Sensitive Premium Resort and Spa

Had a really enjoyable holiday here. However there are certain things that require improvement.

Arrived at around 3am and receptionist was polite and efficient and showed us straight to our room.

First impressions were great.

Hotel is beautiful and the public areas are spotless. Plenty of seating areas in the hotel where you sit and chat over coffee or drinks from the bar.

Food is abundant with many dishes repeated every night but also with many specials every night. Some food is labelled but much is not. The salad dressings are hit and miss with no labels and you just have to guess. It would be good if the hotel could sort out labels for all food including the cheeses and desserts.

Bars are well stocked but no premium drinks. We asked for Baileys on the rocks and when they poured it out of the bottle it was lumpy. They apologised and got a new bottle, that also was lumpy.

Swimming Pool is scrupulously clean. Plenty of sunbeds and only a handful of people putting towels out. Twice we went to the beach, came back mid-afternoon and dozens of free beds to choose from. Massive shout out to Moussa, the poolside attendant on skates. He looked after us the whole holiday always passing by our beds and making sure we were topped up with drinks. Friendly and a warm smile always. The entertainment and animation team were excellent but the daytime activities around the pool were far too loud. The music is cranked up so loud I couldn’t hear my own music with my AirPods. It really doesn’t need to be that loud. Same for the compere, appreciate his enthusiasm and professionalism but turn the mic down a few notches.

Beach and restaurant. An 8 minute stroll or free shuttle bus. The beach area is stunning. Beautiful sandy beach with a small section of pebbles. Take beach shoes!!!! The water is crystal clear and very pleasant. The beach restaurant is immaculate with plenty of tables and a fabulous bar menu. Also, free ice cream at the beach too.

The main issue the hotel has in poor housekeeping. We returned on several days to unmade beds, the free bar not topped up. There really should be a basic level of housekeeping to include making the beds properly. On one day they just flicked my duvet and stuffed the decorative pillows in the corner. This is unacceptable in a 5 star hotel.

Bare minimum is make the beds, fold/replace towels, top up mini bar and empty bins. As previously suggested a checklist for each room should be in force along with regular inspection by management.

The spa treatment was very robust, despite me showing them in Turkish and Indonesian that I had recently had an operation and needed a gentle massage. The masseuse was far too hard and on several occasions I had to stop her. The hammam scrub was also very rough and left me with bruising under my arm and a rash. More communication is required here. There was no questionnaire or enquires into any medical conditions. No risk assessment.

The hotel photographer is far too pushy trying to sell overpriced photos. Constantly harassing us and eventually he left us alone.

Overall the holiday was fabulous and I would return but these issues should be addressed

First of all I’d like to thank to all of the staff, especially reception that helped us with transfer in situation our travel agency did a mistake. Special thanks to Anna, Uzgur, Melih, Can and Husayn from entertainment team that made our stay unforgetable you guys doing great job. About the hotel,it is close to belek, theres a shuffle bus that goes to beach 2x in hour so you dont have to walk. The food was usually very good. Also very nice night programs. Only one thing that gives the review down for us is the housekiipng. When We arrived the room was dirty and really not ready for us to come. However when we called the reception they solved the problem quickly, but still this is something very uncomfortable for the beginning of your holiday.

Nice environment, friendly staff. I was happy with my choice.
