It was my first time visiting IC hotels and it definitely was an extraordinary experience, especially I want to mention daily sports activities, in specific Fly Yoga and SUP classes. They were held by a huge professional and just a great person: Deniz. She really loves her job, so you wont get bored joining her classes. Management team, you gotta give her a raise. Ciao

The hotel has very good facilities, a pleasant environment and plenty of options for families with children. One of the biggest advantages is that everything is conveniently located within the resort – the rooms, restaurants, pools, beach and other services. During our stay, there was always enough space on the beach and in the main restaurant, where we could easily find a free table without a long wait.

From our arrival and throughout our stay, the reception and Guest Relations teams were very helpful and tried to accommodate our requests. I really appreciated the friendliness and willingness of the staff.

The hotel, restaurant and common areas were clean. The animation programme, kids' club and children's activities were excellent, as was the evening entertainment. The beach was well maintained and the beach service was satisfactory. The food was varied and generally tasty. The ice cream was excellent, and there was a good selection of drinks and alcoholic beverages.

A big positive was the possibility of ordering gluten-free pizza, which was prepared quickly and tasted good. I also appreciated the staff's help in arranging gluten-free beer for my wife. The minibar was regularly and sufficiently replenished. Wi-Fi worked very well throughout our stay, and the room was well equipped.

Another positive was the fitness centre, which was a useful addition to the hotel's facilities.

Negatives

The bathroom could benefit from renovation, as its fixtures and fittings were outdated and had clearly seen better days.

Housekeeping was another weak point. Several times, I asked around noon for our room to be cleaned by approximately 4:00 PM, but this repeatedly did not happen. I then had to contact Guest Relations, who helped resolve the situation after my message. Eventually, we agreed on morning cleaning, which worked much better.

We also had a negative experience with the delivery of medication from a pharmacy for my wife. The order was repeatedly delivered incorrectly, and we did not receive a receipt. In the end, I had to wait approximately two hours for the delivery, which is particularly unpleasant when medication is needed due to health problems. I would have expected better coordination and checking of such orders.

Health problems during our stay

The biggest negative aspect of our stay was the gastrointestinal illness we experienced. After approximately three days at the hotel, all three of us – myself, my wife and our two-year-old son – became ill and experienced significant vomiting.

The following day, I contacted the hotel's doctor. We were informed that the consultation would cost €150 and that we would subsequently be sent to hospital. We therefore decided to seek medical care independently in Antalya. My wife and I received IV fluids, while our son had blood tests, which did not confirm a bacterial infection.

During our stay, we also met several Slovak and Czech guests who told us that they had experienced similar gastrointestinal problems. In addition, a Slovak acquaintance of ours, Matúš, was staying at the same hotel with his wife. His condition became significantly worse, and he ended up in hospital, where he and his wife stayed for approximately four days. According to the information he gave us, bacteria were found in his blood and urine.

However, we cannot determine what caused any of these individual health problems. We therefore present this information only as our personal experience and as experiences reported to us by other guests during our stay.

Another negative was the situation on 23 September, when part of the indoor pool was closed due to contamination. Since the individual sections of the pool are connected, in my opinion it would have been more appropriate to close the entire connected system and carry out a complete hygiene inspection and disinfection.

The outdoor children's pool with toys and slides was nice, although the water was rather cold for small children.

Another disappointment was that the pier was closed from 24 September. This was unfortunate because the pier is a pleasant part of the resort, and guests could no longer use it during the final days of our stay.

Overall impression

The hotel has a lot of potential, and many aspects are genuinely very good – the staff, cleanliness, entertainment, beach, available space, room facilities, Wi-Fi, food, fitness centre and services for children. I particularly appreciated the helpfulness of Guest Relations and the staff when dealing with individual requests.

Unfortunately, our overall experience was significantly affected by the health problems during our stay, reports of similar problems from other guests, repeated housekeeping issues, complications with medication delivery, the outdated bathroom and several restrictions during the final days of our holiday.

Despite the many positive aspects, these issues had a considerable impact on our overall impression. Our final rating is 3/5.

Practical summary for families with children

The hotel is very well designed for families. The resort is compact, and everything is within a short walking distance, so you do not have to make long journeys with small children. During our stay, there was plenty of space on the beach and in the main restaurant.

The kids' club, animation programme, evening entertainment, children's pools, beach and friendly staff are all significant advantages. The regular minibar replenishment, good room facilities, excellent Wi-Fi and availability of gluten-free food are also practical for families. The fitness centre is another useful facility.

However, the bathroom would benefit from renovation, and the water in the outdoor children's pool can be quite cold. If you are travelling with small children, it is also worth having a plan in place in case medical assistance is needed during your stay.

Overall, this is a resort with a lot to offer families, but we experienced several issues that significantly affected our holiday. For us, the combination of the health problems, organisational shortcomings and some aspects of the hotel's facilities resulted in a rating of 3/5.

The hotel has a really relaxing feeling however do not feel it’s five stars.

We were here for 9days and do not feel there was one member of staff who went above and beyond. While none of them were rude there wasn’t any five star service apart from the Asian restaurant.

Would fully recommend going to the Asian restaurant and it’s worth the money.

The children’s team, again fine. But didn’t make any effort to get kids involved. It’s either your child attended or not.

While not a requirement just a point to note that many staff do not speak English, which is difficult with children when they are trying to communicate.

Something I would say, there was some staff in the icecream box, who didn’t interact with the children, didn’t even talk to guess just stayed silent. The icecream box all children love and to have someone showing some excitement or showing them didn’t icecreams anything would be good.

The rooms are fine and the cleaning staff do clean them. But even when tipped don’t expect anything special like animal towels.

Strangely we found the beach the busiest place rather than the pool.

The animation team do zero pushing to join games or anything. So if you want to be left alone then this is good.

The hotel is lovely, the breakfast is good too. The coffee bar is a great addition. Branded ice creams and drinks. However the service and going the extra mile is missing.
