⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable holiday at L’Oceanica Beach Resort! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our stay at L’Oceanica Beach Resort was truly exceptional from beginning to end. The resort is absolutely beautiful, with stunning surroundings, a wonderful atmosphere, and everything you need for a perfect holiday.

The staff deserve special praise. They were incredibly friendly, professional, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their excellent service made us feel truly valued and well taken care of throughout our entire stay.

The food was delicious, with a great variety of choices, and the resort offered plenty of activities and entertainment for both adults and children. The beautiful location and relaxing atmosphere made it easy to enjoy every moment.

5-Star Expectations, 3-Star Reality: A Disappointing Ultra All Inclusive Experience

We chose this resort based on its 5-star rating and Ultra All Inclusive concept, but unfortunately our experience fell well below expectations.

The first thing that surprised us was that, apart from bottled water, almost all drinks were served in plastic cups. What made this even more confusing was seeing other guests being served in glassware. In addition, all soft drinks came from dispensers, which is not what we would expect from a 5-star Ultra All Inclusive property.

The quality of the alcoholic beverages was also disappointing. The selection was limited, the drinks felt low-end, and they certainly did not reflect the standards usually associated with a premium Ultra All Inclusive experience.

Communication was a constant challenge throughout our stay. Apart from one or two reception staff members who spoke reasonable English, most employees were unable to communicate effectively in English. On several occasions, we had to rely on translation apps or even gestures to obtain simple things such as a drink or basic assistance.

The resort appears to be heavily focused on Russian-speaking guests. Waiters, entertainers, and other staff members would often address us directly in Russian without first asking which language we spoke. Many children’s activities were explained only in Russian, making it difficult for international families to participate. Even the music played during resort events and parties was predominantly Russian, whereas we expected a more international atmosphere or at least a mix including Turkish music.

Other disappointing aspects included unpleasant garbage-like odors in some hallways, the absence of drink menus at the bars, a lack of fresh juices or natural fruit juices for children, and bars closing as early as 11:00 PM.

In terms of facilities, the resort felt rather modest for a property marketed as a 5-star Ultra All Inclusive destination: only two pools, two water slides, and two bars. At the spa, pricing appeared inconsistent, with staff seemingly negotiating rates differently from one guest to another, which did not inspire confidence or professionalism.

Overall, we do not believe this resort delivers the experience one would expect from a 5-star Ultra All Inclusive hotel. We have stayed in several 4-star resorts in Bulgaria that offered better service, more facilities, and a stronger focus on guest satisfaction.

Not everything was negative, but the gap between expectations and reality was significant. Unfortunately, what was meant to be a relaxing holiday turned into a disappointing experience, and we left feeling that neither the rating nor the price paid were justified.

disappointed with L'Oceanica Beach Resort Hotel Camyuva

We paid for the arrangement for this hotel because it stated that it had 5 stars. The hotel does not deserve 5 stars, 3 maybe in some aspects 3.5. The hotel is old. With uneven additions in the corridors. To get a beach towel you have to leave a deposit of 10 eu at the reception!? You can only get a towel once a day and that is from 9-11 am and from 3-4 pm. So only 3 hours a day are available for getting a clean towel. If you can't go to the hotel at that time, you will be left without a towel. To get to the beach you have to go through the road of vehicles. You also have to go past the other Armas hotel, and finally get to the beach?! This should not happen in a 5 star hotel. We are very disappointed, and we will never go to this hotel again. The beach is for non smoking people however there were people on the beach who smoked a lot. Nobody from the staff took care about it

An excellent place for a quiet family vacation!!! The best hotel in this price segment!

The hotel L'Oceanica left us with the warmest and most vivid impressions! A huge thank you to the entire hotel staff for creating such a warm and friendly atmosphere. When you arrive for the first time, it feels like you're joining a family where you're surrounded by care and attention! Everyone works tirelessly, always smiles, and resolves any request in the shortest possible time.

The beach is sandy-pebbly. The hotel is compact and very cozy, and the beach has enough sun loungers for all guests. Buffet — the food is varied, with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, a good selection of meat and fish (the fish is a bit dry, but that's typical for most restaurants in Turkey since it's grilled), delicious desserts and baklava, lots of snacks and stewed vegetables. I can also add that they serve decent local Chardonnay of quite good quality. Spa center: I want to especially mention the masseuse Sumaya — after her massage, my neck and shoulder pain completely disappeared. I highly recommend visiting the spa; the prices are very reasonable, and you can book a course of massages. All the staff are great — friendly and professional. The animation is unobtrusive. They organize plenty of activities for both children and adults. The team does a great job, and in the evenings there’s an interesting show program. There’s also a hookah master who makes really tasty hookahs.

