We had a wonderful stay at Orange County and truly enjoyed our first experience here. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, and the whole vacation left us with many great memories. We would especially like to thank the gentleman at the reception who welcomed and checked us in on September 9. Unfortunately, we did not catch his name, but he was wearing glasses and was extremely friendly, professional and helpful. He handled our check-in very smoothly and made a great first impression. A special thank you to him! One of the highlights was the entertainment programme, especially the Latino shows — they were fantastic! The resort also has excellent facilities for families with children. The Kids Club is very well organized, and the slides were a big hit. The sea, private and secure grounds, numerous swimming pools and the activities throughout the day make the resort a great choice for a family holiday. We also really enjoyed the food. There was a great variety of delicious options, including snacks, burgers and ice cream. The bars were excellent as well. The coffee inside the main building was especially good, and we loved the live evening music — piano, saxophone and violin created a very pleasant atmosphere. The room service was also excellent. Our room was cleaned every day, fresh water was provided regularly, and the welcome drink was a lovely touch. Everything was well organized and made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to visit the spa, but we hope to do so on our next visit. One small suggestion: it would be fantastic to have a boxing bag in the fitness room. It would be a great addition for guests who enjoy boxing or functional training. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and would like to thank the entire team for their hospitality, attention and excellent service. We will remember this vacation for a long time and would be happy to come back again!
My friend and I try to do a break every couple of years to relax and do as little as possible.
We achieved that here.
Airport transfer was slightly longer than anticipated, but there are road works. If you did a private transport you would be less than an hour from the airport.
Room was clean and tidy, mini bar (soft drinks only) was good and re stocked daily.
The day time snack bars are fantastic, really good selection. As with a lot of AI hotels the main restaurant has the almost impossible task of catering to everyone.
And it really wasn’t bad. There’s a BBQ section which offers a choice of 2 meats of an evening, there’s an excellent salad bar and there’s also different cooking stations. For me the meat and salads are more than enough. I under not everyone will like this though. There are the only chips, nugs and pasta as well though.
It’s the first place I’ve been and not been harassed for spa, massage etc. Which was really nice. There is not a hard sell here.
We’ve had such a restful few days, and yes I would come back.
It’s more than fairly priced for the amenities and location.
Our experience: 2 adults with two children (5 years old + 10 months old)
The receptionist immediately told me that, if we didn't like the room, she could give us another one — but we would have to pay €120 for 9 nights. I strongly suspect this is something that happens regularly at this hotel.
The sheets had holes in them. The balcony was barely cleaned at all. The floor was dirty, and the bathroom was extremely dirty. The cleaner seemed to simply pour chlorine into the toilet, leaving such a strong smell that it remained for around three hours even with the window open.
Dirt, hair, sand and other debris accumulated on the floor, especially underneath the sink.
The bathtub had mould and was apparently completely ignored by the cleaning staff. The drain was also blocked, so we had to use our foot to push the water down so that it would drain.
The children's pool, however, was freezing cold. We all came back from Turkey sick, and I cannot help but wonder if the extremely cold children's pool contributed to that.
In the large pool, I noticed many pieces of chlorine tablets floating around in the morning. They were apparently throwing the tablets directly into the pool, without them dissolving properly. These pieces could easily be swallowed by children — but apparently nobody at the hotel seemed to care.
This is definitely not a child-friendly beach, unless you bring proper water shoes.
And this was repeated every single day.
The gözleme deserves a special mention. At the end, they cut it directly on a plastic cutting board. Pieces of the plastic would end up in the gözleme. When we complained to the managers, they basically didn't care.
We were literally told: “So what if pieces of plastic get into the food?”
Apparently, they use this type of cutting board throughout the kitchen. And they were right about that — afterwards, I actually found the same type and colour of plastic on a piece of fried fish.
The dishes and tableware were also very worn out. The glasses were often visibly dirty. I assume even the hotel noticed this, because they had started placing disposable plastic cups next to the regular glasses as an alternative.
