Voyage Belek: A Special Return, But Not Quite the Same Magic
We have just returned from our third visit to Voyage Belek. We first visited 15 years ago for our honeymoon and were absolutely blown away by the hotel. From that point on, every holiday was measured against the standards set by Voyage.
We returned again in 2019 after the hotel had undergone a major refurbishment and were even more impressed by the changes and upgrades that had been made. So, when it came to celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and two milestone birthdays this year, Voyage Belek seemed the obvious choice.
However, there was always a risk that a third visit might not live up to our memories. While we still had a very good holiday, it didn't quite match our previous experiences at the hotel compared to some other hotels we have visited in recent years.
The Staff
Without question, the staff are the hotel's greatest asset. They are the best hotel team we have encountered anywhere in the world, and we were genuinely humbled by how hard they work and how much they care about the guests' experience.
Two members of staff in particular stood out, although unfortunately we did not get their names.
The first greeted us when we arrived late in the evening to check in. He may have been part of the Guest Relations team. He was bald, of average height, and absolutely outstanding. He had arranged a room upgrade, along with balloons, chocolates and a bottle of bubbly waiting in our room, which was a wonderful touch. Throughout our stay he regularly checked in with us to see how things were going and seemed genuinely interested in our feedback.
A week into our holiday, he even found us by the pool and invited us to dine at the Italian à la carte restaurant free of charge that evening. When we arrived, he had arranged for our table to be decorated with rose petals, making the evening feel truly special.
The second staff member worked around the adult pool and beach area, keeping everything clean and tidy. He spoke to us every day and was a genuinely lovely person who clearly took great pride in both his work and ensuring guests had a good experience.
The Guests
This is where our experience began to decline slightly.
During our previous visits, the hotel had a great mix of nationalities, which created a welcoming and diverse atmosphere. This time, however, the guest demographic had changed significantly, with the vast majority of guests appearing to come from one country.
Unfortunately, we found many of these guests to be rude and dismissive towards staff, often treating them with little respect. There were still guests from other countries, including the UK, but the international mix that we had enjoyed on previous visits was not as evident, and the atmosphere felt different as a result.
The Hotel
At times, the hotel felt a little style over substance, with some basic standards not being consistently delivered.
For example, the television is built into a large mirror, which looked impressive when first introduced, but seven years later the TVs feel small compared to those in many competing hotels and do not offer the ability to stream services such as Netflix.
Housekeeping and room replenishment were inconsistent throughout our stay. On different days we found ourselves without coffee, coffee whitener, beer, water or shower gel. To be fair, whenever we reported these issues through the virtual assistant service they were resolved quickly, but these are basic expectations that ideally should not need to be reported.
The pillows were good quality but quite firm, so a pillow menu would have been a welcome addition.
We also felt the buffet restaurant had declined since our previous visits. There appeared to be less choice, and the quality and temperature of the food was not as good as we remembered. In contrast, Cuisine 24 was excellent, offering freshly cooked food 24 hours a day and often providing a better dining experience.
The Patisserie remains fantastic, with a great selection of high-quality cakes and pastries, while the bars offer an excellent choice of premium drinks and cocktails.
Bar service could be a little inconsistent at times, and staff occasionally seemed stretched compared to what we have experienced there in the past. We did, however, appreciate the QR code ordering service available around the pools and beach, alongside the traditional waiter service.
One other minor issue was an occasional sewage smell in certain parts of the hotel. It never lasted long, but it was noticeable and not particularly pleasant when it occurred.
Overall
For many guests, this hotel will still be exceptional, and we absolutely understand why it continues to receive such positive reviews.
For us, however, some of the sparkle and charm that made Voyage Belek stand out has faded slightly. While the hotel remains very good, it feels as though some competitors have continued to evolve and improve, whereas Voyage Belek has perhaps stood still in certain areas.
That said, our sincere thanks go to all of the wonderful staff. Their professionalism, warmth and dedication are what continue to make Voyage Belek a special place to holiday, and they remain the reason we would consider returning in the future.

Very good standard of Hotel
We have just got back from a week here at the Voyage and have enjoyed the experience.
