Granada luxury belek is a very good hotel, there is so much for the kids to do which is what we booked it for, the entertainment is great, the food is good too.
Over all good value for your money, there is 18+ zone too if you’re looking for abit of peace and quiet
Also overall very happy with the staff, no issues at all there, they’ve all been friendly, polite & helpful.
Amazing we are here right now and would 100% recommend!
Large hotel but feels comfy. Food is good swimming pool is great. Room is really large.
Massive hotel, with lots to do. No issues with sunbeds very clean
We have been staying at the Granada Luxury Belek for the past few days and, while we’ve enjoyed parts of our holiday, there are definitely some things worth knowing before you book.
First of all, this hotel is enormous. We didn’t mind the amount of walking, but I would not recommend it for anyone with mobility issues, as getting from one area to another can take quite a while.
The hotel is also quite isolated. You can’t really walk out of the hotel to anywhere worth exploring. The beach isn’t within walking distance either – it’s a short shuttle bus ride away and is shared with at least three other Granada hotels. If you like to wander into a town, browse local shops or cafés, or take an evening stroll outside the resort, this probably isn’t the hotel for you.
We’re here at the beginning of the season and the main restaurant is incredibly busy. It’s so large that by the time you’ve found everything you want, your food is often cold. That said, there is a great variety of food, it’s well cooked, and the restaurant staff work incredibly hard and are friendly.
Unfortunately, many guests seemed to have very little consideration for others. We experienced a lot of pushing and shoving at meal times, including adults barging past children. This wasn’t the fault of the hotel, but it definitely affected the atmosphere.
Our family room is perfectly adequate but falls well short of what I’d expect from a five-star hotel. One particularly strange design feature is the large window between the bathroom and the bedroom. Although there is a blind, it offers limited privacy, and if someone needs to use the bathroom during the night, turning on the light illuminates the bedroom and is likely to wake anyone sleeping in the double bed. It’s not a very practical layout for families. We were also kept awake late into the night by guests in the room above screaming and arguing, and the soundproofing doesn’t appear to be the best.
The entertainment has been one of the highlights of our stay. The shows are excellent and there’s plenty going on each evening. However, the seating area becomes extremely crowded, with many people “reserving” seats by putting their feet or belongings on them rather than actually sitting there, making it frustrating to find somewhere to watch.
The pools are fantastic—large, clean and with plenty to keep teenagers entertained. During our stay we’ve had no problem finding sunbeds, which has been a pleasant surprise.
The Wi-Fi is good when connected, but it regularly drops out, so you need to keep reconnecting throughout the day.
The biggest disappointment for us was the beach. Being shared between multiple Granada hotels means it becomes extremely crowded. It’s very small, not particularly clean, and we found cigarette butts scattered throughout the sand. The smell of fuel was overpowering at times and, unless you’re prepared to pay a significant amount to hire a private cabana, it’s difficult to find any personal space.
Finally, check-in was chaotic. We waited over 40 minutes, received very little information about the hotel or how everything worked, and were handed a basic map that wasn’t particularly helpful given the size of the resort.
Overall, we’ve still managed to enjoy our holiday thanks to the excellent pools, entertainment, food and the hardworking staff. However, this simply isn’t the standard I expect from a five-star hotel. There are too many compromises, from the rooms and beach to the organisation, overcrowding and location. While others may enjoy it, we wouldn’t return and would choose a different hotel for our next visit to Turkey.
