Crystal Family Resort and Spa

We arrived at approximately 2:00 PM on August 30, 2026. At the reception, we were informed that they could not provide us with the rooms we had originally booked.

We had booked two rooms back in January 2026, and the reservation clearly included a request for the rooms to be next to each other, as we are one family.

When they saw that I was clearly unhappy with their response, they promised us that from the second day onwards, we would definitely be given the rooms we had originally booked.

We accepted this and said that we could manage one night in a different room.

The following morning, we were told that we could collect the new rooms at 1:00 PM. We understood and accepted this.

At 1:00 PM, we went to the reception expecting to receive the new rooms. However, we were then informed that my brother and his family’s new room was ready, but ours was not, and that we would only be able to move into our room at 2:00 PM.

At this point, the manager came out personally to inform us about the delay. If I remember his name correctly, it was Niyazi — I apologize if I have remembered the name incorrectly.

This was the point where my patience finally ran out. I raised my voice and expressed my frustration because I simply could not understand how they could keep making promises and then changing them.

We were travelling with two small children and a stroller. We had already accepted spending one night in an unpleasant-smelling room on a floor without an elevator. We had to carry all of our luggage, the stroller, and everything else up and down ourselves, including with the children, because nobody offered any assistance whatsoever.

The manager tried to calm me down and explained that all of their rooms were fully occupied, etc. However, at that point, this was no longer something I could accept as an excuse.

Eventually, he said that they would try to have our room ready by 1:30 PM. I told him that if I had to wait, I would return at 2:00 PM as they had originally told us, and I specifically requested that our new room card be prepared next to my brother’s family’s room.

At 2:00 PM, we finally received our new room. It was indeed on the same floor as my brother’s family, but it was approximately five rooms away from theirs. By that point, however, this was the least of my concerns after everything that had happened.

I would also like to mention that communication in English with the hotel staff was extremely difficult. Neither the reception staff nor the manager seemed to speak even basic English. They relied on Google Translate for communication. Whatever I said to them, they would smile politely, nod, and repeatedly say, “Yes, yes.” :)))

Apart from this incident, however, we had a pleasant holiday at the Crystal Family Comfort Hotel.

We liked the fact that everything was conveniently located, and the food and service were generally good. The beach was also very child-friendly. As a family travelling with young children, we were happy that the little ones also had a great time.

Overall, we enjoyed our holiday, but the problems we experienced with our room arrangements and the communication with the hotel staff were extremely frustrating and left a negative impression on us.
