The hotel is located in the city centre, 1.5 km to Cleopatra beach, 130 km from Antalya airport, 50 km away from the Gazipasa airport . It offers the airport transfer service to their guests, who would like to have that.
The hotel provides free shuttle service to Cleopatra beach every day .
High technology metro internet access service is available in the hotels. Internet access in the lobby, restaurant and around the pools is free of charge. Guests can receive this service by paying 40 TL per week in the rooms.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We recently stayed at Villa Sunflower in Alanya and had a mixed experience.
On the positive side, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a much nicer apartment than the one we originally booked, which was a great start to our holiday. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, and the restaurant and pool areas were generally kept tidy. The staff were quick to clear away dirty plates and glasses, which helped keep the dining area organized. Another advantage was that the queues at the bar were usually short, so getting drinks was rarely a problem.
However, there were several areas where the hotel could improve. Housekeeping was inconsistent; our room was not cleaned on one of the days, and we did not receive fresh bath towels every day. We also noticed that guests were allowed to sit and drink right at the edge of the pool without staff intervening, which did not seem very safe.
The food was below average and lacked variety, especially at breakfast. Our children often chose not to eat breakfast because there were very few options they enjoyed. The two-bedroom apartments typically have only one air-conditioning unit, which is simply not enough during the hot summer months.
Communication was sometimes difficult because many staff members spoke very limited English, and some appeared unfriendly or uninterested in helping guests. Entertainment was also limited, taking place only about three times per week, which left little to do in the evenings.
The pool areas were quite small and often overcrowded, making it difficult to find space to relax. Families with young children may also find that the hotel is not particularly child-friendly compared to other family-oriented resorts.
Overall, Villa Sunflower has some strengths, including clean accommodations, efficient table service, and short bar queues. However, the food quality, limited facilities, overcrowded pools, lack of family-friendly activities, and inconsistent service make it difficult for us to rate it higher.
We had a great time here at Villa Sunflower. Great room, great pool and great food!
Also need to give a big thanks to Hüseyin who helped a lot!
All in all an amazing 7 day stay
Fine hotel, great food, really nice staff allover. No complaints at all. You get what you pay for here. No more, no less. Would I come again? Sure why not.
The hotel is so clean, overly clean and the staff will do anything to help you. You can’t be to much trouble. It was great a week ago until the brits turned up and made it into Spain. Bed holding all day whilst they go to the beach then return about 3pm. I British so I can say this. Other than that the beer is good the rooms are plenty spacious, beds comfy. It’s a little gem. The pool is clean and the shops, beach and night life are only ten minute walk away. And it’s a safe walk too. If you’re planning on doing trips use the shop opposite, exactly the same trips at 20% cheaper than through the reps in the hotel. My only gripe is the evening entertainment. It’s on 3 times a week and it’s a bit rubbish, it would be hard to entertain kids after hours. We just went out to be honest so it didn’t make any difference to us.
My first experience in Villa Sunflower Hotel, was excellent. Food perfect with various options. Staff were professional in their jobs and very helpful. The rooms were perfectly clean and tidy.