The hotel’s price-to-quality ratio exceeded all my expectations. The variety of services and the quality of the food deserve the highest praise. I thank the whole team and all the hotel staff for their excellent coordinated work. Special thanks for the room upgrade — we were given a spacious room with a sea view. Some guests mention in reviews that the room cleaning isn’t great, but you can overlook it. In any case, everything is quickly resolved through Reception if needed. A few suggestions for improving the service:

It would be nice to have a separate à la carte restaurant on the premises for a more intimate evening with a bottle of wine and beautiful table setting. Room cleaning quality needs improvement.

Overall, the hotel is more of a solid 4-star** than a true 5-star.

Boot camp fior fast learning Russian

The hotel is close to the beach, you need to cross over a little road near another hotel (Armas Labada) and you reach first the beach bar and then go down a few stairs and you are on hotel's beach. Be prepared with special shoes because is a stone beach and also getting into the water might be hard, even if you have special entries for make it easier for going in and out of the water. There is also a special place where you can go directly to swim.  The sunbeds are free, for towels you need to pay a deposit of 10 dollars each towel, which will be refunded at check out. Also be prepared to have no intimacy because there is almost no space between sunbeds.  The hotel has an annex slightly across the street which I recommend it because is a little quieter than the main building. Here all the shows are in the amphitheater which is located in the front of the reception, near bars and under the balconies of some rooms. In this hotel if you do not speak Russian you will feel like you are in a boot camp for intensive Russian language learning, which is annoying for a normal tourist who is expecting to find at the reception, bars, English speakers employees very easy and not to expect to call for one. Dear management of L'oceanica, is very praisable that you find a way to meet the expectations of your Russian tourists, but remember that in quality tourism, English is a must and Turkey is famous for hospitality and quality tourism, but unfortunately here I can not offer thumbs up. What you need to know: the concept of ultra all inclusive has changed lately so if at the bars you can find all kinds of drinks, even JB whiskey, but a Turkish coffee is chargeable, 3 dollars or euros paid at the bar or by card at the reception. The minibar is free only at the check in, the fridge is full with juice, soda but the instant coffee, creamer and tea is free just the first day. Is for the first time when I find a hotel that gives you only at the check in, without refilling this every morning. You will find slippers in the room and vanity kit, also toiletries - refilled every day if you are lucky enough  They are not very carefull about replacing the towels, they forgot some towels someday, and also the water, that should be daily refilled. But water you find in big or small bottles to each bar in the annex by the pool and in the main building or at the beach bar. Unfortunately last 2 days no house keeping and I need to ask for toilet paper at least or shower gel. Regarding food: there is also Turkish pie making almost every day in the morning at the beach bar. Snack bar also is with a full of options. Also frappe  may find, with a more milky drink than a frappe.  The restaurant has a lot of food, some of the dishes are everyday as chicken, turkey and salmon. Plenty of fresh fruits, salads and ice cream-lunch and dinner.  For a country with a lot of seafood only salmon except a dinner in a week when quite a few sortinments of fish were available. An interesting aspect is the late dinner which is a big plus especially when you check in late or come late from a trip. It starts at 23 o'clock, very few options, unfortunately not vegetarian friendly.  The entertainment is good,  every night different show, some of them held at the pool in the annex building like foam party or live music. Congrats entertainment team, I do recommend though English speaking as well because Russian is hard to be understood by all.  Spa is the place where you change the towels and you can find some good deals. I didn't. But I highly recommend the Spa and the employees from the hotel next to L'Oceanica on your way to the beach-Armas Labada. If at the hotel I could not go under 40euro for a simple massage and the attitude was not exactly professional one, at Armas Labada hotel a 60 min was 25 Dollars, a very good reflexology.  Nearby the hotel you can find some stores and behind the annex building is a Migros market-fixed prices where you can find even water shoes around 350 Lira, less then 7 euros and at the other stores more than 10 euro. Also souvenirs at decent prices. Another minus is the fact that they do not offer breakfast to go, when you have an early pick up and  it was necessary a lot of arguments to make them prepare something for breakfast.

In conclusion, a good hotel, with a lot of sortiments of food, with hard working employees at the restaurants and bars, even entertainment but it is needed to upgrade to English if the management is interested in quality tourism, also to set some basic rules and be assured that the quests, especially Russian ones are respecting ( for instance to forgidden the acces in the restaurants with beach clothes, especially wet ones, which is not normal for a regular quest to have problems in finding a dry chair to sit).
