This impressive resort hotel is set amidst beautiful gardens, lying on a pebble beach in Kemer. The hotel is located just a short distance away from a host of shopping and entertainment venues. Guests will find themselves in a great setting from which to explore the wonders of the area. Links to the public transport network are available nearby. This charming hotel tempts guests into a veritable lap of luxury. The guest rooms are sumptuously designed, offering a cocoon of peace and serenity, in which to completely unwind at the end of the day. Guests will appreacite the host of facilities and services that the hotel has to offer.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! The rooms were wery clean and comfortable and the staff was always polite and friendly. the breakfasts were delicious and varied and the hotel area was well maintained and beautiful. We especially enjoyed the peaceful. The location was excellent- everything was nearby. We would gladly come back again and higly recommend this hotel to our friends!
By Western standards, this hotel is definitely not a 5-star or even a 4-star property. The reception and all the staff we interacted with speak only Russian. Interestingly, the check-in/out info at reception is only in Russian, but room directions are in English.
If you choose a Promo room, you will face some downsides, such as: -The room is on the minus 1 (-1) floor. -A terrible drainage smell that was not fixed. But the staff said that it is already standart. So it means that unhygienic climate is standart for 5stars... -Chickens and a rooster outside the window, crowing from 3 AM every 20 minutes (their feeding area is right there). -However, our Anex Tour contact person, Jurgita, helped us change the room for an extra fee. But in the same time tour operator haven't make a note anywhere about these specifications. At the hotel said that this info is on the page but in reality it wasn't.
Overall minuses: -Bars have no cocktail menus available (you can only see them on the staff's phones). -The food is quite monotonous and repetitive. -Mostly lukewarm water in the rooms. -Unfortunately, the bathroom sink and taps have a very visible calcium buildup. -unhelpful staff. -There is no clear information regarding the location of the spa center; it is completely unmarked. The reception staff told us twice that the spa (where you collect towels) is located below the dining area. However, since the dining area is already on the basement level, this was confusing. There were absolutely no signs indicating that the spa center is actually hidden behind the dining area. Pluses: Close to the sea.
FYI for hotel staff : please don't response standart responses as you do because it doesn't matter because as we see for other negative responses nothing change because you don't care. Thanks we will never go to your hotel and don't recommend your facilities to anyone.
We stayed at the hotel with our family and really enjoyed it. The hotel has two lines; we stayed on the second line, which was clean and cozy. There's a tunnel connecting to the first line. The main restaurant and entertainment are on the first line.Even though we stayed on the second line, the crossing didn't take long. The rooms were clean and serviced daily. The food in the restaurant was delicious, although not very varied. The entertainment was active and very interesting. Thanks to the reception staff, they put me in a nice room with a nice view, and I would also like to thank Aiza for the very quick and efficient arrangement of the transfer.
⭐☆☆☆☆ 3/10 – Not a 5-Star Experience at Armas Beach Hotel
We arrived early in the morning and were informed that we would have to wait until 2:00 PM for our room because there were supposedly no rooms available. However, we noticed that guests who left a tip at the reception received their rooms much sooner. In my opinion, such a practice is unacceptable for a hotel that presents itself as a 5-star property.
Almost every morning, we found cockroaches in the shower. They were usually lying on their backs but were still alive and moving. This created a very unpleasant impression and made us question the hotel's hygiene standards.
We stayed in a semi-basement room on the ground floor at Armas Beach Hotel. Getting a good night's sleep was difficult because intoxicated Russian-speaking guests returning late at night would gather near the elevator, talking loudly and using foul language. The noise frequently woke us up and disturbed our rest.
The only positive aspect was the room cleaning service. I have no complaints in that regard. However, there were far more negatives than positives.
We travel quite frequently and have stayed in many hotels, but this was the first time we had such a disappointing experience. Considering that Armas Beach Hotel is marketed as a 5-star hotel, I would rate it no higher than 3 out of 10.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Armas Beach Hotel to other travelers.
For the price-point, this is a very good all-inclusive hotel. The food offerings for lunch and dinner had a lot of options and they changed the menu around so you didn't get too bored with the food. Of note though, you had to go to meals immediately when the buffet opened, otherwise everything is gone in an hour (it was really remarkable watching the mad dash at meal time - I kept envisioning locusts). The buffet meats are mostly chicken, turkey, and fish. I loved watching the pizza guys - they looked so serene and calm. They also had snacks available outside of the regular buffet time - during the day burgers, ice cream, sandwiches, pastries, and a local crepe style dish and overnight they had two soup options. The alcohol is local and if you want better/more drinkable options, you have to bring your own. They also measure their pours so you only get at most an ounce or 1.5 for cocktails - we made the bartenders run a lot since we only drink neat spirits. The beach is on the smaller side (but big for Kemer) and is a pebble/rock beach, not sand. Some people may want to use water shoes, but I was fine without. The water is beautiful - crystal clear and only small waves. You can stand up to your chin in the ocean and still see your feet. For the rooms, we stayed on the beach side. The beach side rooms are nearer to most activities, except the waterslides, lobby, and lobby bar. Our room was small with a private balcony. There were two beds - one a twin and the other one a very small double (barely fit two people - we are both tall). The rooms can fit three people, but it is a small space. It is very family oriented and geared towards an exclusively Russian/Turkish cliental. There were a lot of children and lots of child-friendly activities. I met very few English speakers while there, but some of the bartenders and the desk staff all spoke English. We tried to tour their sister hotel, Armas Beach, two doors down, and our hotel, Gul Beach, seemed to have a lot more to offer visitors.
