Great hotel very clean Staff very friendly and helpful Entertainment team try loads to get people involved Food is ok could do with yoghurt and ice cream in restaurant at meal times Drinks ok normal all inclusive ones cocktails and ice creams need to buy We had a great time
The hotel in itself is fine.
The cleanliness of the pool area needs improving always a sticky part of the floor in the mornings and rubbish lay around in the morning.
The rooms are quite small but plenty of wardrobe space to put all your clothes. Shower is super powerful loved it. The beds are awful, really over firm could feel springs digging into me, really bad nights sleep every night. The balcony is tiny and has the worst feature of locking you out if you close the door after yourself.
Cleanliness of the rooms is fine and well accepted within the price we paid, when we checked in the bathroom smelled a bit damp but I ran the water for a while and the smell went away. The Aircon is really good and cools the room quickly but if you want it to run all day which we did, take another card to put in the slot and it will.
Bar staff are lovely and friendly.
Breakfast as a Brit was a struggle. I am not a fussy eater whatsoever, but I struggled to find something hot most mornings. My little girl loved it though. None of the food is labelled so it's kind of a lucky dip. Lunch is much better, have the rice it's amazing. Again nothing labeled. Plenty of cold options. Dinner was consistent. plenty of Turkish meat dishes. If you are lucky enough for them to do a gala dinner when you are there then you are in luck, it was easily in my top 5 meals of all time. They had kebab stations all over the place, kofte, chicken doner, beef, lamb, fresh flatbread, all cooked in front of you. The effort that went into it was truly incredible and the food was out of this world, don't think I've been as full off of a meal in my life.
The beer on tap is tuborg, didn't try the sprits, or wine, soft drinks are all good, the cups you get are rubbish so ask for a second cup to keep it a bit sturdy.
The location isn't the best it's a 600lira taxi to kemer centre where other bars and the marina are.
The private beach again is fine although drinks are not included when you go onto it, the waves are a bit mad for children swimming and a lot calmer in kemer.
Supermarkets outside the hotel are very overpriced. I'd recommend going to a Migos in kemer centre for room snacks, drinks etc.
If you need home comforts staying in kemer is not for you, it is a very eastern european/Turkish holidaymakers resort, which was fine for us, but can see it being a issue for some.
The main complaint I have is about the self locking sliding doors which I mentioned earlier, on our second night we were sat on the balcony, my son (5) walked out closed the door behind him, this was before we knew they locked, obviously couldn't get back in. Tried ringing reception, all I got back was she didn't speak English, had to shout down to the bar downstairs to assist. Very embarrassing but little bit funny situation. Could have been worse but definitely could have been handled better by the hotel.
If you are coming we recommend: Turkish spa, very well looked after, very relaxing experience and good with the kids. Cost us £120 for a family of four 3 hours Kingdom of the sea, brilliant waterpark, all inclusive, food was brilliant, better drink selection than at the hotel, slides were great, the kids pool is massive and can tell that what it's geared up to, you can swim in a massive pool with fish and stingray which was very cool. Running through the sprinklers on the football pitch when they turn them on, really fun and the kids loved it.
Tl;Dr Location bad Food good Patio doors bad Running though sprinkles good
Music is that loud around the pool started to get hearing pain, measured it on the phone and it’s above 90db it’s like being at a concert when all I want to do is relax. Food shocking
We are currently here at Viking park hotel and the negatives just keep on coming. I just don't know where to start. It's one of the dirtiest places I've ever stayed and I'm a seasoned traveller. The food is horrendous. Lukewarm at best and that's if you can find anything decent or different to eat. There's always a rush to get a table and food in the evenings, as they're not enough for loads of hungry people at 7pm. Food is served to late. Especially for children. The afternoon snacks are just soggy buns, cold floppy burgers and lettuce and tomatoes. Maybe a few cold chips. They're no ice creams for children at all, unless you pay 3 euros for one. The drinks are VERY limited. For alcohol drinks you have a choice of vodka, something called rakie, gin or wine. Soft drinks are cola, sickly orangeade or water. Tea or coffee. No milk for tea in the lunch time. We got 4 small bottles of water when we arrived and when asked for more we were told to refill from the tap. The staff are slow and miserable most of the time. Beds are like concrete. The noise levels at night past 12 are horrendous, with some sort of extra load music playing till at least 2am. The pool is extra COLD. You risk hyperthermia if you go in. The area around the pool is so dirty the bottom of our feet are black. I could go on. Do yourself a favour and find a much nicer place than this. Worsed holiday ever!!!!
stayed at Viking Park Hotel in Turkey, which was advertised on your website as a 4-star hotel. However, in reality, it was far from that standard — I would rate it at most 2 stars.
There were numerous issues during my stay: • Plates, bowls, and cutlery were often missing, and guests had to search for them. • Cleanliness in the dining area was unacceptable. • The description stated that there would be a deposit system for towels, but instead we had to buy them. • The offer mentioned entertainment, but every night there was only a disco, and no morning activities (such as poolside fitness) took place. • We reported these issues to your local representative, but we were told that “nothing could be done • The bartender was so busy talking on the phone all the time that he gave my 10-year-old daughter a beer instead of Fanta
