It is so so so loud here at all hours of the day, I don’t know how anyone is sleeping. Expect festival level noise late into the night with no escape in your room.
Terrifying transfer, road rage driver trying to ram another bus off the road, actively targeting people on mopeds, a bus stinking of smoke, and a “break” quite clearly at his mates dodgy shop to try and force you to spend money, but which was too scary to let the kids off the bus!
Crammed between other hotels that all seem to compete for the loudest evening entertainment. The beach is man made and has a steep drop off into water so not great for little ones.
There has been lots of attempts to create atmosphere but this is NOT a 5* hotel by any means. Blaring music around the pools, people smoking heavily in all areas, brash day and evening entertainment, and the sadly stereotypical dash for sun beds at 6am. There were 3 days out of 7 we had nowhere to sit. Just a pretty, cramped, classless and cattle market feel to the place.
Rooms are cleaned by the loudest team on earth so don’t expect a lie in. Beds are changed daily and the room reset. However there was lots of wear and tear visible, something unknown splashed up the rooms artwork and a railing on the balcony that left us terrified with large gaps at either end. The walls are paper thin to expect to hear from your neighbours from all angles, additionally the glass door is paper thin and you simply can not escape just how ridiculously loud the evening entertainment is.
The value of the resort is up for debate, I am fairly gutted that I booked a 5* experience and this is more of a 3 at best. The food choice is huge but the main restaurant is like a cattle market, huge long queues for the popular items and the food just isn’t topped up enough to sustain the whole hotel. But really the value you get is it’s all you can eat with lots of choice. The bars are well stocked but there is definitely not any premium brands available. Iced coffee on tap is wonderful but it’s no Starbucks so expect basic. Bizarre opening and closing times at all of the outlets and additionally the staff are forever opening late and closing times early.
Really sadly quite a miserable stay as it’s just so disappointing when the travel agents advert says one thing and you get something so totally different.
Will not be back, will not recommend.
Ali and berat rly good bartenders shout out them
This is our second time at Numa Bay. The hotel has lots more facilities than in 2025. Our room was ok but didn't get the superior room we asked for. It seemed the superior room was overlooking the construction site and not the pool areas. It did the job. Our room has been cleaned daily and towels etc replaced. The new snack bar area is great and there is lots of choice. The kebabs are very popular and maybe need a extra station The slides are great and the new larger ones are fun but scary! No problems getting sunbeds but later in the day there are none left. Poolside music is loud and quite repetitive and sometimes inappropriate for children. Had a spa this year which was really good. Thankfully I wasn't hassled like last year. Entertainment team are great. Just want the evening show to start sooner as the intros are too long. The shows should be a little earlier as 9.30 seems quite late. I had regular yoga class with Kris who is lovely. The new stage is great and really benefits bigger and better acts. The plaza near the beach seems a bit of a wasted space, suggest local handicraft market. Bar staff are great, very friendly. Piano bar is great and provides lovely drinks. The lady playing piano is great. Dean, Lauren and Victor have made our stay fun and are always checking in on us.
The only issues are dining hall gets crowded as everyone is queuing. We tended to sit at far end of restaurant which was much quieter. Even though our family is more of a dog loving family we were quite angry that people were letting there kids pick up kittens and separating them from their mum's. There is a lovely tabby cat that has kittens that we called Phoenix that sometimes scratches. There is also a blind cat near Ali Babas that we named Tom, he did get attacked by a nother cat but do be wary of him because he sometimes tries to claw at you the cats come in the restraint but don't bother you. The area near the hotel is floor to ceiling of designer goods. You can easily get a bus into Alanya on the main road which goes every 10 minutes Overall we had a great stay at Numa Bay and hope to return next year.
Its really an amazing hotel. There are many people that are mad about the food or drinks, but I would say there’s a lot of amazing things like every night there’s always some show or disco. The shows are always amazing to watch. There’s a disco for kids too. There are helpful and kind working people like Gaston and Brown. And the most amazing was the trip we went around the Alanya by jeeps and boat.
What an amazing place, so much to do. We’ve had great service since the moment that we arrived. Massive shout out to Ali & Kadir in the blue lobby bar, they certainly know how to look after their guests. Thanks gents. 👍🏻