I wouldn't say it's the absolute best we have been to in Belek in this price range, but it performs really well
Positives The staff, from the pool man at the adult pool, cleaners to the assistants are excellent. Mostly all friendly, helpful
QR codes for ordering drinks all work, waiters are superb that bring your drinks
Rooms, we stayed in block A, yes maybe a little in need of some minor touch ups but kept very clean, and everything worked
The main buffet is well designed, food in general always warm or hot and being re stocked even at 9.15 when it closes at 9.30
Excellent choice of drinks all included, cocktails pretty consistent regardless of bar visiting, or ask if a drink isn't on the menu and they will make it The grounds are immaculate
The pools are clean, as are the loungers even after bad storms
We had to ask for the complimentary beach bag and ironing board and they arrived within an hour
Some negatives, bit not deal breakers and only a personal view
The set up of cups, glasses and restocking of mini bar is very sporadic, for example first 3 days we only had one drinking glass between two of us, but 7, yes seven bath towels? Itens we used were not replenished, such as particular tea bags, whilst ones we didn't use seemed to multiply? Little things like the coffee cups in the room didn't match and some looked like they had come from a cheap cafe, little things that you notice some other hotels get right
We tried two a la carte, both payable but a very reasonable 600TL each. Both were very good, especially the Turkish, but nothing special with we felt more limited menu choice than other hotels in this price range
The air conditioner turns itself back on every time you close your front door or balcony, meaning your room is cold when you get back, ok in summer but not so much in a cooler October week
During our week we had some bad weather, especially a full day's storm with horrendous rain and winds, the staff and hotel was superb, providing all guests with umbrellas etc. The day after the hotel was immaculate again, a real credit to their hard work
All in all the Voyage is certainly worth it's 5 stars and reputation. We did meet many returning guests who said it's not quite what it used to be, but as first timers here we would t have noticed Well done to all the staff here, they make the difference

Sensational scenes
We had an absolutely fantastic time during our stay at Voyage Belek! A huge thank you to the entire team, but a special mention must go to Sarvenaz and Fırat. From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm and brilliant welcome that set the tone for the entire trip. Sarvenaz and Fırat were incredible throughout—effortlessly sorting out all our à la carte restaurant reservations and handling every single request from our group with efficiency, care, and a smile. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The resort, amenities, and hospitality exceeded our expectations, making it a genuinely memorable break for all of us. We had a great time and can't wait to return. Thank you, Sarvenaz, Fırat, and team Voyage Belek!
A M A Z I N G!!!!
We visited this hotel as a family of 5, along with 3 of our friends to celebrate my 50th Birthday (20th September for 8 nights). I had emailed the hotel in advance to explain we were celebrating my 50th birthday and if there was a chance of a room with a nice view. However, the view we had was not great at all and resembled a garage block and I did initially feel disappointed. In fairness to the hotel my request/birthday celebration had not been noted on the system and the only possible room change was two floors up so didn't seem worth it!
However...wow! My initial disappointment with the view soon paled into insignificance! This hotel is amazing and the best hotel we have stayed in to date. It is impeccably clean but what stood out to us the most was the level of service we received in all areas. We received a complimentary dinner at one of the A La Carte restaurants for my 50th birthday, we opted for the chinese which was amazing! I have coeliac disease and made a mistake with my food choices on the first couple of days, on day 3 I asked to speak to the Chef and was introduced to Aylin, who is the hotel dietician and was literally my saviour. I was able to message her each day with requirements for my meals and these were specially cooked by the Chef for myself to ensure gluten free. Absolutely Amazing! The pool area is very spacious and we could literally arrive at anytime and there would be plenty of available loungers. We loved that the waiters brought our drinks on rollerblades and we were very well looked after by Zeki and another waiter whose name I did not get, but he is amazing with a camera and has taken some fabulous holiday photos for us. There are plenty of fridges scattered around the complex, all fully stocked with waters and soft drinks. We literally wanted for nothing and if we did require extra towels or waters in the room we used the messaging service on the Voyage App that is given to you on check-in and all requests were promptly dealt with. We could not fault a thing!. In the evening we headed to the Adult only section where entertainment starts around 9:45-10pm and the level of entertainment was amazing! We particularly enjoyed The Cotton Club and we were really pleased that a dance floor area was created on the DJ nights and we had the best time dancing with our daughters and friends. But the main reason we have written this review is because of the waiter Sedat (picture attached). He ensured we were all seated together as a family, remembered our drinks, interacted with us all as a family and we felt extremely well looked after. Despite my initial disappointment, I honestly cannot fault this hotel and it is the first hotel we have said that we would 100% return to.