Overall
I do not recommend this hotel at all. If cleanliness, hygiene, food safety, a decent room and a child-friendly pool and beach are important to you, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.
We personally would not return.
I guess we should again ( 3-th time) choose Azura Delux Resort
I’m stopping by to share a very recent review of Orange County Hotel in Boğazkent, Belek. We went on a coach holiday with 9 nights, from 12 to 21 September. We arrived at the hotel at around 4:30 a.m. We were given our wristbands immediately and set off to explore the hotel.
The hotel has compact, pleasantly landscaped grounds, and literally everything is within easy reach.
It consists of two five-storey buildings. The interior is warm and fresh, while the bright orange exterior façade, complete with its characteristic windmill, adds to the cheerful atmosphere.
The hotel has a swimming pool with water slides, a children's pool and a fairly large main pool.
There are plenty of sun loungers both around the pools and on the beach, so there is no need to get up early to secure a spot.
The beach has sunshades and a wide stretch of sand, which gradually gives way to small stones as you approach the sea.
Those with more sensitive feet will appreciate having water shoes.
The water gets deep quite quickly, and the stones continue further out into the sea.
The rooms are bright, spacious and comfortably furnished.
A standard room consists of one large double bed and one single bed, and the balcony is also generously sized.
The minibar is replenished daily, free of charge, with water, juice and soft drinks.
Food is available practically everywhere and at almost any time of day.
Besides the main restaurant, there is a French fries kiosk, a beach restaurant serving döner kebabs, burgers, pizzas and salads, as well as a kiosk serving pide and soft-serve ice cream.
The patisserie offers a variety of fresh sweet treats. My personal favourites were the lemonade and iced coffee!
The food in the main restaurant is tasty and reasonably varied. However, I would have liked a wider selection of fish, as the main options were usually salmon or mackerel.
There is no seafood selection, but on the other hand, there is a large choice of cooked dishes.
Other options include a barbecue, a Chinese food section, plenty of salads and starters, countless baked goods and pastries, desserts and fresh fruit.
One great feature is the late-night dinner service starting at midnight, perfect for those who are still hungry late at night!
Orange County is also one of the few hotels offering complimentary lunch boxes for guests travelling on early flights. You just need to book one at reception in advance.
There are plenty of bars throughout the hotel. The lobby bar is open 24 hours a day, and there are also bars by the pool, on the beach and on the pier.
The best cocktails, in my opinion, are served at the lobby bar, which also offers branded spirits, including Johnnie Walker Black Label.
Another lovely touch is the Lavazza coffee corner in the lobby, where there is something to suit every coffee lover.
The entertainment programme is enjoyable without being intrusive.
During the day, activities include yoga, belly dancing, boccia, darts, water polo, water aerobics and aqua spinning. Each activity lasts no more than 20 minutes.
In the evening, the programme takes place in the amphitheatre. It usually starts with a mini disco for the little ones until 9 p.m., followed by a show featuring guest performers and then a DJ set or live music, including fantastic female singers performing both classic and modern hits. The entertainment continues until 11:30 p.m.
A lovely extra is the live classical music performed in the lobby every evening during dinner.
Another plus is that there are no bingo nights like at some other hotels, and the entertainment team doesn't take a day off!
I almost forgot to mention the fantastic kids' club near the beach, where children can enjoy a variety of interesting activities from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m.
The hotel is within walking distance of a market, pharmacies and a Migros supermarket.
Buses and dolmuş minibuses to Kadriye and Belek town centre also stop nearby.
Overall, I would rate Orange County as an excellent budget-friendly hotel that offers great value for money, with tasty food, good entertainment, spacious rooms and very polite, friendly and cheerful staff.
What impressed me most was the standard of cleanliness. Both the rooms and the communal areas are cleaned constantly and thoroughly. The staff even take photos to document their work!
In a nutshell – I highly recommend it! ☀️🏖️
