Limak Arcadia Sport Resort

Flew first time Southend…..highly recommend very quiet and friendly. Transfer from Antalya was slow due to waiting for two people to get on bus. Hotel about 30 mins from airport.

Arrived about 10pm with two tired children under 6 and the standard room was awful, pics attached, complained and the two behind reception were very rude. Man and a younger women.

Room was small, air con was rubbish, electrics were dodgy, phone cable dangling off light and balcony wouldn’t lock with a toddler who’s into everything. They couldn’t understand why we would be worried with a drop on other side.

Spoke with guest relations Ilyada she’s a credit to the hotel and did manage to sort us a new room the following day at 11am. Did ruin our first evening after a long day travelling and not how you wish to start holiday.

The food here is plentiful and there is plenty to choose but many guests have zero manners so be prepared to feel like you’re at a zoo!

Lots of going on entertainment wise and no sunbed wars which was great!

Evening show is good but the T-shirt parade and medals is repetitive they charge extra for it for T-shirts/sand pics which is a gag along with the popcorn/candy floss in evening.

Around the pool gets very dirty and gritty, shame this isn’t cleaned every evening and beds moved.

Weather been 35-40 degrees everyday but lots of shade.

This hotel could be outstanding but isn’t a five star, it’s a 4 star. We have enjoyed our visit and also got a late check out after the screw up first night.

We did have nice week away!

We had an amazing time at Arkadia Sport Resort! The entertainment team was absolutely fantastic and made our holiday even more fun. A special mention to Didi — he was super friendly, funny and always full of energy. He really knows how to entertain people and made sure everyone felt included. The whole entertainment team created such a great atmosphere throughout our stay. Definitely one of the highlights of the hotel! ❤️

Just returned from a week stay with a teen. The hotel has many positive points and a few negatives. Room was small but we managed and in main building which for us was perfect location. The temperature was 40+ degrees most days, the Air con in the room and main areas struggled. Drinks like wine, beer good. Cocktails not the best and not put in a nice glass unless you ask. Pink gin available at lobby bar and outside bar at top only. Nuts are available at all the bars. Beach bar & cocktail bar on beach also open at night which nice quiet option. Refurbished lobby bar with plenty nice seating areas. As peak season, very busy and main restaurant on a night was total chaos, couldn't get a table or a drink most nights. This was the worst part of the holiday for us. Chinese a la carte well worth paying for. Sadly the hotel had a lot of rude, entitled people who believe they can walk to the front of a long queue. I had to tell a few people to go to the back as the bar staff just serve them! Plenty activities going on, darts is a big hit and on twice a day for kids and adults in same shaded area. Not many partys/DJ's if you are looking for this vibe. , There is one party night on a Thursday which was great and a foam party one day. Lovely grounds, and sandy beach. Good snack bar on beach, top tip - it says closes at 5pm but then toasties are served. Watersports are for each hotel only so you can't shop around & were very expensive. Lovely pier area with fridges with water/soft drinks. Pools were good, easier to get beds on a morning at the top pool - however this is a deep pool. Towel hut at the top pool area. The last day after check out there is a shower to use, only one available for males/females and no air con so unbearably hot. There is a lock on door which beware does not lock the door so you will have people walking in when you are trying to shower/change which was not nice. This was the worst courtesy facilities we have ever come across in a hotel. Overall an enjoyable 4* holiday
