It’s Mina and Ivo, aka Crazy Man 😂
We were in avgust at Mary Hotel for the third time already! We were here last time in May. I have to say that for us, this hotel is one of the best — actually THE best hotel in Alanya! All the other hotels and their “palaces” can hide 😂
The hotel is beautiful, but most importantly, it is very clean and full of the best people, from reception, housekeeping and all the way to the managers. Everyone is so kind and helpful.
Our room was so beautiful, with the most amazing view of the beautiful sea. ❤️
The food is TOP! We actually think the food is even better than when we were here in May. The restaurant next to the beach also has very good food — and don’t even get me started on the waffles 🤭 Be prepared to leave this hotel at least 5 kilos heavier! 😂
The drinks are also great. As you know, Crazy Man LOVES alcohol, so for him everything is perfect 😂😂😂
I also have to mention the à la carte restaurant. We went there for the first time this year, of course for the Turkish menu, and the food was honestly some of the best we have ever tried in Turkey. The meat was so soft, perfectly seasoned and everything was just TOP!
We also have to mention the place with the desserts and the amazing coffee. You HAVE to try the cheesecake and the trileçe! 🤭 And of course, the coffee made by that handsome, tall guy 😂😂😂 Now I want to say a few special words about some of the people. (Of course, ALL of you are amazing!)
First, the animation team. They are such great people — friendly, funny and always ready to help. Big greetings and praise to Ricco, Dasha, Eda, Oscar and Bobby! You are a TOP team and I really hope you will all still be here next year! ❤️
I also want to say a big hello to the older gentleman who works as the lifeguard. He is such a kind person, always smiling and always ready to help. Unfortunately, we forgot his name. Please give him our greetings and tell him that we wish him all the best in life. ❤️ I also want to mention Mr. Evran, if I remember his name correctly. He is such a kind gentleman, always asking if everything is okay and always greeting us with a smile. And finally, we have to talk about our legend — Mr. Hasan. ❤️
For us, Hasan is a real jewel of this hotel. We don’t know him very well, but you can immediately see that he is a person with a very good heart. He is always ready to help and always came to us to ask if we needed anything or if everything was okay. For me personally, he felt almost like a father figure. He reminded me so much of my own father. ❤️ I will never forget how he helped us get into the à la carte restaurant when there was no space. Somehow, he managed to arrange everything for us and helped us with the reservation for the jacuzzi upstairs at the beach.
And we HAVE to talk about that jacuzzi! 😂 You get food, drinks, a fridge — everything you need. It was such a beautiful day and we honestly regret not booking it for more days. Maybe next year we will just book a room with a jacuzzi 😂😂

When we arrive at Mary Hotel, it honestly feels like we are coming back home to our family. ❤️ This hotel has a special kind of magic. You can feel it the moment you walk through the door, and that is something very special.

Great Hotel , highly recommend just not the food
We have just got back from this hotel and I could not recommend it enough. It was a great experience from start to finish 👌 Welcome drink at 1am in the morning and food waiting for us as well as a free room upgrade without asking all within 10 minutes of arrival.
Room was amazing with great views with the cleaners being fantastic every day cleaning to the highest standard.
The hotel itself is a hidden gem off the main road with great shops and bars around ...
Pool was perfect the beach spotless the sea as warm as a bath and as clear as anything. The highlight was the cabanas you can rent for €125 which may seem expensive but comes with hot tub, bar service all day , snacks , fruit , ice cream all brought as you lay with an open view of the sea 🌊
The actual hotel is spotless and the staff could not do enough for us every single person was friendly the whole trip . Especially the guest relations who helped us out twice i didn't get there name but they was simply perfect nothing was a hassle and always checked in on us .
Now the only downfall is the food ! It was not good at all for a hotel of this standard. The options was not good and very repetitive with cheap cuts of meat mainly turkey being used , now im not a fussy eater and found something but after a couple of days we didn't want to go as we knew what it would be and how the quality was and this was a real let down because there is beautiful salads, breads , cheeses everything you can think of but the hot food was a massive let down and this is why im not sure I would return which is a real shame because everything else was so perfect we fell in love with the hotel and the staff but not the food .
Would I recommend definitely but not the food side thats all which is sad because we loved our stay and wanted to stay longer .
Having said that dont let this put you off booking because everything else and the people definitely cancelled the negative on the food .

Great facility, great food and great people! Rooms are very clean, the staff is very friendly and welcoming (give my love to Dasha and Rico)! Really enjoyed the stay and would recommend to everyone!
