Numa Bay Exclusive Hotel

Had several lunchtime meals at the Ali Baba restaurant! The food is brilliant, a beautiful setting overlooking the sea under shady trees. The service is fab, Sakir is an excellent host, very friendly, attentive & accommodating to our needs. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant! Will be so sorry to leave. Until the next time! 😀

We set off on our holiday to a bad start. What should have been a 4 1/2 hour flight from Belfast turned out to be an 8 hour flight after diversions back to the UK. Thankfully we had a private transfer that was 1.5hours long. We arrived to this hotel on the 3rd Aug as a family of 5 around 2am. On my original booking I asked for the rooms to be close. As we were a family of 5 the maximum in a room was 4 so we had to book 2 rooms. We booked 2 superior rooms with land views and were giving 2 superior rooms with building site views. I had a feeling this was going to be case based on reviews and the Facebook pages but the reality was still a shock. Should you have the misfortune of having booked a superior room with land view you will also be facing White City hotel next door as well. Their generator sounds like a plane taking off, the noise is so loud. I also contacted the hotel 3 weeks prior to request an interconnecting room so that we could holiday together but was informed that interconnecting rooms isn't something that the hotel does. So I then asked for our rooms to be next door to each other. I was told that it would depend on availability.

No we didn't get beside each other. My room was 3619 and my husbands was 3633 on the 6th floor of the new block that was built earlier this year. The staff on the desk informed me that the hotel was fully booked there were no other rooms to offer. These rooms were too far apert for my comfort. I had my 2 girls with me in our room 15yrs & 17years. I was very anxious after reading the serious safety incident reviews on Tripadvisor and comments in the Facebook review pages regarding Russian men chatting up young girls.

This would have been a far more relaxing holiday if my husband and son were next door especially at sleep time.

Couldn't get booked in for any A La Carte as they were all booked up.

We went down one of the nights to watch the fire and animation show. They don't have enough seating for everyone to watch. If you stand, your standing in 30* heat which is not ideal. So we just came back to the piano bar. Drinks were fab in the Piano bar.

The food and selection was very good although my youngest struggled a few of the nights for dinner. Thank god for the Avenue food court.

The skater waiters are a nice touch if you are far away from the pool bar.

House keeping was good. No issues with our room cleaning and mini bar being restocked daily.

Dean and Victor were lovely. All of the staff were lovely really you can see how hard everyone works especially the animation team.

The Pool. I had to come down at about 6.45 to get 5 beds together and stayed with my beds but so many of the sunbeds were already reserved. They sat for hours with towels and inflatables on them and by 1pm many of the beds still sat untouched which is just selfish. The pool area could do with better maintenance as there were cigarette butts, clumps of hair and even bits of food from the previous day still lying around the pool.

All in all It was a good holiday and we do have some lovely memories of this holiday.

Would I come back? No it wasn't a 5* experience for us.

We had a wonderful time staying here as a family! The hotel is very family-friendly, and the food overall was delicious. However, there were limited options for children most days chips and nuggets, so more variety there would be a great improvement. Additionally, the cleanliness in the rooms could have been a bit better as showers had obvious mould and build up. The location was ideal, right next to all the lovely shops. While the service was okay overall, we did encounter slight noise issues and often faced complaints when trying to exchange towels. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it! Id like to say a special thank you to Moni for helping us locate the aqua park and showing us around. And an extra extra special thank you for the cats you made our holiday enjoyable with all the cuddles
