- Orfeus Park Hotel

The hotel is located just 550 metres away from the beach and around 55 km away from Antalya Airport, while the historic village and resort of Side is just 10 km away and easily reached by public transport which runs in front of the hotel. Some local amenities such as shops and restaurants can be found in Colakli approximately 1.5 km from the hotel. Built in 2005, the hotel was inspired by Greek Mythology. It has one central building and 8 annexe buildings with 300 rooms. It is a great resort for a holiday full of aquatic fun. It has a swimming pool, a children's pool, a covered pool, 2 water slides and a pool bar with sun loungers and parasols which guests can use to work on their tan. In addition there are some sports facilities available, such as tennis courts and a pool table. Some waters ports are available on the nearby beach.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The rooms are very basic. When we were booking the hotel through travel agency, we insisted that we need to have single bed for our five year old. Unfortunately when we arrived at the hotel, we got the room with sleeping sofa. We asked for a bed but we needed to pay additional 80 eur. The pool area is very crowded, you actually need to reserve a sun bed by putting your towel on it early in the morning. The restaurant is very crowded and you constantly have to wait in a line to get the food which is quite annoying. The animation is done very poorly and shortly. So all in all I think you can get better value for your money. I would not book this hotel again.
A large family group, they did not have enough rooms for us on arrival so had to share a family room till the next day, but was given nicer rooms. Wasn’t the cleanest of places. I would say 3 star. A nice area 10 min walk to beach, another 10 mins the other way and u have a supermarket and place to eat as well as lots of the usual shops. 30 mins drive to old town which was lovely with the harbour and restaurants and seeing the ruins.
So what you have to know beforehand. There’s 3 orfeus park, orfeus queen, and orfeus armin. Same hotel but different buildings. First you gonna have to explore to find your way around the different buildings cause you can cross the streets or take the underground tunnel. The receptions at every different building don’t speak English that good. For the rest once you get your wristband you have access to every pool( there’s 3 or 4 of them), the spa where you get a massage ( its paid but prices are negotiable 😂) fitness ( bad equipment), alot of other stuff. You can eat at every hotels restaurant 👌🏾
We’ve had a lovely few days away, it’s been a little bit more quiet being out of season but we like it like this. Even though it’s been quieter the animation crew have been great getting us involved in activities. The food has been great and drinks flowing! Would love to come back!
Our holiday here was lovely and relaxing. There was good choice of food in the restaurant, our room was clean and spacious. The animation team were really fun. It was only a short break but we thoroughly enjoyed our time here, would recommend!
