Oba Star Hotel

We have really enjoyed our stay at Oba star. All of the staff are lovely, the food has been very good. The beach is very accessible. The rooms have been cleaned every day and we have had no issues whatsoever. The location is perfect especially if you like to eat out or to go shopping. Overall a positive experience.

Location was great. Shops was around and convenient- taxis were available and easy to get and the beach was very local 5 minute walk to be exact. The vibe was good overall occasionally people stare i am not sure if it is out of curiosity but as coloured individuals just be mindful. Comfort it’s nice i had a standard room and it was very tight for 3 people but we got by and the balcony was towards the pool and shops not a beach view as usual but it’s okay. The bathroom was decent. shower sink toilet. box room it done the job don’t expect anything big or fancy in the standard room. Staff like the maids were nice that’s about it. reception helped when needed but wasn’t anything going out of there way. Check in and Check out was very simple and easy no payment needed it’s a 24 hour service so when we checked out so early we got hot drinks. noise level was decent 10AM the events start and was loud but nothing where you can’t sleep. If you had the same budget wanted something convenient for shops and the beaches and cheapness i would recommend. downside there’s a lot of cats in the hotel. in the restaurant area too where food is which i did not like and overwhelmed me. Room remained clean and was cleaned daily.
