat Sungur showed no concern for my well-being or the traumatic event. He was immediately defensive, interrupted me, and claimed the hotel had no ability to act unless the victim (who was being attacked) filed a complaint. This is a profound failure of basic duty of care and public safety responsibility. A hotel that cannot ensure guest safety or handle a clear, ongoing violent disturbance should not operate.
Other points that add to the negative experience:
· Misleading Inclusions: The reservation stated "food and drinks included," yet there wasn't even a complimentary bottle of water in the room. When I asked, I was simply told, "We have no such commitment." · Quality: The complimentary drinks offered at the bar were of poor quality.
The region is lovely, but this hotel dismisses valid safety concerns, and fails to deliver on its most basic promises. I advise looking elsewhere.
I would like to express my disappointment regarding our stay at Club Hotel Sunbel.
First of all, the hotel is advertised on Booking.com as an adults-only hotel. However, this is simply not true. There are many children staying at the hotel, and during our stay we have seen far more children than expected. Additionally, the hotel advertises a fitness center, but we have not been able to find any gym at all.
Secondly, most of the staff are not friendly, and only a few employees speak English, which makes communication very difficult.
The most disappointing experience happened today. We booked an excursion through the tour representative at the hotel. In every hotel we have stayed at before, guests leaving early for an excursion receive a packed breakfast. Here, we were given four food containers and were told that we could enter the restaurant before breakfast officially opened and prepare our own breakfast to take with us.
We did exactly as instructed. While we were preparing our food, the restaurant manager approached us in an extremely rude and upset manner, saying that we were not allowed to eat there and take food away.
At that point, my father and I had only one sandwich each, which we were eating while standing. We decided to finish our drinks at the reception while my siblings tried to finish the food they had already taken. The restaurant manager stood over them, rushing them to finish because, according to him, it was now the staff’s breakfast time. We completely understand that the staff also need time to eat, but we were simply following the instructions that had been given to us by the hotel, and we did not ask the staff for any additional service.
While we were at the reception making ourselves a coffee, my father wanted to get some fruit juice from the 24-hour drink machine. He was told that he could not use it because it would only be available one hour later. This was very confusing, especially since it is advertised as being available 24 hours a day.
The day before, after breakfast, we asked for empty reusable glasses from the beach bar because the paper cups fall apart after only a few minutes. The staff reacted very rudely and asked why we needed glasses, telling us that there were glasses inside the restaurant. This was another unnecessary and unpleasant interaction.
Overall, my family and I are extremely disappointed with this hotel. The customer service has been poor, the staff’s attitude has been unfriendly, and several of the hotel’s advertised facilities and descriptions are misleading. We could have spent our money at many other hotels where guests are treated with respect.
We still have four days remaining of our stay, and we sincerely hope that we will not experience any further unpleasant situations.
We expect this complaint to be taken seriously and would appreciate your response.
