- Siam Elegance Hotel and Spa

Located in the Bogazkent district on Turkey's southern coast, this luxurious establishment is just a 10-minute drive from Belek. The city of Antalya with its modern shopping centres, old city (Kaleici) and harbour is 49 kilometres away. This charming property, built in 2008, boasts a design inspired by the architecture and philosophy of the Far East and is a paradise for families and children. Spanning a total area of 3 ha the hotel features a choice of delicious culinary options, entertainment venues and relaxing activities. The outdoor complex contains a couple of pools and a stunning water park. Guests staying at this wonderful accommodation may enjoy the private beach, just a few steps away.
This hotel has some great features, but also room for improvement. The rooms were good—they were new and properly cleaned—but the food was disappointing at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was repetitive, and there weren’t many options to choose from. Additionally, the outside areas and the restaurant were dirty; plates weren’t cleared quickly. However, I want to highlight the drinks—they were excellent. You could enjoy both imported and local beverages. The hotel had a lot of Turkish guests, and there’s a very good shopping area nearby. Also, you need to reserve sunbeds near the pools to get good ones. The entertainment team was also enjoyable. Overall, I wouldn’t return to this hotel.
Very impressed with the hotel , the food is always fresh woth loads of options lovely rooms for a family of 5. But especially the animation team , they have been so nice, friendly , fabulous entertainment and great with our 3 boys. We will remember them always , core family memories made.
The food was always the same, with very little variety. It was mostly rice, mashed potatoes, and chicken, and there was never any beef. There were hardly any options to choose from when it came to food. For a hotel stay, I expected much more variety and a wider selection of meals.
Its a very nice place. Very well placed because its near the beach and has an Aqua park. Atmosphere wise its really good but really hot so a handheld fan is a good idea. The Rooms are big enough for four persons and such but we were promised a larger room with two showers. It wasnt a big problem so its alright. The food was also good but hygenicly speaking there were some flies on the food which disgusted me a little but other than that the food was good. The employees are also really really nice and fun to hangout with. They are very much the socialy active type so it was already alot livelier.
We just left the hotel so you should consider this review as very fresh one. We stayed at Siam from 13th until 20th, and during our 7-day stay I was wondering how this hotel can have 5 star. I was even searching over the web was the hotel audited by 3rd party or just gave themselves these 5 stars.
Hotel staff was very unprofessional, starting from loosey-goosey uniforms finishing with their communication with client. On 13th of August we got to the hotel 2 hour prior official check in time, we were pleasantly welcomed by bellboy and asked to wait until rooms are cleaned and prepared. Hotel was informed beforehand by our tour operator that rooms must be next to each other. They tied bracelets and informed that we can have lunch until rooms are prepared. It was good at first, and we went down for a lunch. After the lunch we approached reception at 13:30 to ask about possibility of early check in as we were really tired. Reception guy told us to wait until 14:00, as they cannot contact room cleaners and do not know status of the rooms, which was a bit surprising but okay we decided to wait. After 14:00 we saw that guests who came after us were already led to their rooms, and no one was approaching us. We decided to ask again on readiness of the rooms, and got same answer that there is no contact with room cleaners and they do not know when check in will happen, and that we have to wait more. They said that it can even take up to 1 hour to prepare rooms which were planned at first for us. So we claimed that in that case, the more we will wait for check in, the more they will wait for us for check out, which they refused saying that check in "starts" at 14:00 but check out must be before 12:00. Although we thought that as in most normal hotels front desk manager will come and solve the question, Yasar Aksit just repeated same nonsense and rudely claimed that client is never right, that check in starts at 14:00 and its on them on when rooms are given to the guests. They behave as if you don't like you are free to leave.
Anyway, he offered two ready rooms instead the ones which we were prepared, and we accepted. First we thought that problem is solved, but when we got into the rooms, we understood that Yasar Aksit (those frond desk manager who is as he said always right) intentionally gave us the most bad rooms they had at the moment. In one room, the balcony was looking to the grill zone which in the end filled the room with smoke, second one had old wallpapers, broken wardrobe (doors were not sliding) and etc.
After our complaints, next shift manager changed the room looking to the bbq area. Other room was left as it is, with broken wardrobe, teared wallpapers and etc.
Food and bar - levels very low, during our 7 day stay most of the food was repeated while menu was very poor. Bar is also very poor, bartenders even do not know properly recipes of the cocktails, mixing in all cases everything either with juices or sprite/mineral water. It more looks like homemade cocktails with what you have rather than professional cocktails.
Wifi area is limited, you do not have proper internet in all the area, especially at the beachside very difficult to catch wifi.
Rooms are not cleaned properly, our same towels were just properly hand again and again, even though they had sunscreen cream or dirt over it and one should understand that you need to change it. Blanket used was just towels which was surprising for a 5 star hotel.
Ventilation is not working properly, you can always smell food even after lunch time or smell in it in the rooms.
Overall, hotel is good for stay if staff is trained and rooms are fixed, but again it is not a 5 star hotel, 4 at maximum. Staff like Yashar Aksit should be trained on how to work with people, in the end people like him ruin brand image.
